Bought this for my wife, the noise cancelling bit might be too good for this price point. It does really shut out the world. The sound quality is good aa well. Affordable, no real reason to splash cash on supposedly other premium quality units - just an upsell. Wonderful unit, good price, does the business...good quality.

These are good headphones. I play games and edit videos and these are good for what I use them for. The left speaker is not far enough back for my ear so it will rub against it which is uncomfortable but this will be different for everybody’s ears. I use these wired so I can’t say anything about the Bluetooth. It was nice to have the firmware on the headphones updated when they arrived.

I had this set for a month. The ear cuff fell off while I was walking through an airport. I had tethered it to my backpack. Yes, the ear cuff just fell off, and I did not notice until I was through security. Called Sony to see how I could buy a replacement cuff. They referred me to their parts partner (Sony doesn't sell parts directly) After a month's worth of calls between Sony and their parts partner, everyone agreed that there is NO WAY TO GET A REPLACEMENT EAR PAD. SONY offered to sell me a replacement at a discount. Seriously? I cannot buy a $5 replacement pad for a $150+ headset? I will not buy SONY again. As a side note, I travelled with my Boze headset for 6 years and it did not suffer at all from the "abuse" of walking through an airport. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Everything works great, the bass on headphones are punchy when tuned correctly through the phone software. The only real flaw to this is if you plan to have Noise Canceling while plugged into a PC or Phone. There's a hissing sound when the headphones are actually turned on that you cannot get rid of when plugged into a device. I'm going to return these more than likely due to this, as I thought the noise cancelling would work for my home PC however this device is only made for phone users. After doing research, this is a common problem with a lot of these Sony noise canceling headphones so I recommend not to get any for a plug-in device until they fix this hissing sound. Note: Plugged in, not turned on = no hiss sound Plugged in, turned on. noise cancelling off = hissing sound Plugged in, turned on, noise cancelling on = same hissing sound

Bought these to watch TV late at night. The noise canceling works great it removes the sounds from cooling fans and from my furnace and makes the listening experience much much better than regular headphones. I use this with a generic bluetooth transmitter from a headphone jack on a home audio receiver. Works GREAT!
