The sound may become low in the following cases. This is not a malfunction.
-While the speaker is running on power from the rechargeable built-in battery, the sound may become low in the event that the rechargeable built-in battery is running out of power and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly.
-When the ambient temperature of the speaker is high.
For optimum performance, make sure to charge the built-in battery sufficiently.

On a good day with the light function turned off and at less than half volume itll maybe last 13 hour's. At 75% volume with The LDAC bluetooth codec with no lights ive maybe gotten 8 to 9 hours? Besides that its a really solid speaker.
