The sound quality is good and it cancels out most noise. It rarely disconnects from the receiver for a brief moment.

This is a second pair of Sony headphones I bought to give as a present and just like before, it didn't disappoint. It delivers a powerful sound and clarity at an affordable price. The design and color are stylish and its light weight allows you to take it with you everywhere you go.

I hadn't had any preset plans on a particular headphones, only that I wanted ones that are comfortable on the ears and cancel out any extra sound. By fantastic luck, these were on sale and do exactly what I was looking for. The sound cancellation is pretty decent and great sound within. Though the headphones are a bit on the large side, you can turn the speakers flat so it can at least store more easily. To be quite honest, I haven't noticed the extra bass, but at the same time, that wasn't a priority to begin with. Overall, a good buy and I get what I needed.

They aren't noise cancelling. That was why I dinged a star, but other than that they're great headphones. I've had them for a few weeks and the sound is great, especially if you're listening to a lot of music with bass in it. They're not very good if you're listening to soft and ambient music though.

I WAS LOOKING FOR A QUALITY PAIR OF HEAD PHONES AT A REASONABLE PRICE. THESE FIT THE CRITERIA VERY WELL.

Got them for my mum who wanted more bass. This is noise cancelling and has good bass. I have an older model and both are really good. I'm not expert in sound, so if you really need to understand what "good bass" means, you'll have to go into the store and try them yourself!

Sony has kind of fallen a little backwards as more millennial-and-teen-oriented brands have come to the forefront; but they still make some of the best headphones out there (watch what you see the pros using on tv). If you listen to EDM or hip-hop, you will love these as the bass is thunderous-- you may even have to EQ some of it out. Good construction, quality headphone for 1/2 the price of Beats or any other mid-range headphone...

Sounds good for the price. I enjoy them. The sound quality is good and they are Sony so can't go wrong.

I needed a good pair of headphones and I am glad I chose these. I use these with my laptop and my smartphone with no problems at all. The sound is completely clear and comes through loud. These are also comfortable to wear on your head. Happy with my purchase

My son says they are great. Loves the sound quality and that it blocks out surrounding noise.

It does the job at a good price. Clear sound and comfortable to wear. Hopefully it will last a few years. No batteries needed and all the family members can use this product. I may get a second pair for the gym and for work so that I do not need to carry them around.
