Perfect balance!

It’s the perfect balance between compactness and power. Being able to control the depth of field with aperture priority is a game changer - and totally sets it apart from phone cameras. The image quality is excellent as well. It takes some time to learn all of the buttons. The advanced features are not very intuitive. But after an hour or so of “fiddling” and experimenting - you should have a great handle on it and be able to take advantage of all its features.

A bit pricey, but worth it if a GoPro does not suite your needs (such as audio). Would be good if flash was included as well.

Takes amazing photos

Wait for a sale

My troubles are with Best Buy’s open box (aka used) items. I had originally purchased this open box camera online through BB at a discounted price of about $65 + $100 off for a sale, and was guaranteed that it would have all its original parts and the product was like new. Unfortunately, the camera they gave me was missing the charging cord and the lens made a concerning sound when I turned the camera off and on. I went in store to replace the camera, which caused me to lose the sale price and, of course, the sale price. My wallet hurts after paying the original price plus losing about $50 in taxes from the original purchase. Don’t make my mistake. Just buy new and wait for a good sale.

Overwhelmed w/ all the features, but 10 out of 10!

I took a trip to Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas and the footage and photographs captured by the Sony - ZV1 11 were absolutely impeccable! The battery life was pretty great (I never changed or charged the battery during my entire 6 night stay...when I remembered to pick up the camera lol). My 15 year old said the specs are incredible (I think he's more excited for the camera than I am)
