I haven’t had a digital camera since mobile phones started packing better cameras and when I had the opportunity to review this Sony ZV1-II I had to jump on it. Let’s get into this review with my overall impressions first and then a breakdown of the pros and cons of this camera. Overall Impresssions: The Sony ZV-1 II is a great camera for vloggers and content creators. It has a large sensor, which lets it capture excellent image quality in low light. It also has fast and accurate autofocus, which is important for vlogging when you need to keep your subject or yourself in focus. The camera also has a flip-out screen, which is great for vlogging when you want to see yourself in the frame. It also has a built-in microphone and speaker, so you can record and playback your videos without having to carry around extra equipment. This camera is very suitable to use as a webcam with just one USB cable to connect. It’s also portable and versatile enough to be a portable vlogging camera. The fact that it excels in taking still images is also a huge plus. One feature when using the Creator’s App from Sony on your phone is the ability to download videos and images straight from your camera via WiFi/Bluetooth, which eliminates the need to remove your SD card every time you want to upload your photos. Overall, I’d recommend the Sony ZV-1 II as a great option for vloggers and content creators. It's easy to use and has many features that will help you create high-quality videos and still images. 5 Stars – Excellent Camera, Highly Recommended! I recently purchased this camera and I’m extremely impressed with the quality. The image clarity is outstanding, even in low light, and the autofocus is fast and accurate. It’s user-friendly, lightweight, and perfect for both beginners and more experienced photographers. Battery life is solid, and the build feels durable. Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and high-performing camera!

The Sony ZV-1 II Vlog camera is every content creators dream! Its compact enough to fit in your pocket and lightweight for ease of use on the go. I was surprised at how user friendly navigation was. The ultra wide lens makes it easy to get everything you need within your shot and the zoom lever is a nice touch making a smooth transition zooming in and out. There are so many different settings in the menu so you can get that perfect looking video/image you need. I especially like the soft skin effect when recording my vlogs to enhance my skin tone and smooth out my facial flaws. Even in low lit enviroments I was able to get a clear image. Auto focusing works flawlessly and 4K video quality is top notch as well as the directional audio that goes with it. Even walking while recording the stabilization is buttery smooth, Vlogging and content creation is never halted by busy schedules, travel or finding the right environment. Sonys creators app worked wonderfully allowing me to quickly transfer images, and videos wirelessly from the camera to my phone without hassle. Overall, I highly recommend this camera whether you're a professional or beginner and it's the perfect go-to for your content creating needs especially at this price point.

Its a good camera. I was really looking for a device that can take better quality photos than my iPhone. Its got a 1-inch sensor that I like, as it has excellent low-light capabilities. Its portable/pocketable, which is what I need as I do travel. I don't have much use for its vlogging capability but its good to know I have it available. I'm a little disappointed in the zoom range and I wish it could zoom up to 120 mm. I bought this as a compromise on price, as I really did not have the money to spring for a 6700 APS-C or the A7C, both with multiple lenses and each setup will set me back about $2500. This camera, together with the accesory vlogging, subcardiod mic and extra batteries (off Amazon) set me back a little $1000. Its a bit pricey for what I consider as a glorified point and shoot. I do have an issue with the movie button and the other buttons on top as my fingers were used to manipulate Nikon and older model Sonys and cellphones, so I kept messing up/triggering the video button by mistake. In time I will sort it out. Is it worth it? I would say 90% yes, as a part of me still longed for either the A7C or the 6700 with the multiple lenses. But then again, budgets are real.

Obsessed with this vlogging camera! If you even like doing little slits this is worth it, the app to send the videos to your phone makes everything even more easy!

Great product, I went with open box so I got a good deal..Got this for my wife, she does cooking videos online and the photos offer adjustable settings, they look great in different lighting and the sound quality of the microphpone is good quality and consistent

Simple easy to use camera that is great for pictures and video! Small enough to fit in most bags and can even be carried in your pocket.

Great camera. The problem I had though with this camera was that it would over heat in 4k when recording for a 15 minutes. There is an option to turn the over heat threshold higher. But I definitely didn't feel comfortable with that. My rationale for not using that feature is just logic. If they didn't design the camera to operate at a higher temperature as a default then why push the threshold and put heavier wear on the device itself? Other than that this camera is easy to use and already setup for vlogging making use super easy to get into. If you can get past the limitations of limited time recording in 4k and are stabilization is alright but not the greatest but there are ways around this. if you can deal with that this camera is great!

Why one star? Simple. This camera is intended to be used mainly for video, and it can't be used for that purpose. In hot weather, in the sun, it overheats and shuts down in a few minutes. Other than that, it's pretty good. The photos are better than phone photos. The video is good. Plenty of features. Handy. Good low-light performance. Thing is, it's sold as a vlogging camera, and that's the one thing it can't do, unless you always stay out of the sun.

I bought this to take more photos of my pups instead of just using my iPhone Pro Max. It is small and easy to carry. I don’t really know much about digital cameras and this was easy to use and takes great pictures. There are so many different cameras to choose from but if you want an easy point and shoot, I recommend this.

Perfect for vlogging and on the go shooting. Love the cinematic mode and product display feature. Do note the charger/usb is NOT included. That was surprising, but the camera can be charged using a usb you already own. But I recommend buying a quality charger or using something with a high wattage. I tried using a regular usb and the camera would not charge. I thought something was wrong with it but nope. Also the battery dies a bit quick if shooting constantly in 4K. I recommend getting an extra battery if your constantly on the go. Camera does overheat from time to time(apparently it is a Sony problem) but again that’s with shooting for over 1hr non stop in 4K. Overall 4/5 . Love the quality of my content but I wish I knew about the usb and battery life on the day that I purchased so I could buy everything I needed then and there.
