This is one of my favorite Android phones so far. I've had many and this is fast, responsive, and has been very stable. The 4k HDR screen is beautiful. Wish the fingerprint scanner worked in the US, but face detection is a good alternative.

So I'll start off by saying that every phone that I have ever owned has been an iPhone. I purchased this phone because my iPhone 6s+ died and I didn't want to buy another iPhone until the new one comes out in September 2017. I thought for sure this Android would be a "get me by" phone until then. I was wrong, I LOVE this phone! I can't even explain all of the great features and the great feel of the all glass body! I don't usually recommend Android but this Sony phone is fantastic! Better than the S8 I'd say!

This phone was exactly what I needed. It's got a fast processor, an amazing screen, and the camera looks amazing.

Sony never disappoints. This phone less than a samsung s8. And apple x.this one wins hands down..its super fast .has great camera.. resolution 4k..whats not to love..first 4k phone.and it was made perfect..nice loud speakers..nice size.fits good on the hand.and plenty of storage ..for the price look no further..it will not disappoint ..you will love this phone.

This phone has a great camera, clear screen, is very powerful, and has the best gaming capabilities you could ask for. The only issue is the audio is very quiet and will occasionally lower itself unexpectedly. This is a widely reported issue with the phone, but if you use headphones it's not a big deal.

i'll start off with the good: Camera, display, durability, aesthetics, audio on headphones and bluetooth , speed, gaming, fast battery charging Cons: no auto brightening, phone speakers not loud in anyway, brightest setting is a bit hard to see on full outside, no finger print scanner, sony got rid of double tap wake up on screen, and camera looks amazing until you zoom in great phone just missing the old great features that sony used to have, and the technology that comes standard on most phones these days, price mark is a bit too high for the features that you actually get, i'm happy i got it on sale and it still seems to be on sale for over 3 months. you spend at least 2 hours just updating the phone when you first get it and updates are regular

Not sure if I received a defective phone, or if Sony really went backwards on their product, but I got an xperia phone when it first came out on T-Mobile, and it did me a good job years ago. So I was in the market for another phone which offered the dual sim capability. I compared this to many others out there, and decided to make this buy BASED ON PRIOR EXPRIENCE WITH THE XPERIA LINEUP. Here's my disappointing outcome. 1) I really felt like Sony did nothing to make changes on this phone. It seemed like the same design, same functionality, with no real improvements, and not running much better than the previous phone I had years ago. 2) I heard about the fingerprint reader. Capability not offered on the phone. It's like owning a car with windows that you are unable to open or close. I heard there is software, or you can root the phone. Pass on that, rooting the phone usually voids the warranty. 3) Certain programs kept crashing. The web browser would ALWAYS error out, and I'd always have to restart it. Software was up to date, and I didn't use the phone to access any questionable sites. I tried to get a hold of Sony for help, and was told I had to bring it or send it into a repair place, and would be without a phone until it was repaired. This isn't exactly practical nor ideal. I felt like just a number to them, which really makes you understand which companies really take care of their customers, and which ones take advantage of them. I love Sony, have several TV's, the PS4, an old Vaio laptop, etc. 4) Dual SIM capability. This was my deciding factor on what TYPE of phone to buy. I had several different options, and thought this to be the best. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ ALL DETAILS TO DUAL SIM PHONES. In a lot of the phones, if you use 2 sim cards, you LOSE THE CAPABILITY TO EXPAND THE PHONE'S MEMORY. Typically the second sim slot is used for EITHER a second sim, OR an expandable memory card. I know a lot of folks like the cloud storage, but in some instances, it's not practical if you have to always download information, especially if you do not have WIFI connectivity and may have poor little signal on your phone due to the area you're in. The battery seemed to do well, there's one positive. Yes the screen is pretty, graphics on the display are beautiful, colors are amazing, and are overall mesmerizing. But buy a TV for these features. Rather difficult to bring a bunch of friends over to watch a football game on a cell phone. I would recommend Sony to stick to making TV's, video games, computers, clocks, etc, but stay away from phones. There has to be a valid reason why T-Mobile won't market Sony phones after that first model (or any other major carrier, for that matter). Needless to say, I ended up returning this phone for an Asus phone which has yet to fail me. I would not recommend this to a friend, but may potentially recommend it to an enemy, if I really, really disliked them.

This handset is probably one of my most favorite so far. Runs smooth and fast, takes amazing photos, the 4k resolution is top notch, and not only all that, but you can remote play your PS4 from it! I had to give up some creature comforts I had gotten used too, such as the fingerprint scanner and the knock to wake up feature, but it's done more than just made up for missing those things. It is a bit bulky, but once you use it for a bit you'll easily get used to it.

Using for a month as a second phone. very impressed. Always used iPhone, my first android phone.bought it to test app development and for dual SIM. you have to explore features - it has a capability to unlock phone using face ID with pressing power butter, keep phone unlocked while carrying and even keep unlocked on trusted network. Best 4K screen i had, excellent camera tried to make walking video and came up quite good. like dedicated camera button. nice and loud speakers.I don't use so much of google services, very easy to transfer data and messages from iPhone using xperia data transfer app. Feels nice and heavy in hand. Easy to upgrade to android 8.

If you are tired of iPhone and Samsung and want something superior, look no further.

Really like the clarity on the screen. The selfie shutter function is nice. All the function buttons are on one side.

The best phone I have ever held in my hand, I'm scared to even hold it, very awesome phone.
