I thought I was purchasing a different camera and purchased this one. I ended up opening this two months after purchasing so I couldn’t return the us the only problem I have with this version of the camera. Everything else is crisp clean easy to transfer to my cellular device. That’s why I love Sony

The picture is way better than the GoPro. I gave it four stars instead five because this camera has a lens cover and the lens cover sometimes pops off if you don't instead it right. The camera is easy to you and the touch screen is ver responsive.

The image quality is awesome for that purpose when connected to a 4K adapter. Also, not a bad point and shoot camera that can also do video.

Great budget friendly beginner camera!

There seems to be a lot of opinions about it out there on the internet but as someone who wanted a good camera that took photos and videos but doesn't know too much about cameras themselves, it's a perfect fit. The set up is pretty easy and there aren't so many settings that you'll be overwhelmed. There's a button for recording a video and a button for taking a still image without you having to switch back and forth between the two, which is such a nice feature. It also comes with a windmuff. Other cameras were just way too big and complicated for my needs, so this seems to be the best of both worlds - in my budget and exactly what I needed as a beginner (though I don't imagine I will ever buy a bigger camera).
