So I was excited to see these in the showcase. A sales rep came and got them out for me and I was so happy. I walked up to the counter and low and behold there were 2 more pairs. I was elated since I was able to get my sister and daughter a pair. As I arrived home, the excitement was gone. These are theater headphones. I didnt need these type and had to return. I recommend for someone who would like to use to watch movies but not for me.

I bought these wireless headphones for listening to the TV. It has a switch to make voices clearer. The headphones are adjustable, comfortable, block out some of the outside noise and allow me to hear the TV much better than with the Panasonic sound bar that I bought so I could hear better. I cannot imagine using these without the 'voice' button on. It adds treble. Without the button, the sound is flat. They get a 4-of-5 because I was hoping for even more definition of voices, but they are better than Sharper Image or any others I have used, and so much more comfortable than TV Ears or other in-the-ear headphones.

The sound is good and clear. Has two level setting. 1) is soft with less voice and 2) enhances the voice. They fit tight and eliminate external noise, The down side of the fitting tight is you cannot hear what people are saying to you and they become uncomfortable after extended wearing. Overall they are a good product.

I'm completely indifferent on this headset. On one hand, the headphones are some of the most comfortable I have ever worn, on the other hand, the quality and capability just isn't there for the $120 price tag. The good: The headset is beyond comfortable; there's no need to worry about fatigue if you want to hammer out a few hours of listening/watching. The battery life is also terrific at (a claimed) 20 hours, doubling the run-time of many competing headphones. Setup is very straightforward. The bad: The reception is the biggest issue. Sitting still just six feet away from the transmitter, I will get a brief split-second clipping noise of static interference every 20 seconds or so, which is incredibly distracting. I've tried all three channels with no discernable difference in performance. If you want to walk around the house while enjoying content, forget about it... you'll get continuous static. The sound quality is also quite lackluster, sounding very flat on both ends. Now, I was never expecting comparable performance to something like Sony MDR-7506s (which our family owns two pairs of), but I was expecting more for a Sony device costing $120. There are cheap $20 earbuds out there that have more dynamic sound than these headphones do. It almost seems like Sony exclusively focused on the mids to get vocal clarity for video content and ignored musical consumption. The "voice effect" toggle is also the worst equalization I have ever heard, making voices sound so altered it's not really a vocal enhancment at all. One improvement that needs to happen is the addition of a optical/Toslink input to the transmitter, with full Dolby Digital support (no PCM only rubbish, I want Dolby Digital support since some manufacturers won't let you select PCM output). With many TV manufacturers abandoning analog audio outputs altogether, having a device like this that can only accept analog input seems outdated thinking. Adding optical is a step forward to better integration, and being able to decode Dolby Digital signals over optical would also mean Sony could theoretically isolate vocals from the center channel for their "voice effect" feature. The last parting thing I want to say is the overall fit and finish quality of these headphones leaves a lot to be desired. Out of the box, the right side ear cup actually had a loose piece of something inside of it that would rattle if you moved your head around! Shaking the headphones managed to lodge whatever was lose into a place where it wouldn't rattle. Overall, I'm not impressed and cannot recommend these. I would take a look at equivalent options from Sennheiser if I were to buy again.

These headphones are comfortable to wear and have a much further ranage than previous headphones that I've owned. My last two pair of headphones also had a tendency to have the volume cut out if I moved my head in a particular direction away from the television. Not so with these. The volume and clarity are more than satisfactory. SONY has made a good product.

I now have 2 of these headphones, one for upstairs and 1 for downstairs. One of them I've had for about a year and I am well pleased with it. They have a good range. I can be listening to the TV downstairs and go into the kitchen or even upstairs and it still works.

Second time I've purchased this item, I liked the first iteration so much. My wife is hard of hearing, and she loves this headphone and recommends it to anyone with a hearing deficiency. It's also ridiculously simple to set up, as it's genuinely plug and play technology. It also has excellent range, as it works even when the wearer is in another room.

Bought these as a less expensive alternative to the senheissers which do sound better, but for the price they are quite good. Seems to lose connection sometimes and you have to press the autotune to reconnect.

We tried a couple of other headphones before deciding to spend the money and get the Bose. Well worth it. We use it when talking on the phone, for zoom sessions, and for reducing noise on plan flights, not for listening to music. We've been using them now for several months, pretty often. They are definitely worth the money. In fact, we like them so much that we bought a 2nd pair so my wife and I could both use them. The noise reduction is very good. Not perfect but I'm not sure it's possible to eliminate 100% of outside noise. If the ambient noise is consistent, such as airplane background noise, it's superb. For variable noise such as TVs or talking the headphones reduce the noise considerably. The sound from phone and computer is excellent! I've asked people on zoom calls how clear I sound from the headphone microphone and I've been told it's very clear. Setup and pairing is done through a phone app. After that you actually don't need the app and could even delete it, but you'll need to reinstall it if you want to pair to another device. The app works well. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

Great price point for them and they work really well. Not hard to set up. It’s just very Important to make sure your tv is compatible with them or you’ll need the more expensive ones.

Sound can be heard in any room in the house as well as going outside with headphones. Very easy to hook up. Has a nice base with recharging system. This a quality, well made product that will last a long f time. It can allow your spouse to talk on the phone or read while you listen in your own privacy. Worth the price of 119.99. I highly recommend these headphones.

This is the second one I have purchased. The first one lasted 21/2 years and just disinter grated in my hands looks like cheap recycled material. I had intermittent trouble with the sound. This new one purchase seems to great sounds good can even go in the yard with no breakup Battery last and got it at a great price!
