I guess I thought I had 30 days when in fact I had 15 days to return. My goal was to keep the set I just needed to figure out how to work it. I am 74 years old and a lot slow on new electronics. It seems I needed a blue tooth or something other than what I have to accomplish it to work so they offered to take it back even though I was a few days overdue. The clerks were very helpful in explaining to me why it doesn't work in a manner that did not make me feel like the old fool I am.

Make sure that the noise canceling function is turned on.
Adjust the earpad position to fit your ears.
The noise canceling function is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.

Don't Like The Boom

That is very true and using the app to change things up is cumbersome. Also, the battery life was terrible in them.... After a few hours use I would get the "Low Battery" warning even after being fully charged. Going back to my old faithfuls, the Sony WH-CN700N!

There is good news however!
Downloading the Sony Headphones Connect app allows you to get the sound that you prefer, please try the different sound modes found in the Sony Headphones Connect app. There is even an EQ in there—which can be customized to fine-tune your music to your liking.
For available operating time of the unit, the usage hours may be different depending on the settings and conditions of use. Also, when the Equalizer function is used, the playback time will be shorter by about 45% at most. Also, please make sure that your headphones are running on the latest firmware version. The software includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements. Crisp Sound With Heavy Base

Noise-cancelling isn't perfect, but I have never had noise-cancelling headphones before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Took me a few minutes to set up via Bluetooth with my computer. My main gripe is I can't get the pause or skip functions to work with Spotify. I don't know if they would with Pandora. The headphones themselves are extremely comfortable. Good range; I can listen from downstairs, but not quite the basement. The bass is indeed extra. The headphones also seem to be very solidly built; the ear pieces swivel to allow them to lie flat or be packed. Good brand. Highly recommended

Make sure your Bluetooth device supports the device operating function (compatible protocol: AVRCP) to use the touch sensor control panel to perform the following operations.
- Play/Pause: Touch and release immediately, and do it once again with an interval of about 0.4 seconds (Double tap)
- Skip to the beginning of the next track: Swipe forward and release.
- Skip to the beginning of the previous track (or the current track during playback): Swipe backward and release.
