These are primarily used with a turntable, and their sound with vinyl is phenomenal, especially since eq settings from the app can be carried over when listening to vinyl. The fit is incredibly comfortable, with soft earcups clamping just right even with glasses. Touch controls are easy to figure out and make usage a breeze.

All around great headphones

I had been flying on planes a whole bunch, and the Apple in-ear headphones would leave me with a serious ear ache after each flight, but these totally changed that. They’re pretty dang sound proof, and they are super comfortable. My only complaint is when it is raining and I have to put my hood up, the hood interferes with the touch controls, but I feel like there is a way I would be able to turn those off in those circumstances. I haven’t tried yet, but I’m hoping. All in all, I’d highly recommend!

Not MDR-XB950B1’s, but Great Quality and Sound

If you have a small head, you might not want these as they don’t fit my wife perfectly, but they fit me perfectly.

great for big heads

But the best thing about these is they reach ears on people with abnormally large heads. I mean seriously if you have a freakishly big head this are the best I tried a bunch of others driving my wife insane purchasing and complaining and refusing buds I wanted the over the ear experience
