Great Combo of Quality/Value

Battery life is awesome, too. Since that event, we’ve taken it all kinds of places and it’s been great. Definitely an excellent speaker for the price and miles better than any of the cheaper Bluetooth speakers we’ve purchased in the past.

People hanging out around our tent would ask, puzzled look on their faces "where's that music coming from?" and i'd point to this little guy, and they would be confused that something this size could put out such great sound. Super easy to use, and holds a decent charge. Would 100% buy again!

Great sound quality with deep bass that has a notable difference between other Speakers/Brands of the same size (i.e. JBL Charge, UE Megaboom). Ive used it by the pool, at the beach, and indoors and sounds travels a lot further than expected, great speaker and quality for the price!

Small speaker big sound

Wasn't too sure about the "diffuser" but honestly even with such a small slit it manages to sound so good at most angles.. Love this little thing! Battery life is great too!

Well built, water resistant, ample sound horizon, simple connection to our music library through the iPhone; seems to have a healthy battery capacity as well. I got it on sale (thanks BestBuy helper!) so it was a reasonable cost and a good value.

The bass is clear and balanced even at low volumes (like 10% volume) which is great and perfect as that gives the music so much character and it’s perfect to experience it without having to blast the music. The sound is mostly crisp. I left it at the default setting in the music center app and it sounds absolutely fine. Midrange levels are clear. At high volumes, you are only going to be interested in the sound and not the clarity of the music which is what it does. A single speaker was good enough for me but I’m sure a pair will make a great stereo system. I highly recommend this to those who prefer clarity of music over color of music.

Solid Budget Wireless Speaker

The sound quality is exceptional for the price. 99% of people will be unable to hear a difference between this Sony speaker and a Bose speaker at triple the price. I removed a star because of its stereo connectivity to another identical speaker. Using Sony’s proprietary music app, you are able to connect two together via Bluetooth for stereo play, however, I found that after approximately one hour, one of the two speakers would start popping and cutting out. I returned the suspect speaker and the same thing happened with the new one, which tells me it’s an inherent issue with the hardware. Firmware was up to date and the speakers were fully charged and not moving relative to the mobile device. You may or may not encounter the same issue.

While we're glad that you like most of the features, we are sorry to hear you're having some audio cut out issue when using stereo pair function. Sound interruption may occur in the [AUTO] (Priority on sound quality) mode, depending on the setting of your BLUETOOTH device and ambient conditions. If you haven't yet, please try the following troubleshooting steps below to isolate the issue.
The situation may be improved by changing the wireless playback quality settings or fixing the wireless playback mode to SBC on the transmitting device. Tracks recorded in high resolution may also affect the Bluetooth communication due to its large capacity. Switch the playback quality (codec) to Priority on stable connection.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony brings some impressive, room filling sound in this medium sized portable speaker. Out of the box it works wonderfully but the lows are something left to be desired. Some tweaking with the EQ in Sony’s Music Center app certainly helps but I feel the best use for this speaker is without trying to drive lower notes too much. Although, I suspect that with some breaking in time the drivers will sound better. Regardless of what you are playing, this speaker can fill a room with high-quality low-level sound. The rugged outer shell provides an excellent grip on the unit. Taking it from my desk as a desktop speaker/intercom for meetings to my backyard to either continue a meeting or just to listen to music or news is flawless. And I don’t need to worry about it getting wet from a sprinkler or a hose while I’m out there with its impressive IP67 waterproof rating. Said rating allows for submersion of this speaker under 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. I don’t recommend testing this, but it is nice to know just how much water it can take on without getting damaged. That is well within the operating environment I plan to use this in.

It is very user friendly and easy to connect to my devices. Is absolutely necessary and the sound carries well while I’m in the shower. Great budget friendly option for a good Bluetooth speaker. It works no matter where I am in the house, and doesn’t need charged too often. But when it does it gives me plenty of fair warning. Sometimes the sound can be a little muffled, but it’s okay because it balances well in small spaces that way. Very happy with this purchase. Would recommend.

Liked champ lasted the entire time on an 8-hour trip. Waterproof works didn't go deeper than 4 ft but handle dirt and water like a champ the sound didn't change or get worst love sony
