Disappointed the way tv uses the earphones

Thanks for sharing your experience on using your WH-CH710N headphones. We understand where you're coming from. We are not sure what brand of TV you have connected the headphones. These headphones can connect to a TV Bluetooth out, but dual audio out will depend solely on the TV's capability of listening to headphones or Bluetooth audio device and audio system/TV speakers at the same time.
Please note that some TV models can't output sound from both the headphones or Bluetooth audio device and the TV speakers at the same time. Doing this will cancel the TV speakers from being used. Check your device manual for more details.

Not nearly as good as next step up

They offer a good fit and the sound would be OK if there weren’t a couple of other options at this price point. There are Sony headphones for 20-50% more that blow these out of the water.

- Try playing another source on the device. For example, try another music app to see if the issue is with a particular app.
- When you listen to music from a computer on the headset, sound quality may be poor for the first few seconds after a connection is made. This is caused by the computer transmitting music at sound quality for communications at first, and it is not a malfunction.
- Unfortunately, this unit does not support the Sony Headphones Connect app for adjusting the EQ and trying different sound modes.
Our WH-CH710N adjustable metal slider so you can make your headphones the perfect size of you. That means more comfort for long listening. Note: If you put on the headset without adjusting the slider, the headset may not be positioned properly on your head, resulting in discomfort or a weak noise canceling effect.
