These headphones give out good sound and they are comfortable on the ears.

We bought this for the 17-year old's birthday to replace the Beats that broke (the headband part just split really quickly). The Sony headphones are terrific. Comfortable, clear, and great sound quality. We've had no trouble with these. Unfortunately, though, his iphone is now dead. So he needs to save up for a new music player to go with them!

Good sound. A bit recessed on the mid range. Good treble and bass. One big drawback is the very mediocre noise cancelling. I can’t hardly detect the difference with on/off for noise cancelling. If this is not important then great buy for the price.

These headphones are great. The active noise cancelling does a pretty good job of silencing noises from HVAC, and a buzzing chest cooler near my home office. While being wireless, it's also great that these sport a 1/8" jack and come with a cord which came in handy when using the monitor output on my Blue Yeti microphone when setting that up. These headphones also integrate with Google Assistant (and I think Siri, but I didn't try that), which comes in handy in a smart home. The downside to this is if you set up Google Assistant, you lose the functionality of the NC button, but I keep noise cancelling on all the time anyway so it's not that big of a drawback. The controls on the bottom of the right ear cup can control audio playback and navigating through tracks if one is away from the desk and need to silence them or just aren't digging the current track. Battery life is pretty good on these, I don't know exactly how long they will last, but using them throughout an entire workday, they only get down to "Battery Level Medium". I usually hook them up to the charger cable overnight anyway, but I'm sure they'd be good for travel.

I purchased these headphones for my husband. He travels a lot and is often annoyed by the noise of the airplane and passengers. He said these noise cancelling headphones take out all the noise and allow him to relax and enjoy the flight. They have excellent sound quality too! He also uses them for meditation. I highly recommend these top quality headphones.

For the cost these are great! I wear them on runs and they stay put.

I got these to replace some Bose on-eat headphones I’ve been using that hurt my ears in long session. These Sony ch700 are very comfortable and are exactly what I was looking for. 1 con is the leather ear cups can become quite toasty and not so breathable, if they had a cloth option I would have givin them a 5/5. Overall love he headphones and do not regret buying them!
