I am very pleased to see Sony with this great product. Checking all the features and the technology involved, vs the cost and making some comparisons with new cell phones in the market, I have to say that the Xperia 10 is a way better choice than other cell phones that could cost even the double of the original Sony Xperia 10’s price. The Xperia 10 comes in an elegant case. The one that I have got is full black, however it is my understanding that you have the Navy, Pink, and Silver color choices. With a metal unibody, curved corners and rounded edges, and a feature that I like the most, Gorilla Glass 5 Screen (I think the name explains itself). I have had this feature in an old different cell phone brand and it is very useful. The first thing that you’ll notice about the Sony Xperia 10 is how tall and thin it is. The aspect ratio of the display is 21:9, which is significantly skinnier and taller than most common smartphones, with a 6.00 by 2.64 by 0.31inches touchscreen display. So with these dimensions you will feel the flexibility of this design and that it is also designed to be for one hand use. The processor is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630. It comes with 3GB of RAM, 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 512GB), another feature that, from my point of view, easily beats its more expensive and bigger competitors. I added an extra 64 micro SD card from my previous old phone with all my mp3 music, videos and pictures, and everything was readable and easily accessible. Still includes the 3.5mm headphone jack on the top, and supports Hi-Res audio too and stereo speakers. And there is USB Type-C at the bottom. The right-hand edge has the dedicated camera launcher button along with a power button, volume control and a side fingerprint sensor. Another feature that I really like, because of the versatility and customizable option that offers, is the OS. Xperia 10 runs Android 9.0 and is powered by a 2,870mAh battery that also has fast charging Sony proprietary feature, in my case, I have had the phone fully charged in less than an hour. Talking about the cameras, the rear camera is a dual 13 + 5 megapixel primary camera with autofocus, the front is a 8 megapixel camera. The rear flash is dual led. It features bokeh images and 4K video recording, But it doesn’t have optical zoom. (personally, I have never believed in that feature, although never used it in my other cell phones) It supports dual, for Nano SIM and Nano SIM cards. I my household, we have 3 different carriers, ATT, Sprint and T-Mobile. I have tested the 3 sim carriers with the xperia and have worked great, calls, msg internet It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks that still in use in Latin America, and some carriers like Sprint) with active 4G on both SIM cards. You also have available the accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, magnetometer, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The initial setup is pretty simple, you just follows all the questions and steps as you do for any other Android based device, basically for the Xperia you just have to setup the wireless, finger print, and pw code, and that is it. The video resolution is another great plus. Full HD+ resolution and an LCD panel, Although the screen is in a smaller scale, but you will get crisper images. The ratio 21:9 is the same ratio that used the cinemas, so guarantee that you will have a like cinema experience while watching movies and there will be no black bars as well. Colors are vibrant and text clear as well. I watch some of my favorites videos in Netflix and mp4 format that I have in my microSD card and the video resolution is amazing. You will enjoy streaming movies because the format you are watching are as they were originally intended. Indeed, if you consider the fact that the majority of the Netflix movies are in the 21:9 format, so the 21:9 Xperia 10 will be the perfect Netflix movie-watching device. Another feature that comes with the OS, is the multiwindow user interface, which it allows users to easily run two apps simultaneously, one at the top of the display and one at the bottom. There are many ways to activate split screen, including asking Google Assistant to launch two apps in multiwindow, as well as long pressing an app and selecting the split screen icon. The Xperia 10 also comes with Side Sense, a feature Sony introduced on the Xperia XZ3, allowing for easier access to frequent apps and better one-handed operation. We'll be diving a little deeper into all the features in our full review of the Xperia 10, as well as how well everything adapts to that new screen ratio. For the price ($350) Xperia 10 gives you a lot. You might say “It doesn’t have waterproofing, or wireless charging”, but do you really need it?, My daughter has an Iphone 10 and she is not taking the risk to immerse it under the water without put in the proper bag water protector, even if Apple states that is waterproofing. So, what we have here, the SONY Xperia 10 with premium finish, faster processor, Gorilla Glass, great camera and video recording, like Cinema 21:9 experience video playback and expanded Storage, this is a great phone way better than its closer competitors.

This is an unlocked phone, so I never put any service on it. I just mostly lay it around on my desk to look really cool, and if people who annoy me try to start conversations, I can pick it up and seem to be really busy. The parental and finance controls of not having it even turned on are excellent, and one thing this phone does flawlessly is stay turned off. It is amazing in its ability to stay off. Just to make sure it stays off, I never hook it to a charger. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to have the latest paperweight to keep things from blowing away, without all the monthly charges, upgrades, and security of those fruity phones.

I've always used Samsung or Motorola, however Samsung's $$$ have gotten way to high, & Motorola just had too many issues. The Xperia 10 works Great & no issues, plus a nice price point!!!

I bought this phone along with the Plus model since I was concerned the Plus model would be uncomfortable. While Plus model turned out to be fine, I still enjoy this form factor. As a matter of fact, this device does not feel much smaller than the Plus model in a way, that it still holds all the benefit, like the long display which helps with lesser scrolling. The OS is stock and the phone is snappier. The display does not get as bright as a Samsung device, still looks good at it's price point. Feels light as well.
