Great buy, great headphones

The sound quality is phenomenal. But i must admit that the deep solid bass can be overwhelming at times. They are "over the ear" model headphones meaning your ears are completely encased. Due to this they get very warm. You may not want these in the summer because your ears would sweat like crazy. But around the house they f'n rock. One must also practice caution when wearing them outside because they cancel noise so well you cant hear cars, sirens, people or animals. Do I like em?.... Oh, yah I do. Do I recommend them?... Highly, (especially because I got mine on holiday sale for 50%off)

The noise canceling is not as good as Bose products but it works good. About the controls for play, pause, etc I don’t feel like they are that easy to use.

I also own a pair of MDR-100ABN, which I think are a step above these, but maybe because I owned those first.

Unfortunately, I think the wireless technology is a bit too technical for him. I don't think he uses them. I did help him set them up and he said they much sounded better than his wired headphones.

I have a pair of AudioTechnica 50xs and some AirPod Max’s to give a reference. Sony’s have quite a lot of bass. It sounds good if you like that. The AirPod Max’s have a “fuller, rounded” bass tone, more precise and articulate. ATs are flat and good reference headphones. Overall good product. FANTASTIC BATTERY!

They are ao soft and comfortable on my ears. They seem to cut out the extra outside noises pretty well. I love that I can just put my palm over the right ear while wearing to quiet the music to answer questions or talk to family members. I'm not an expert and can't give you tons of technical info. I will say I find these very comfortable and I like the way they sound.
