Lightweight noise cancelling headphones.

They are great with listening to music or watching shows on your phone. My only gripe is that if you use discord they are no longer noice canceling and you’ll be able to hear yourself using the mic function which you cannot turn off which is unfortunate. Otherwise 5/5.

Amazing Headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned a few Sony wireless Bluetooth headphones from the past few years and I have to say these are the best overall package yet. Everything from sound quality, noise cancellation, and usability are just amazing on these headphones. Setup is very straight forward like any other Bluetooth headphone or audio device. These do feature NFC as an additional option for connecting. Once paired you can use the Sony headphone app to control several features from sound quality, noise cancellation settings, and a few buttons for assistants like Google or Alexa. I really have enjoying the touch/swipe controls on the right ear cup. Very intuitive unlike some ways of tapping or having to be precise with the movements, these are pretty forgiving. Having used these for hours now I can say the 30-hour usage rating is probably about right. These do feature a quick charge via USB Type C of 10 minutes to give you up to 60 minutes of play time. My last Sony headphones were still using Micro USB charging so it’s nice to see the switch to the latest USB type. The sound quality is definitely favored toward bass but the app lets you adjust that to your liking. Enabling aptX enables high quality streaming. It is not super noticeable but it does help to get the best audio quality out of the connection. Comfort is good compared to the other Sony headphones I have. The earcups are deeper than the WH-CH700N which leads to a better experience. They are fairly heavy and do tend to hold a bit of heat so usage in warmer environments might pose some uncomfort. I find myself with a little irritation from the cushion on the headband after about an hour of usage. Overall I would highly recommend the Sony WH-XB900N if you are looking for a wireless headphone with superior noise cancellation and great sound quality that can be tailored to your liking.
