Sound clarity is great. Noise cancelling function works great. Only thing I would change is the volume function. It is not easy for older person to turn volume up or down by swiping the outside of the ear piece.

Good product but did not fit my needs

Also does not have a mute button which I like to have when I am on conference calls. Overall good quality but as I was intending to use this mainly for work this was not a good fit for me and I ended up returning it.

We value your input and appreciate your feedback. Sony takes into consideration all feedback to improve the performance and quality of our products and services. One of the possible solutions to the issue is by updating the firmware of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance. The software update improves the general performance of the unit and includes key features, applications, and bug fixes. For instructions, please visit our website.
For Bluetooth connection issue with your Laptop, if you haven't yet, please try following the steps below to isolate and fix the problem.
• Make sure that your Laptop supports Bluetooth Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) profile for wireless headphones and speakers connection. You may refer to its manual for details.
• Check that the Bluetooth device is turned on and the Bluetooth function is on. Then try to make Bluetooth pairing to the headphones.
- Turn on the headset when you pair the headset with a device for the first time after you bought it or after you initialized the headset (the headset has no pairing information). The headset enters the pairing mode automatically.
- When you pair a 2nd or subsequent device (the headset has pairing information for other devices), press and hold the button for about 7 seconds.
- Check that the blue indicator repeatedly flashes 2 times in a row. You will hear voice guidance “Bluetooth pairing”.
- Turn on the Bluetooth function of your Laptop and select WH-XB900N.
• If the headset automatically connects to the last connected Bluetooth device, you may fail to connect the headset to other devices via the Bluetooth function. In that case, operate the last connected Bluetooth device and disconnect the Bluetooth connection.
