    Pretty great headset

After trying the Air Pods Pro and PowerBeats, I decided inside-the-ear listening devices weren't for me. I wanted a decent wireless headset mainly for listening for music on a Windows PC and sometimes Pixel 4. I'm currently using these Sony's and am very pleased. The recently bought and returned pod devices didn't deliver enough low end punch for me as their sound was very tinny. I felt like I had to jam the pods into my ear canals to get a tiny resemblance of bass. These on-ear cans fit the bill for me perfectly. They are wireless, relatively light weight, and even at default settings, have plenty of low end. I didn't get a chance to tinker with app much, but apparently you can turn the bass up, hence the name Extra Bass. I did however notice at extended listening periods, these cans bothered my ears a little. I just take them off for a few minutes, and they're fine. I like that you can tap the power button and a voice tells you how much battery power you have left. I'm not extremely rough on my headsets so I see these holding up well in the long run. As a sedentary PC user, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these headphones to a similar person. I haven't tried to exercise with them on or expose them to water (!!!), so I can't say how well they would hold up to those activities.

Not an Active Noise Canceling as listed on BestBuy

I was looking for a Noise Canceling headphones and bought WH-XB700 today, but found out this is not Noise Canceling Headphones as listed on bestbuy page. Will return it and exchange to another model. But I tested it. The headphones a good. The sound is very good. Bass is nice and clear. Better than in my Toyota JBL Subwoofer.

Light weight and comfortably fits my giant head. Battery life is insane. Mic works well for zoom, I don't know about phone calls. Best quality for this price point. Bluetooth connects easily to pc and Android.

The sound is fantastic. I also love the padding. My ears don’t hurt. These are very comfortable. The on/off button is very easy to use. It let’s me know how much battery is left. A very great price as well.

ATTN: These do not go over your ear. They are small ear pad headphones. Sound is great, but if you are like me and like your ears to go inside then stay away from these. The box made the ear pad look larger than they are. Speaker hole is a little bigger than a quarter.

This was on sale and I have other Sony wireless headphones that I use on a daily basis and decided to purchase these because my current headphones are on their last legs. I have had those for over 5 years and they have been put through a lot. These new ones will replace that for what I need in my everyday use. The build is good and it is plastic mostly but it is well built. Sound is really good, very midrange, light and not heavy on the head and comfortable when worn.

Good sound but the extra bass hurts my ears after a while. If I could turn the extra bass off and on it would be better. Size of muff part is.small for my ears to get the outside sound deafed. I like the weight and sound. It was easy to hook the Bluetooth part of the install. I would have liked to have a choice in color. Black gets lost, but a neon color is easier to find and more popular with a younger crowd.

In a total Bass head. My car rattles the road. These are super great for inside. They say they're not noise cancelling, so either they mostly are, or the bass has gotten to me. Using the equalizer, you can set it to hear the words too. So weird. I love that they're ON the ears, so my cartlidge supports them, not anything connected to my inner ears as I've been dealing with a lot of infections. I cannot wear my buds right now, but these I can wear all day. Love them.

Three stars means the product is average and that's exactly what the Sony WH-XB700 Extra Bass wireless, Bluetooth headphones are, they're average. The price point is a bit high but not too over the top. Some advice if you buy these is to also get jeadphone ear piece covers. Like most mid priced, mid quality headphones the foam ear piece cover material begins flaking away rather quickly. The cloth covers prevent this by absorbing your body oils from getting to the faux leather material and destroying it. With the negative stuff mostly out of the way I guess I should tell you about the good stuff. The extra bass is good for certain music choices, the kind where bass is the most prevalent tune. I also use then for gaming, not mic'd gaming but solo gaming amd theyre great for that. They're rather comfortable. They adjust easily and the ears begin needing a break after about 3 hours; at least for my ears. Overall, they're good head phones for the price.

These are by far my favorite headphones I tried in a long time. Tried the Beats and JBLs and found them to be lacking in some very important areas. However, these headphones check all the important boxes. Sound quality, check. Battery life, check. Comfort, check. Noise isolation, check. Style and finish, check. Features, check. If I had one complaint it will be that these beautiful and awesome headphones don't come with a case or pouch.

These headphones have good sound. They can handle music very well with a wide range of Treble and bass sounds. It runs for a long time on a charge. The only thing that I would improve on if I got another set would be to get a completely over the ear model. This rests on your earlobes.

This was baught to my 12 year old boy for primary school and car use. He really likes them, because they have the wireless ability, as well as a decent noise blocking, but still allows to hear teachers call. It has a great sound and they are nice to wear for long periods of time.

Comfortable on-ear phones with good base levels. Uses USB C and has long battery life. The only -- is the Noise cancellation could be better. So far the value exceeds the price.
