Android Auto was another big problem I kept having. I changed USB cables thinking it was the wiring but it ended up being the device as other Android devices did not have issues with the car console. This kept happening as the device was on the latest Android 13. The camera is great but does need you to tweak the settings not straightforward like the others such as iPhones and Galaxy devices where it auto process the images for you.

If you use your device to talk, transmit data, or play games or music for an extended time, the device may get hot. This is normal because in these conditions the device uses more power than usual and therefore generates more heat. Update your device to ensure that you have optimal performance and the latest enhancements.
For your concern with Android Auto, these steps may help resolve the issue:
-Reboot your Xperia device.
-If you're using a long USB cable, try to use a shorter cable.
-For models with a supplied USB extension cable, if you need to use a USB extension cable, use the one supplied with the car stereo.
-Make sure that the software version of the Android Auto app is updated.

Or how the finger print reader breaks for everyone? Or I know my personal favorite how it freezes and restart several times per day .. including when I am not even using it and it is just sitting on my desk. My phone's newest trick is the bright green vertical line permanently on the screen. Worst phone I have ever owned

Six months after I bought it, Bluetooth began spontaneously turning on and off. Then the phone began to spontaneously shut off completely or freeze completely. After trying every solution for these problems I could find on the web, I called Sony customer support. They ran me through many things I had already tried, then had me do a factory reset of the software, which all wasted many hours and fixed nothing. Finally they told me to send the phone in for repairs, but they refused to give me a replacement phone up-front. After two weeks without the phone, they sent me a replacement. That one worked for 5 months and then the GPS and Bluetooth both began to shut off spontaneously. Then the phone started shutting off spontaneously. I called customer support, and again they forced me to waste time running through all possible fixes with no success. Then they had me send in the second phone, again with no up-front replacement. Two weeks later they called and said repairs for this phone would not be covered even though the one-year warranty had not expired. After going around and around, the customer service representative said the only thing they would do to compensate me for all my trouble was to “possibly offer a small discount off the price of a new Sony phone.” Don’t repeat my mistake! Do Not Buy!
