Awesome headphones! Definitely recommend!

I saw these headphones at a retail store at the airport and I tried them on and the airport got super quiet! I was like woe these are so cool! I played some music on them and the sound was crystal clear. I was so impressed I ended up buying some. They are so comfortable and look great. I use them around the house and when I work out. They are also great for travel especially while on flights the noise cancellation is awesome, plus great for watching movies and listening to music. I definitely recommend.

What an amazing set of headphones

Loved the xm4 older model. I didnt think the xm5 would be much of a difference but it turned out to be the subtle diffrrence that made it worth the upgrade. I love Sonys' headphone app. It gives so much control over fine tuning my personal sound and noise cancelation. Something was weird today, the headphones started cutting out sound today and purposely going to aware mode with the noise cancelation. I read up a little on this and found it that it was caused by me talking. Once i setup google assistant on it whenever i talk with somewhat of a loud level it will cut off sound on purpose so i can listen and have a conversation. That to me is a golden feature which sony has included in their programming. Sound is 10/10 Comfort is 10/10 they are light enough to wear all day and not get those ear cuff rings around your head lol. App is 10/10 Overall, to me, Sony has been killing it in this price range of noise cancelling headphones.

At first I was skeptical if the price and quality were worth it. Now I classify this product as an INVESTMENT. The sound quality is amazing, the microphone is out of this world. It's light, and comfortable. Frankly, I'm kind of mad at myself for not buying this sooner !!

I love these headphones, i think they’re worth the investment of how much they are. The sound cancellation is sooo good i was surprised. They’re also very soft & lightweight. So far haven’t needed to charge it more than once either. 10/10!

I love my Sony headphones. Excellent for when I’m in the gym and on the go or if I’m in a private place that I just need to hear the conversation that I’m on the house about the noise that is going on around me and I can focus on the phone call and then when I’m in the gym, I can hear the music loud and clear. I just love them. This is my second pair of the first pair I sat on them and I broke them so I immediately had to get me a new pair and I love them.

Great sound and comfort

After debating between this, and the Bose knows counseling, I went with Sony. I read and compared a lot of tech reviews between both, and even listened through both in person. I will say the noise canceling on this pair for the most part drowns out most of the noise but unless I put the volume up, I can still hear, the gym music. I might have to play with the Settings more I just haven’t. I would say my main gripe with this is if you’re at the gym and you’re laying down or on the bench the headphones do not stay you kind of have to angle it almost on top of your head so it stays on. but I love hearing the music through the headphones. It does sound a little bit better than the Bose but that could just be me. They are really comfortable. I have a lot of ear piercings so comfort level is really important to me.

If you work from home get this headset

I went through at least 6 different headsets. Work from home in a very loud environment. All of them lacked something, either a good microphone that will block the background noise, battery life, not comfortable to wear, or a combination of them. And we have a clear winner. Perfect and smooth calls with no background noise heard for yourself or the person you are talking to (even with a screaming baby by your side) lightweight and comfortable to wear for hours, amazing carrying case, multi-device connectivity and voice control, the Sony headset app has ton of features that you can customize according to your needs, battery life is superb. Definitely worth your money.

They are great quality, noise cancels for the most part and connects to apple iphones automatically once set up is complete! They are not waterproof however you can buy silicone covers on amazon! I wish they were a bit louder but they stay on the head and are very comfortable! I only have needed to charge it once!

Best headphones for noise cancellation

I bought this mainly for their noise cancelling ability because I spend a lot of time on my high rise balcony reading which is very noisy with wind and traffic noise, these headphones virtually eliminate all the noise, I even put them on in N/C mode without music to block out the noise, they are also very comfortable and the hi fidelity is great, I waited to purchase the. Until they went on sale, but if I would have known how good they were I would have purchased them sooner, they greatly outperform any over the ear headphones I have had before

Regarding the accidental "disconnect," it’s possible you might be triggering the Speak-to-Chat or Quick Attention mode by touching the right earcup. These features are designed to let you hear your surroundings quickly, but you can actually customize or disable them in the Sony Headphones Connect app if they’re getting in your way!

Saved up for these and they did not disappoint. The sound quality is so crisp and the ANC really helps make my commute seamless with how noisy the metro can get. The battery life is amazing and I only need to charge it about once a week with every day use.

I like(Love should be reserved for people)these so musch that i have a dedicated sift cloth to clean them after each use). I triethe new bose orior to buying these and took the Sonys instead due to their natural acurate sound. Bise are good too but these are a complete package. Sony's design team really deserve high praise for pulling of a timeless, simple, beautiful, elegant and understated design. This is hard to do. I cannot and will not buy anything else other than Sony, i am completely sold.

Great quality and worth the splurge!

The best pair of headphones I've ever purchased! I bought this for full price. This is rare, I usually only splurge if items are on sale but I needed a pair of quality headphones I could use while studying. The sound dampening is next level, it even beats the Apple Airpod Pros. The quality of the build is lightweight and feels expensive. I also appreciate how well the storage case is. It has a little magnetic compartment to store the cord when not in use. The battery life is phenomenal and will last you well over a week. One downside is that app is annoying and the ability to go from ambient to noise canceling is confusing.

Good until they break within 2 years

At first, I've really LOVED these. They are not as noise canceling as Apple ones, but the weight and price were more suited for my needs. I have been so careful and protective of these, gently removing them and placing them back in their case or each use. I just barely hit 2 years of having them and when I removed pulled them from the case today, a piece of plastic popped into my lap and it's the part where one of the ear cups rotates and so basically they are not usuable. No seal, no ability to even align with the ear in a way that I could use them again. So sad.

Best Headphones, some QoL features not needed.

Great headphones, noise cancelling/ANC works really well. Not the biggest fan of the assistant feature, though you can turn that off within the app as well as some of the other annoying stuff. The touchpad on the headphones (right side) is very sensitive so if you like to lay down with them on I would adjust settings to accommodate. Other than that though they are the best headphones I've had, my favorite feature being that I can connect to two devices at once.

Phenomeal product. I bought these as a replace to the lower tier version I lost on vacation. Pricey but worth it. They are so light, the noise canceling and ambient sound work great and I love being able to switch between my devices, especially while working.

i’ve been looking for new headphones for a while now and these were suggested to me by a best buy employee and i must say they are really good the noise cancellation is top tier and you can control the bass and audio of the music your listening to with the sound connect app. they also fit very comfortably over the ears, would definitely recommend
