This small portable speaker is very mighty! We listened to a few in store and this was the best small inexpensive speaker. Battery life is great and connectivity is smooth. No complaints so far! I enjoy it a lot and it’s very loud with clear audio.

Compact and waterproof, this is an insanely great Bluetooth speaker. It has far more mid and bass than you would expect from such a small package. Battery life? I generally forget about charging it - it lasts a long time.

I recently purchased the Sony - XB100 Compact Bluetooth Speaker and have been extremely pleased with its performance. The Bluetooth connectivity is seamless, and the sound quality is superb, which is perfect for playing calming Disney piano tracks for my newborn. The compact size makes it easy to place the speaker anywhere in the house, it also has a strap that can be used to attach to a stroller. The audio output is robust enough to fill a room. Its long-lasting battery life is another feature that adds convenience, especially when you have a baby and can't be bothered to charge devices frequently. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 is that I wish it had a few more control options directly on the speaker. Otherwise, it's an excellent product that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and high-quality Bluetooth speaker.

Great little speaker. This thing is perfect everything from hanging around the pool to listening to some tunes while your golfing. Its small, light, and super easy to hook up.

This speaker was very easy to install, and connect to bluetooth. Although it is small, it has a very beautiful sound and is nice to listen too, with a very clear audio. Also the price was right.

This is a really nice product. It paired nicely with my new Sony A95L 77" TV. With the BRAVIA Theater Quad attached to the TV via HDMI, the XB100 paired via Blue Tooth. The two provide output simultaneously so I can use the XB100 to listen in the kitchen, bathroom or elsewhere in the house while others watch and listen in the Family Room. Both the Theater Quad and XB100 show up when I use the volume control on the remote control. I can move control from one to the other by moving up or down on the small listing at the bottom of the TV screen. ...really nice display and control function... The sound output quality of the SB100 is really great for such a small and highly portable package.

I love my Sony speaker! I needed a replacement for my shower speaker that had quit holding a charge, and this speaker is perfect. Great sound quality! Waterproof!

The color options appear more vivid, though limited choices this time (4 colors instead of 6 of the previous model), but the powering up and down sounds are more of a melodic beat sound with base vs a two tone type of beeps on previous older models. Also theres more of a texture of horizontal lines all around on this new model which adds some grip and feel opposed to smooth. The strap system is pretty much the same all throughout, very secure and easy to remove. Loud enough sound and I will use this for mostly when biking around (which I strap around the handlebars but also fits in a mounted cup holder, which might scratch up the finish so may have to wrap something foamy around the cup holder) making my presence nearby in addition to my bike bell. Other times will be for having music on while working on the gardens and other tasks, or at the park for a picnic. Easy access for charging ports and led indicators for charging and pairing/paired/connected to Bluetooth. Will plan on using for Halloween for passing candy outside for spooky sound atmosphere.

Great sound for it's size and the placement of the speaker on top is a plus for these minis. It fits in most bottle holders and the adjustable strap is great for attaching to various items. Unlike its predecessor the XB13 (which I also own) the 100 can be turned off via the Sony MUSIC app though it lacks equalizer/sound adjustment like its larger cousins. Sony keeps improving ergonomics, sound quality and functionality with each new generation.

Small and good-looking, with surprisingly cromulent audio to boot. This thing gets loud enough, but what's really amazing about it to me is it gets quiet enough and with enough dynamic range to use as a personal listening device — you can have this thing on at low volumes and barely hear it five feet away, so frequently I've been using it to listen to podcasts or something at night close to my pillow without disturbing anyone else in the house. It's got quite a bit of bass, which is where all the low-volume power is coming from, and while there's a bit of a noise floor at those low volumes it sounds very serviceable for a tiny speaker you could swing around on your wrist. Excellent buy.

The Sony XB100 is a fantastic portable speaker! Impressive sound quality for its size, great battery life, and a durable design make it perfect for on-the-go music. Bluetooth pairing is seamless. Highly recommend for anyone needing a compact yet powerful speaker!

I use this to keep my cellphone speaker in good shape, it works and sounds pretty good, also the battery has good usage time. It has had a few falls, but it hasn't affected its use.

Amazing speaker and sound for the price. Bought this thing for my car as my speaker system recently went out. This was supposed to be a simple solution to a kind of quick fix but I found myself wanting to use this thing still. Fits perfectly in the cup holder of your vehicle. Sound is great, battery life is really good (even on louder volumes and settings). The app that is used to control the speaker is easy to use, though it’s just as easy to control the speaker manually or with your phone too. Overall, amazing quality and purchase for the price!
