The sound is loud, clear, and rich in bass—perfect for parties or large gatherings. The 360° sound really fills the room (or backyard), and the bass is deep without being muddy. If you love bass-heavy music or dance tracks, you’ll love this. Battery life is impressive—I got almost a full day of use on a single charge. It also charges super fast (about 10 minutes for a few hours of playback), which is a lifesaver. The built-in handle and wheels make it surprisingly easy to move despite the size. The lighting effects are a great touch. They sync with the music and add a fun vibe at night. I also tested the TV Sound Booster feature, and it genuinely enhances movie sound without needing a full surround system.

And if you pair this with another one it will surely make your room shake. The bass sends out vibes that will make you move to your feet or move to the sound of the beat right there in your seat. I haven’t turned the volume up as loud as it can go because the sound is incredibly loud enough to shift the pictures on the wall at a quarter of the volume’s level. I can imagine what it will do on the outside of the house. I promise you, you will not be disappointed with this purchase. Sony has made good on its name again.

The sound is great, the battery live surprised me, and the lights are cool. Connection is easy. Only reason it did not get the 5th star is there is a waterproof cover where the connections are. Thats not a huge deal but would have been nice.

A good speaker for work or open spaces as long as it gets taken care of. My only complaint is about the tiny plastic wheels. It wears down very quickly so avoid rolling on any rough or jagged floors or terrain. Other than that im happy with it!

Sounds great in living room/ garage and even outside. App for the lights isn’t user friendly but the display light keys on speaker is enough. Equalizer settings is user friendly. I leave it on “mega bass” (bass boost) and still sounds clear and crisp. 100% recommend to anybody who often has house parties or outdoor cook outs. It’s a big semi heavy speaker and wheels kinda suck to move around, but has sturdy handles to help maneuver.

I was originally going to buy the XV700, or XV800 but found the XV900 at arounf the same price because it was a open box. Im happy i eneded up getting the XV900 and would recommend anyone looking for a house party speaker to purchase this one. The bass is deep and the vocals are clear and i havent had to go past half way on the volume because its so load.
