I've bought about 4 pairs of these headphones over a few years they're durable 1st pair lasted me 2 years very heavy use at home and work, they sound amazing for what i like to listen to which is bass heavy like joyner lucas, busta, em, spm and they also sound great listening to mexican cumbias and corridos like chalino, Ramon ayala, banda machos, I listen to rock as well like tool, staind and a little manson these earbuds never done me wrong ive lost a couple pairs had 1 pair fly off my dash out the window on the freeway lol i went back for them and still worked, never had the sound go out on me ever on any pair. I always come back to these for the sound obv and the price to quality ratio cant be beat these make Dre beats sound like dollar store buds. The negatives are the angle of the jack isn't a straight one and not an issue for me but the bud drivers are pretty big so may be uncomfortable for some but the size of them are what make them sound so good so its a personal choice more than a neg. Anyways try them out they wont disappoint.

I've bought this model of wired headphones for years, the sound is full and superb,the bass is just right, no tinney sound here and the price is very reasonable.

Bought these for my gym session or when I don’t feel like having my Steel Series Artist Pro on while gaming. For the price the sound quality is amazing not to mention the bass. They are also very comfortable and I find myself wearing these for my Audio books and even fall asleep with them on without discomfort. If your looking for a cheap earbuds that still offer decent premium sound quality this is it! The price of admission is well worth. I won’t feel bad if I break these or loose them.

Excellent sound with a Samsung A12. Comfortable as any ear plug could be. Good ear plug headphone for a good price. If you don't want a bluetooth ear piece head phone, then this is the one to get.

I use mine with an MP-3 player at a noisy gym. Good sound quality and comfortable. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Comfortable and sounds great. Stays in during moderate activity.

Excellent sounding. Great bass responce. Multiple tips for different sized ears. Note*-if you do not push into ear canal and run wire up over and behind the ear, you will not get experience the true sound of these earbuds. With the wire pointed up @ 10:00 position, push bud into canal as far as is comfortable. If loose fitting or uncomfortable- change the included rubber earbud tip.

I haven't used wired headphones in a whiiiiillle and these headphones actually surprised me with the sound quality. I got these initially for work purposes, but I ended up using it to listen to some music on the computer at work instead of actually working... I has some good bass which surprised me since these are wired headphones.

I love these Buds. Loud bass, microphone with a button for controlling what you are listening to. I leave the EQ set to factory settings because they sound great right out of the box! I went through 4 Blue Tooth Ear Buds before this. My phone is too old with it's Bluetooth Version being 5.0. I'm happy that I found these and the price can't be beat!

I recently bought a Walkman to decouple music listening from my IPhone since all those FLAC and high res music collection was pointless listening through an Iphone with Air pods Pro and also get away from constant emails and notifications. I could see a major difference when I switch over to my desktop DAC AMP setup with HD 560s, DT 770 and Philips X2s. My Sony 1000xm3 over LDAC caught up well with the wired combinations but it was too bulky. Being away from wired earphones for a while, I went through an old box which had Bose sound sports (the most comfortable earphones) , CX300 and then found an old Sony XB75 earphones . I listened to each of them with the new Walkman and I was surprised the old XB75 though had intermittent connection on left side produced some fun but not flat sound signature. So I bought this pair which looks very close the XB75 . Sony Walkman paired with XB55 is a perfect combination. Great frequency range (high res coverage) , fun sound signature with clean bass without killing the mid and highs. I would say the highs are not at the top but the overall it balances out without killing the overall feel. If you want a good pair of low impedance earphones with some extra fun bass without killing mids and highs.. this is it ! Im impressed how it drives the sound under $50 . Simply put this earphone is not for bass heads , it’s for folks who listen to music with a bit of bass to bring that fun factor to a flat signal . And I bet this will last me another 6 yrs plus if I don’t abuse it.

I am a commuter into the city everyday with an hour and a half commute. Our head phones are incredibly important to us. Whether we are listening to music, podcasts, flipping through reels or just drowning out back ground noise. Most commuters go to is wireless headphones. Unfortunately I don’t do too well with them. Always losing ONE of them and having to buy new pairs. It’s an expensive habit :) so I have gone back to wired. I’d hate to admit it, but this also keeps me accountable for my cell phone since there is a wire attached to it. No phones left behind. So the head phones- I was skeptical of the extra bass claim. But these head phones, they’re crisp and clear. I am not sure I realized how bad my previous ones really were. Music is so much better, and the volume can be lower when listening to things because I can actually hear what they’re saying. If you’re on the fence, these were a great investment, buy the head phones!!

Very few choices left for my CD player or iPod, but this is a good one. Sony is good quality and the price was right. I also was able to use my points for an extra $5.00 off the purchase. I walked out satisfied and happy with the performance on my bike rides.

Great sounding wired earbuds. I used them as an alternative to Bluetooth when they are drained of battery. I picked these over the others because of the extra bass. If you like bass then these are perfect for you. The carrying pouch is also super convenient.

These are pretty solid earbuds. They are a reasonable price (not super expensive but not dollar store price and are usually on discount for $29.99) for the quality you get. The sound quality is very good and I hardly ever have to turn my volume up over the halfway point when using these. I use headphones constantly, almost everyday, for at least 5 hours, and, in my experience, these headphones will usually last you about a year without issues. The most common thing that happens after that is that the audio will either drop quality in one earbud, or the pause/play button that also activates Siri (or whatever phone aide you have) will activate on its own when the wire is moved. Regardless, I have bought the previous models of these headphones at Best Buy for a little over 7 years, and as long as Sony makes them I'll keep getting them.

Great sound and worth the price on sale. I purchased this with the $20 off sale, and I've bought two extra sets. I have one set connected to my docking station for work, and the best part is that I don't have to charge anything. The other set is for my Mac Mini, and I like being able to have private conversations so that the sound doesn't have to go in and out of the [pretty weak] OEM speakers. This set is on my PS5 controller, and the sound is great for CoD as I can hear footsteps really well. Play with the in-game sound settings, and the sound is amazing. I've connected these to my iPhone with the lightning adapter, and they sound great as well. All in all, a good buy!

No match for Sony for sure. The moment I received the headphones, I tried so many different kind of music with different beats and different instrument. It is outstanding. I was looking for noise cancelling ear phones but these do the job. So melodious you can feel the difference with simple headphones and extra bass sony. Beautiful electric blue color. Very Highly Recommended. Enjoy it!

Picked these up a few weeks ago on a whim, my previous pair of AKG headphones failed and I saw these on Bestbuy.com and the price was reasonable. I didn't expect a lot for the price but needed something quickly for my online classes. I was surprised at the level of comfort they provide at this price point, I was also really surprised at the sound level these provide as well as the quality of the sound (especially the bass). You could probably do better if you wanted to spend more but for the price these are an excellent value.

I like bass in music when it’s originally in the recording or mix. I don’t understand how it works exactly but, compared to regular Apple earbuds, these Sony buds sound like an old rattletrap 70’s Buick with a subwoofer and an amp in the trunk as far as intensity of bass goes; comparatively of course. Sony headphones have never disappointed me before and these are no exception. They are fairly comfortable feeling to wear and do have a little bit of isolation to them. I’m not sure how they’d feel in your ears for more than a couple of hours at a time but, if I have a 4+ hour marathon, I’ll try to update this review later.
