Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.was always a sony guy back in the day, but had a pair of beats solos prior to this pair. figured why not give sony another go. sound quality is great, love the sound for music. even got good usage while playing video games with them. i think noise cancellation is overrate. haven't found a pair in general that truly cancels external noise. nonetheless, these are great headphones and super comfy. sound quality is definitely comparable to the beats, if not better. it's a richer sound in my opinion. only other down fall with wireless headphones in general, they do not truly sync to the ps4 bluetooth

These headphones hit so hard. They are absolutely amazing and the sony headphones app is a must use with the headphones. Tons of different listening options and gives you the ability to boost the bass and I can genuinely say these headphones can handle the boost. They're clearly built to be take a beating with music. The battery life is crazy long too. I charge them once every two weeks and I use them about 3-4 hours a night before bed. So grateful for Sony for making these and the price is very inexpensive for what you get.

Great noise cancellation & love how I don’t need to turn the volume up to high to hear the bass. Also very comfortable to wear!

The over the ear part is soft and so is the part that goes on top of your head. I usually have a problem with the top part hurting my head after awhile but haven't experienced that with these. I'm also loving the battery life!! I use them a lot while I read, or clean and always seem to have battery. Overall I am enjoying my experience with these.

Amazing noise cancelling ability. BASS BASS BASS. However it has a sony app which i will say seems a little outdated but its functional so thats all that matter. You can change the EQ on the app so if you want to tone down the Bass this is possible. Overall amazing sound. I believe sony is the best in the business when it comes to sound quality. As for price i believe this stacks up and is better than most other headphones that are well above this price point of under $200.

The noise cancelling is great for when I am sitting in the back of the plane near the engines and can also hear movies and music on my android phone and tablet with no issues. Easy to use and connect via bluetooth. A cord included to plug into the aircrafts entertainment system. Very comfortable while wearing a mask. Wish it had come with a hard case for travelling instead of the soft bag.

Bought 3 for our household - they are that good. They are in constant use, the house is a lot quieter and to me or rather, us, the world is a lot quieter except for what we want to hear with adjustable noise cancellation, ease of use and long battery life.

They are comfortable and look better than similarly priced counterparts. I wish you didn’t need the app to connect them initially, but that is a minute issue. I have been very impressed with these headphones. The sound quality is fantastic. When trying them out, it was the first time in a long time that I just sat back and listened to music while doing nothing else. I ended up buying my son a pair, and he uses them all the time. The battery lasts for days, and charges off a standard USB-C port. Highly recommend.

Noise canceling was very good for a long flight from U,S. to New Zealand. Unfortunately my headphones were stolen in a hostel; although they are expensive, I replaced them because there is no going back to any other headphones. My husband likes to use them with WiFi and I prefer to plug them in - both options are available. The Sony - WH-XB900N are well worth the investment.
