This speaker is great! The sound is clear and has good bass. The battery lasts a long time, and it’s easy to carry around. The Bluetooth works well without any problems. I recommend it!

This speaker is perfect for just about anywhere. Crystal clear sound and mega bass booster. It is lightweight which makes it easy to take with you places. Waterproof feature make it great for the both the pool and the beach! Battery seems to last a very long time. We used it all long for a baseball tournament and did not need to charge it!

I'll start off by saying that this speaker is really really good for the size and price when you buy it on sale. But tbh, it's not great. The speaker has a really nice (somewhat) balanced sound. For a speaker at this price range and size, the bass is decent, and the mids and highs come come out clearly across various volume level. If you really want really deep bass, get something different. But if you want a good sounding bass without being overwhelming, then this speaker is really good for that. I just wish it could also pump out the deeper bass if we wanted to...the Megabass kind of helps but then changes the sound profile of the mids and highs. The Sony app is a really capable app and has decent customization. As for the side lights, that did not influence me one way or another. I do appreciate that Sony still has an aux input. My daughter plugs in her dj controller into this speaker to practice, which is perfect for moving room to room around the house.

The overall size and weight is very manageable. The sound quality surprised me at first being very very good. It is very simple to navigate all the feature andbthe battery life is very good. I intend on buying another one to chain together with this one for our back yard gatherings.

Excellent speaker from Sony. A lot of base, and gets very loud. I mostly tested it indoors, and it's pretty adequate for a 1200-1300sqft area. It has more of a warm sound signature (with a weaker treble range making it sound a bit muffled to some ears) compared to that of for example JBL line-up, but I like how it sounds nonetheless. Excellent build quality, nice to handle and touch. Battery life is also great. The only minor complaint is that although it has a USB port, it's only for charging. You cannot plug your drive and play your songs from it directly, which may not matter to a lot of people as everybody is using their speakers via their phone's BT.

The sound quality is pretty good. I have it connected with a couple other Sony speakers for party affect. Work great as a unison. The only problem I suppose is the base. If your looking for THUMPING base, this isn't for you. However if you want a clean sounding base that compliments the sound and not over power it. Then this speaker is PERFECT. That is the sound Iike, a clean sounding speaker, and this speaker nailed that perfectly. There is one thing that I actually don't like. The lights on it. You can have them of or on. When they are on, they change color. I would prefer a clean blue or be able to choose. The constant change of colors are distracting and sort of childish. I don't consider this a children speaker, so that changing of colors doesn't make any since, there is no use for that. Just my humble opinion

Recived as a Xmas present from the wife, out of the box looks great plugged in with included charger and cord . Looks awesome with the lights on each end pulsing to the music. Included apps to change light settings and sounds while playing your favorite tunes was a Plus also being able to add people (party mode) and play soongs from there phone/ playlist was a pretty cool function ast we’ll . Bluetooth also lets you talk over speaker while doing tasks in the yard should you get a phone call , you can add a microphone for Karaoke , pretty cool feature.. cloth exterior, nice touch easy to clean. A full charge last me for days , even at a new years party playing at 4+ hours with lights. All in all A+ from this 80’s DJ

For $140 on sale this speaker is a steal. I work in a kitchen and was going to replace my Sony XB33 due to battery not holding a charge but this connects through the app and I now use both speakers for a surround sound feel in the kitchen. Sound quality is great, bass is the same as in store, battery life is 10hrs+, and has yet to disappoint. Would recommend over the JBL equivalent when on said sale.

Wasnt sure what to expect but this speaker delivers! Sound is amazing and fills a room very easily! I personally work constructiin and bring this with me and it is clear over the nkise of nail guns and other loud noises! It also stays charged for quite a while considering the output!

speaker is great, has great sound, music is crisp & clear, with nice bass, also is very loud and light easy to carry around and battery actually last longer than what is stated in manual.

I bought the XG300 to use around our pool without a lot of worry about splashes. And it quickly has become the favorite grab and go speaker in my house. At first listen we were disappointedat the base, but the speaker was sitting in a padded couch arm. As soon as we set it on a hard surface, it was a game changer. This is not going to have the same big sound as the XP500 or XV900 or an XB7, but it's still a full rich sound with great battery life, and enough volume for outdoor listening. We've had it at the lake, on a boat, and at our pool and the water had had no effect so far. I like that multiple people can be connected to it at once.

Great sound. I’ve used it for professional purposes like a presentation in a large conference/ballroom as well as personal use indoors/outdoors. Volume has never been a problem. Probably most impressed with how well the battery holds a charge. It’s still running off its first charge which was more than a month ago (infrequent use). Very easy to connect to via Bluetooth. And the size is perfect. The lights are an added bonus.

You can always find a speaker that looks similar on Amazon or elsewhere often as a brand you have never heard of. This Sony speaker shows the difference between them and premium sound. Speaker has incredible bass and clarity for being a portable device. I have not cranked the volume up to the max as I have not needed to - it can easily be enjoyed playing in a room and heard throughout the house. I was able to buy mine on sale for $150 which was a bargain for the quality and enjoymentment of the sound. I cannot wait for summertime to bring this along with me next to the pool or on the beach

Pretty dang good speaker. Of all of the many portable speakers that I have owned, I would say the XG300 is my favorite. The sound quality is awesome and despite it's somewhat big size, it is actually pretty portable. The connectivity is great too and of course this speaker can get LOUD. I recommend this speaker to a lot of people.

The SRS-XG300 X-Series Wireless Portable-Bluetooth Party-Speaker is a good speaker, but not a great one. The RGB lights are nice. Sony's XG300 does sound good, but it seems to be lacking the bass I thought that a $350 Bluetooth Speaker from Sony would have more depth to its sound. The highs and mids sound great. There is no distortion that I've heard. There is a Mega Bass button, but I an not a fan of it. When used, the bass does cutout and everything is brightened up. The Sony Music app lets you control a lot. EQ, RGB lights, the functionality of the Mega Bass button itself, and more. I am not disappointed per say, just shocked that the bass in this speaker is only mediocre. Comparing it to some other notable Bluetooth speakers in the same price range or less, the Sony XG300 doesn't add up for me. If the price were around $250 I could see the value. Out of the box, the speaker sounds muffled. I had to adjust the EQ to enjoy the speaker. It does have volume though. I took it to the pool, and was able to hear it clearly from every angle. I was happy about that.

I have had more speakers than I can count. I was in the market for a new one recently and had no clue where to start. After several YouTube videos and talking with some employees I landed on this one and I couldn’t be more thankful. The battery life is incredible and the bass is unreal for its size. It’s super convenient to travel with due to the built in collapsible handle. You can charge your phone, turn off the bass mode, and link to another speaker. This is the best speaker I have ever owned and would buy it time and time again.

Put this speaker in my garage/workout area. Great sound - loud enough that I need to be aware how loud it is to my neighbors. Sound is clear regardless of volume. Charged it the first time, then used it for 15-20 hours before it needed another charge (I don't know exactly how long - I just know I used it for an 1+ each day for 2 weeks before it told me it needed a recharge!). Not sure if I would have paid full price ($350+/-) for it but for the $150 I paid, it is one of the best purchase I've made in a long time.
