Also he does a lot of zoom calls and live webinars and his clients are unable to hear the background noise if he has them on. We got them when they were on sale for Father's Day.

This is definitely worth the money. The base is just awesome. I connect to the phone so I can listen to music and doubles as a work headset. LOVE IT!

They may not be as good as the almost $400 pair but they are for sure #2 in my opinion. The noise cancelling is amazing and works no matter where I am. I also love that when you setup the app and let it use the location access it will remember locations you frequent and adjust the headphones automatically. I highly recommend these and at $200 they all well worth it.

Bluetooth function works well with iOS and Mac. Sound quality is good. Microphone filters out noise from background which works great for video conferencing. Noise cancellation is not great. But of course if that is the requirement you probably want to spend $200 more and get something like the WH-1000XM4

The app allows you to do 3D sound and choose your location in the 3D room. It also allows you to tailor the noise canceling to your specific need; setting it from just a little cancelling to a lot of noise cancelling. You can also adjust the equalizer for the style of music you listen to which is a must because the headphones have a large dynamic range from super deep, resinous lows to sharp, bright highs. The headphones pair over Bluetooth so you can pair them to multiple devices. Battery life is pretty good.

I love headphones (in-ear and over-ear), and this model is up there with the best of them. Price wise this is a great buy. If you like deep bass this it the headphone for you.

I purchased them instead of the 700 due to better comfort, quality feel, sound quality, and features. I purchased a hard case right away for less than $20. It was very surprising and disappointing how short the USB C cable is. It is ridiculously short at only about 6 inches. I purchased a 3 foot one for less than $10. Sony should also have included a small USB power adapter because you don't always have access to a USB port especially when traveling. Plus most wall power outlets are too high off the floor for this very short cable to reach without hanging the headphones in the air. I had an extra power adapter which easily fit into my hard case. I believe these items make living with these headphones easier and would only add a tiny amount to the price. Well worth it and helps confirm the high-quality of the product. They would confirm Sony wants these to be considered as the best for user experience. Small details make the difference.

Then I decided try this one, and finally found a good pair of headphones. Excellent quality/price, excellent sound, good controllers. The materials are... ok. One big defect is that the headphones don’t come with a carrying case. If you don’t have the money for the wh1000xm3, this is a perfect option. You won’t regret it.
