The sound was full and Crystal Clear. There was no comparison, the Sony's way outmatched what came with the product. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Sometimes the speakers on my laptop aren't loud enough, and these help me to hear everyone in my class. I usually only wear the left ear, and everyone can hear me well when I speak also.
