Before I start off. I wanted to say I got this phone because I’m done with iPhones. My latest one is an XS Max and I love it because of its design, 3D Touch, OLED (yeah the newer ones still have it but..) I’m one of those people that isnt into trends like “Oh look the new iPhone came out or Did you see the latest Samsung Galaxy” No... I want a phone that has good hardware and that sets me apart from the common folk. Im only going to say it once...I believe this phone is for honest people, people who keep it real, 100% all the time and keep moving forward in the hardest of times. You are people I can trust if you have this phone. I initally was trying to get it at Best Buy but they cancelled it because it got out of stock... I went to Adorama and gave it a shot there and I finally have it. Almost everything about it made me fall in love with it. SONY keeps it real, they hear you, they know what the consumer wants, this is top Japanese quality on your hand. What they say about camera quality, it is SUPERB, it looks “washed out” because there is NO overprocessing/oversaturation like on iPhones. I’ll soon slap a 256 microSD for more space and with its proprietary LDAC the sound is out of this world with the 1000XM3 and the 900XB. Im sure with other headphones itll sound great. I also love the phone for its notchless/hole punchless display, its satisfaction to my eyes. Movies on the device is tears of joy to my eyes because its 4K on 21:9 aspect ratio its almost unreal. You want 120hz? 60hz feels smooth enough you might see little difference when 120hz is on. I preferably keep 120hz off because 60hz is smooth enough for me. The thing that sets me of is to bad Sony doesnt make its own proprietary Xperia OS or something based of other sony products that ISNT google related because by force it has to be android... Not that I have a bad relationship with it, I do admire Android for its open environment unlike Apple’s iOS. Whats that? You said you have a sony speaker like the XB41...what? You have two?! Again....the sound is out of this world... I havent fully tested the camera’s out but they look spectacular once I fully armored my phone. Same goes for the phone carriers. I have AT&T and am going to check if it works with them.

I've never had a phone get so hot. My Xperia 5 Mk1 was kind of the same way but this thing I swear is going to catch on fire. I've had it now for about 6 months and it's very buggy my Xperia 5 was the best phone I ever owned! I can't say this one is. It definitely needs an update or something to fix the issues with being on call then hitting the home button and opening another app only for the phone to hang up the call.

I just put the 2nd SIM card in my Sony Xperia 1 iii phone. Both nano SIMs are from Verizon and both are working. One on a personal account and the other on a business account. No more carrying around 2 phones. This is a great phone and I would highly recommend it.

Hi I have had this Sony Xperia 1iii phone for a couple of weeks did not like it why? Display: Screen to body ratio should be 92% No Optically bonded display - anti-glare touchscreen - helpful in the sunshine Brightness: Screen needs to be 1700 nits (peak) No 360Hz display touch sampling rate needs to be more responsive from a competitive gaming perspective. Back Camera recording: No Up to 8K@120 FPS Back camera should come with: 50 MP, F/2.0 (wide) 50 MP, F/22 (TP) 50 MP, F/2.4 (UW) Front Camera: No 8K@120FPS Selfie camera: Should be 8K@120 FPS No periscope telephoto camera No ultra-wide autofocus No 100x digital zoom No dual LED flash Hardware RAM: Offer 16GB No Radio No DAB+ A 3D eye scan Iris recognition is an automated method of biometric identification that uses mathematical pattern-recognition techniques on video images of one or both of the irises of an individual's eyes, whose complex patterns are unique, stable, and can be seen from some distance. iris scanning is a far more secure form of biometric authentication than, say, voice recognition, fingerprints or toe print There is a lot of hype on this phone, I sold the phone and sticking with the Xiaomi mix 4 for now and might purchase the Samsung S22 ultra or the Nokia X50 Pro Thanks
