Also and doesn’t block out laughter, loud talking, etc. mostly blocks out television noises and other low sound effects.

Allow us to help make this a better experience. Adjusting the headband and the earpads properly can help reduce discomfort while wearing the headphones. These headphones actually support super-soft, pressure-relieving earpads in foamed urethane evenly distribute pressure and increase ear/pad contact for a stable fit and better noise canceling experience.

Sony’s New Noise Canceling Headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Suddenly, many of us are working from home in a make-shift “Office” trying to communicate via Video Chat over a Laptop with a washing machine or kids nearby. This makes Noise Cancelling Headphones with Bluetooth connection like the Sony WH-CH710W model, a real growing consumer electronics segment. They can also help preserve our hearing when using noisy lawnmowers and other yard equipment. I ran my riding mower and found that the noise cancelling was very effective. I know I have a big head and maybe my ears are larger than average, because I found that after a few hours of constant use the back edges of my ears began to ache. Features: - 35 hours of Noise Cancelling use per charge. - From very low battery state, 10 minutes of charging gives 1 hr. of use time. - Hands Free Phone Calling. - Volume and other controls on headset. PROS: - Relatively Compact and Lightweight (7.87 oz) - Excellent Battery Life (35 hrs. of Noise Cancelling use claimed) CONS: - No AC Charger Included - Earcups Interior Space Relatively Small - No Carry-Case Included Conclusion: This is a good example of a product slightly sacrificing some specifications to hit a value price point. You can get better bass response and some features elsewhere, but the barely noticeable difference might not be worth the higher price of top end Head Phones. The Sony WH-CH710W Noise Cancelling Headphones are worth your consideration.

Good headphones for the price point

Upon opening the box and removing the headphones from the box you instantly will notice the build quality is on the cheaper end of the spectrum. The headphones can be paired via Bluetooth through your device settings or through nfc tap to pair. You also have the option to use a 3.5 mm cable if you choose to do so. I appreciate Sony placing a USB type C port on the headphones for charging because it allows you to quick charge the headphones on the go.The battery life on the headphones definitely will last you close to the 35 hr listed on the specs. Pairing the headphones to my laptop and my iPhone was seamless and I did not have any issues with my Bluetooth signal dropping. I did make some phone calls and the mic quality was on par with most Bluetooth headsets. The noise cancelling quality is fairly good for this price point but it does fall short to some of my other over the ear headphones. Overall I think you receive a pretty good set of headphones for what you pay
