What initially was intended as a temporary solution to our professional level speakers not working, have become preferred tools for presenting, partying, and general listening. They offer clarity of sound in smaller spaces, and dynamic sound that fills very large ones. That they pair together and allow multiple devices to be connected make them that much better.

Excellent for backyard parties and karoake

Great value if you can buy this when its on sale. I tried karoake and was ok. Especially with the Sony dual mic set

I've been using the Sony XP700 Portable Bluetooth Party Speaker, and it's an absolute beast! The sound is powerful, crystal clear, and the bass is insane, especially with the Mega Bass feature. I use it for gatherings, BBQs, and even by the pool, thanks to its water resistance (IPX4). :) PROS: Massive, immersive sound with deep bass. LED lights that create a party atmosphere. Up to 25 hours of battery life wow. Stable Bluetooth connection, USB port, and AUX input. Can be used vertically or horizontally. Perfect for indoor and outdoor use. I have considered upgrading to the 900 but there is considerable size difference. While the XP700 is large it is still manageable and easy to move around. I recently used both speakers on a Mardi Gras float and the sound was loud, the bass was driving, and I ran both speakers (paired in the Sony Music app) at about 95% volume for almost two hours and still had about 80% battery remaining. Zero distortion and no clipping. I also used both speakers at a chili cook-off back in November and the weather turned and a light rain ended all of the music from all booths as well as the public address system since all were exposed to the elements and most required electricity. Our booth kept on rocking so we turned it up so everyone could enjoy some music. If I were sure my wife wouldn't kill me I'd consider adding two more speakers but... These do not have the low end power of a large electric powered JBL Party Box and the highs are not as crisp as I would prefer but it's exactly what I was looking for...portable and battery powered. I highly recommend going to a store to check out all of the available options.

This speaker can provide high quality sound for any outdoor activity. Indoor use is just as excellent. The only thing more that I'd like in this speaker is a better output in the higher frequencies

Excellent Speaker

Also like the fact that it can be operated on AC power or several hours on full charge when going portable. A nice surprise is that during use, there is a verbal alert to charge soon instead of just shutting down without warning. I have not tested the Bluetooth range limit.

Compatibility with other sony speakers is amazing and comes in handy will definitley stick to this speaker for a while bass. The bass is not the best still good but could be better when its at max volume other than that nothing really bad with it its a good speaker overall.

The sound carries well throughout our 1/3 acre yard and carries throughout our 4,000 square ft home. It lights up which is nice in the evening. Charging the speaker is quick and lasts for about 20 hours or so. It pairs easily with all our phones. We are very happy with it and highly recommend
