Phone had camera issues that were software related and magically went away after an update. The issue was green and pink streaks appearing on the screen when using the front facing camera. Tried to do an RMA, but xperia wanted me to be without my phone for a month... The screen is nice, but it has some issues with spazzing out and registering a bunch of clicks when I'm not even touching it. It will open apps and click links randomly for about 10 seconds or so every once in a while. Not good if you want to avoid clicking risky links or malware!

I bought this device at Apr. 23. At first, it works OK, albeit sometimes slow, the device functionally worked. I even bought new cases and screen protectors prepare to use this phone for the next one or two years. However, after the first system update, the device stop working. The SIM card does not recognize and I have to reboot the system to make sure the SIM card works. At the same day, the TF card stop recognizing. So I have to contact the sony service center to ask for repair. I send this device out at May 27. Yes, I use this device one month, and it stop working. Because of the COVID-19, I got no reply since then, I thought I was deceived. But, thankfully, after several times of email and contact the sony service center, I got the repair updated. The funny thing is that they said they are waiting for some necessary parts for repair my device, and the shipping might take few weeks. After one month, I have to contact the sony service center and the repair service several times again for update. And, they tell me they cannot fix it, since the part is not available. I do not know who is answering me that, but the previous agency said the shipping of the part need about one month. I feel deceived again. Thankfully after painstakingly email and chatting. they agree to give a refund through a check. Since this is the final process of the repair service, I will only need to waiting for the check. again ont month passes, I still did not got the refund. I asked the sony service again, they said they will seeking for the check, and contact me further. Today is Aug 27. From Apr. 23, 4 month of trouble, the worst device I have ever bought! I am still not sure that if there is any possible that I could got my money back! In the future, I will never buy any Sony phones. This is a flag here for me as a reminder.

Easy to use one handed, descent battery, nice camera, n love that sinks with Playstation so I can make sure my kids are not doing anything there not allowed to do

I bought this phone as a back up and it seems like a good just in case phone. The phone is a little tall and feels like cheap plastic but for the price its not bad.

The picture, battery, expandable memory, and great processor make this Android phone great for those of us who hate contracts. Nice job Sony! Uses C type charger.

I was excited with Sony's latest Xperia model, the 10 Plus. I have experience with Apple and Samsung products: not wanting to spend too much into the Apple ecosystem, and not really liking the curved edges of Samsung's phones. I was willing to give Sony a try since I've heard good things about Xperia. So far I am pleased with the phone There are many things to like, and many things to NOT like about this device. After about 3 weeks with it, here are my thoughts: Pros: -Slim design. I am liking how easy it is to use one hand. Unlike Apple and Samsung, the Xperia feels light to hold for me in one hand and most of the time, easy to use. -Double Tap feature. On the right side of the phone, above the finger print scanner, you can command the phone to open some useful apps. I found this easy to use and allows me to find apps that I would need immediately that are not on the home scree (Settings is the most useful here). - Camera. 12 MP camera provides a wonderful experience in taking photos around you. Since it is a 21.9 display, you get a full range of screen size that makes photography a joy to use. - Battery. 3100 mAh capacity gives me more than a day's use before i have to charge. - Speed. 1.8GHz octa-core processor along with the 4GB RAM makes this pretty snappy. I was impressed at how fast the response is on this phone. Cons: -Glass: although labeled Gorilla Glass, this scratched up pretty fast on the sides. And this was just putting it in my pocket without anything else in there. Very easily scratch-able on the sides of the screen. -Screen quality. Not impressed. Yes, you have the 21.9 display and you can record in 4K, it just does not look sharp and the colors look muted. -Accessories. As i mentioned about the glass scratching, I was disappointed that there wasn't enough accessories available in store. You have to order on Amazon for screen protectors or cases. -Size of HD. Only 64GB HD...not enough if you want files stored in the phone itself. Overall, I am impressed with the Xperia. Despite the short comings I've identified, I feel it is a better option compared to Samsung. If you want an Android experience, I believe this is a good option compared to the Pixel or Note series phones.

The great 21:9 aspect ratio is great for watching netflix and youtube and is easier to handle than you might think especially with the one hand mode.

The slender body is comfortable in you hand easy grip easy to hold. Speedy performance and bright rich screen. Its 21:9 it's good for multi tasking.

I love this phone well made and durable. My phone has been dropped accidentally many times yet phone is in well conditions with no cracks.

Tends to stop working without warning. Otherwise, has a fast processor and sharp screen. The glitches are very annoying and I'll never buy a Sony phone again.

This is an excellent new phone. I didn't know Sony made phones but is not surprised by its quality. Movie resolution is amazing. Speaker volume is great too.

I understand no one will ever read this review but if you are EVER debating on getting this phone for ANY reason DO NOT DO IT. IT has a 5 hours battery life and It causes nothing but problems. I Reached out to sony so many times I lost count. they finally replied to a tweet a MONTH after telling me to do the SAME thing I already did for months. DO NOT BUY BAD BAD BAD RUN! STAY AWAY! BURN IT.

Sony keeps outdoing themselves on the Xperia line. Have 3 different Xperia phones

Great phone, hadn't heard anything about it before I bought it. Haven't been this happy with a new phone since my first Pixel XL.

This Sony-Xperia Is A Great Phone With A Lot Of Great Functions, And Display Is Great.

Its a great phone. Very easy to navigate and it always pops up tips on how to use the phone. Makes life very easy. Loving it.

I actually like Sony phones, although their software sometimes leaves something to be desired, but, it is much less resource heavy than any Samsung stuff, and their designs are definitely different from most run of the mill android phones. Surprisingly quick, nice to hold in your hand, and has android Pie as the OS.. Would have liked to see wireless charging, and, stereo speakers, but, it does have a headphone jack, and a nice display, and a very nice camera package, so, if you are looking for an alternative to another Samsung phone, you should take a look at this one...Nicer than I thought it would be!

Really like this phone, bought it for one of my sons and he is very pleased with it.
