Great phone for Android fans who want something different than Samsung. Camera features, easy data transfer, and no extra bloatware from the manufacturer.

I switchrd from an iPhone to this, I was afraid I will not get used to it. Actually the transition is easy and this phone is very good. I love the camera and the speaker. Enjoyed very much!

The Sony Xperia 1 III is a good solid phone. It has a great looking screen and scrolls smoothly. Feels great in your hand and I love the thumb sensor being on the home button like the Galaxy Z Flip. Battery life is good, and I get an easy 24 hr. usage out of a charge. The charger that comes with it charges really fast, so less waiting. I hope Sony offers an Android 12 upgrade soon cause I'd to see how it runs on that ! Xperia 1 III is a true Flagship phone hands down. I really liked it !

Youll hear a lot of people say that there are better options for phones or that this is overpriced. You may even be swayed to ignore them because you're different or think those features that this has - the headphone jack, the cameras, the microSD, the stereo speakers in the bezel, the notification LED - are enough for you to take a stab at it. But please, sincerely, don't. The camera is not good enough unless you tinker heavily with the settings for it to be worth $1300. The stereo speakers are AT LEAST 30% quieter than the last Galaxy I owned (Note 10+). The bezel is ugly with all of these bezelless phones these days. The side sense feature for some reason disables while in a phone call, and phone calls force a Facebook Messenger-esque Bubble on your screen. The very narrow and long body is also useless for video consumption (pair that with the very low volume). The screen is also abysmally dim - possible due to being OLED, so decide for yourself if the low brightness is worth those more accurate deep colors. And yes, you can't knock the microSD card slot or the headphone jack, but given everything else, do you really want this to be your phone? I've had flagships for several years and this will be the first one I've hated to the point I'm returning it. It's a sexy phone - don't get me wrong. But it's not for me, and for every aspect of it except if you despise bezels and stuff, Samsung and Apple just do it better. Pick a Galaxy. Pick an iPhone. But until Sony picks up the slack, don't pick Xperia.

Best cell phone I have ever owned....and I had them all. The screen with 4k is something to behold. The device is well crafted and responsive. I have no regrets and (so far) no problems.

This is my second Sony phone. I had to update from the Xperia XZ2 Premium due to the AT&T 3G discontinuation. No issues very light great screen I enjoy all features. Plug and play when I fired it up took only a few minutes to transfer everything from other phone over.

This phone is pretty horrible. It's got great specs but they are wasted because it randomly stops detecting screen touches, which prevents you from ending calls or even restarting without using the hardware keys to force it off (A work around is to plug in a USB dongle and mouse to interact with it). Bluetooth range and connections are horrible, multi-task view doesn't work 3/4 of the time, and it does not support call waiting on ATT. After several OS updates, none of these issues are fixed. The cameras, while supposedly amazing, have very poor autofocus and most takes are blurry because it loses focus between tapping the focus area and hitting the shutter button.

I RECEIVED MY PHONE A WEEK AFTER I ORDERED IT AT THE LOCAL STORE. I WAS SURPRISED SHIPPING WAS THAT FAST AS THE WEBSITE SAID SOLD OUT. SO FAR THE PHONE HAS BEEN GREAT IT TOOK A LITTLE BIT FOR THE BEST BUY TECH TO TRANSFER MY DATA OVER FROM AN OLDER SONY XPERIA PHONE, BUT OTHER THEN THAT, THE SPEED IS SUPER FAST AND THE STORAGE CAPABILITY IS AWESOME. THE BATTERY LIFE LASTS ME ALL DAY AND THEN SOME. THE FREE HEADPHONES DIDN'T COME WITH THE PHONE BUT I GOT ONLINE WITH BEST BUY AND THEY SENT THEM OUT QUICKLY. SO ALL IN ALL I'VE BEEN PLEASED.

I always regretted giving up my Experia 1-ii for the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. The Sony just fits better in my hand and the screen is amazing. I'd say the only negative might be the battery doesn't last as long as the Samsung. But, luckily it charges up super fast if you need to top it off for a busy day. Overall I am very happy with this phone.

Great phone with a big screen and a the ability to use one handed because of it's 21:9 screen size. More than full day use when not playing games all day.
