Beautiful phone that is plagued with bad software. Phone constantly freezes and camera will randomly stop functioning and need to be reset.

This phone is phenomenal. It is not cheap, but the quality of Sony is obvious. Screen is vastly superior to my previous Iphone 13 pro and my wife' Ultra 23. Battery life is outsdanding- I am getting an entire day of battery life with heavy use. Soeakers and sound quality are much better than the competiion. Sony 4k screen reaolution is unbeatable-. The phone came with headphone jack, dual physical sim and expandable memory. I am impressed.

It lasted 1 year, literally the day after the warranty expired it decided it didnt like sim cards. So now i have a paperweight that cost 1500 dollars.

I've had pretty much all of them - Samsung fold 3&4, notes, Google pixels 2,3,4, 6, 7 pro, Motorola's, iPhone 14 pro and earlier models --- this is the best phone I've ever had. The battery life isn't as absurdly good as an iPhone and it does get a little warm at times when really pushing hifi video. But everything else is does - gaming, video viewing, photos, processing data, calls, design, comfort, personality, fast charging - more than makes up for the specific areas it doesn't beat an iPhone in.

This is way better then the pixel 7 pro and s23 ultrA better pick them both off them definitely faster and way better cameras and longer battery life

Build quality is tip top!!! As expected from Sony, 4k display when watching 4k content looks fantastic with the 21:9 wide screen, Android 14 runs smooth and without an issue. The camera is aimply amazing and the content you can capture is beyond other smartphone cameras as long as you have professional or similar knowledge on how to properly use Sony Pro Apps. If you have no clue how to get the best out of an Xperia phone this phone isn't for you, Sony doesnt martket its flagship smartphones for the likes of regular users of Apple and Samsung fanboys.

Im beyond upset with the Xperia 1V. Like....OH MY GODD!!! Despite the fact you got a beautiful display no major streaming app alow you to watch movies in HD. You can only watch them in SD. Jesus Christ. This is ridiculous. SONY did me and every other XPERIA 1V wrong on this one. -THE CAMERAS ARE GOOD -THE FLASH LIGHT ON THIS PHONE AND LIKE ANY OTHER XPERIA IS WEAK - THE PHONE IS BEAUTIFUL. THE TEXTURE AND FEEL ARE PERFECT - BATTERY LIFE IS FINE -SOUND IS EXCELLENT - YOUTUBE VIDEOS ARE EXCELLENT. ( IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PHONE WHERE YOU CAN ENJOY WATCHING YOUR MOVIES IN HD, XPERIA 1V I IN FACT NOT IT).... I PROMISE.

Samsung is 1000% better than the Sony phone. The one and only reason I purchased the Sony was that Samsung no longer had the SD port. That is the only reason. I cannot stand this phone. The only thing that is good is the camera. The features are awful, and the layout is awful. It overheats, and it just all around an awful phone.

So far so good. It works better than my last few Samsung phones. Samsung has disappointed me for a while and wanted to go a different route. All the features and performance I had hoped for.

I got this phone directly from Sony. I love it. I don't understand those who does not read specifications and post bad reviews for not having something (what was not a secret). I had s23+ and can say that Xperia 1 V 1000% better. Love it
