Just the right amount of Bass and Treble. I was amazed at how good it looks and sounds and has some decent weight to it. Battery life seems to be holding up quite well. The previous speaker was only able to be charged by USB. This phenom can operate by direct current or cordless. In addition, the play life boasts 30 hours. I haven't played it that long yet but I wouldn't doubt it could definitely play for a double digit hour count. The sound is so crisp that you get the feel of being in a concert except with better acoustics. No buyers remorse here!

As soon as I heard this thing, I was sold on it. It literally took 2 seconds. Wasn't even in the store for a speaker. Great for camping and around the swimming pool. I think you can link up to 100, not sure why you would do that, but it would be very cool. Don't listen if you don't intend to buy. I highly recommend this speaker.

I upgraded to the 800 only reason is the speaker on the side are to tempting for the little ones. I do plan on pairing this one up with the 800 and keeping it up high. The 500 is super clean sound with good highs and the 800 is super loud with big base so the combo should be amazing.
