I bought this to take more photos of my pups instead of just using my iPhone Pro Max. It is small and easy to carry. I don’t really know much about digital cameras and this was easy to use and takes great pictures. There are so many different cameras to choose from but if you want an easy point and shoot, I recommend this.

10/10 would recommend! (wait for that price to drop), Also the best camera to buy as a content creator!

I absolutely love this camera. I wanted something small and compact for travel and this camera is just that. I love the 4k and the quality overall.

Super great alternative to the Canon g7x. Most people don’t want this camera because it doesn’t come with a built in flash, but I literally bought one off of Amazon and now all of my pictures look like the g7x. Even without the flash the quality is AMAZING!!! Definitely recommend.

It is a very good camera for a content creator who is starting off. You can control all of your basic functions without going to in depth. If you are looking for a small handheld travel anywhere camera with good quality this is a good option. The cons of this sony camera that I have found are as follows. All of the inputs are on the right side of the camera, which makes it difficult to use with a gimbal such as the Ronin RS3 mini if you are using external mics or wanting to live stream with the gimbal listed. The other con is the over heating factor. If you plan on shooting somewhere hot an external cooling system will be needed. I was shooting a set in very hot temperatures and after 14 minutes of continuous shooting the camera popped up with a message to stop recocording because the camera was over heating. I hope this information is useful!

Perfect for vlogging and on the go shooting. Love the cinematic mode and product display feature. Do note the charger/usb is NOT included. That was surprising, but the camera can be charged using a usb you already own. But I recommend buying a quality charger or using something with a high wattage. I tried using a regular usb and the camera would not charge. I thought something was wrong with it but nope. Also the battery dies a bit quick if shooting constantly in 4K. I recommend getting an extra battery if your constantly on the go. Camera does overheat from time to time(apparently it is a Sony problem) but again that’s with shooting for over 1hr non stop in 4K. Overall 4/5 . Love the quality of my content but I wish I knew about the usb and battery life on the day that I purchased so I could buy everything I needed then and there.

I'm a professional videographer! I have some of the finest equipment you can buy and lots of it for multiple teams. That is NOT what I use this for. I brought it to my families lake camper for the Fourth of July. It was the perfect pocket camera for that occasion. 4k 30 with digital stabilization is good enough for most people wanting to document life! The zooming lens combined with digital zoom is plenty of range for simple documenting life. The on camera microphone is passable if you have nothing else. Fundamentally, it's very sound and I recommend it for hobbiests! If this is you. Get it. What I ACTUALLY used it for. I do sales for my video company and spend hours on zoom calls. This camera was my gateway drug into the Sony ecosystem. It's small, powerful and most importantly, Sony doesn't arbitrarily hold anything back. My $2500 full framed Canon is SO fickle when connecting to USB C. I can't charge it while using it and it constantly cuts out on Zoom calls. Fine. But this little $1k unit charges AND streams (720p) video right out of the camera at the same time with no hassle or setup. Great. When taking footage of friends and family, it's just a cute little camera, no one gets nervous or takes it too seriously. My Mom paints for long periods and records her lessons for her students. My Canon has a 30 min limit and overheats easily. This badboy has no recording limit, but it will overheat in long recording sessions. Much less than my other cameras even still. It'll do HDMI CLEAN out at 1 so my mom can stream paintings for her class on a TV. We never ended up using this, but it worked very easily. My Canon limits all kinds of functions and turns off the TOUCH SCREEN when plugging in a monitor. Not this lil guy. Just gets to work with a smile on it's face. So I returned this camera... for it's bigger brother. The ZVE1. THAT thing is a beast. I use it professionally, this one is all you would ever need if you are a hobbiest. Full menu customization and functionailty, the same ecosystem as it's bigger brothers so you can work all the cameras the same way. Just so much value in this fun little camera and very good quality for what you're really getting here. Only con is how poorly it performs in low-light. Still better than a phone, but not good enough even as a backup for professional use. Aside from this 10/10 little buddy with great personality. You'll love busting this thing out! Just get it. And get some extra batteries too!

The item works perfectly. I am new to photography but i only got it to vlog and record memories with family and friends and it has been a sucessfull purchase. So easy to use and amazing quality!

Great product, I went with open box so I got a good deal..Got this for my wife, she does cooking videos online and the photos offer adjustable settings, they look great in different lighting and the sound quality of the microphpone is good quality and consistent

I love the camera for what it is (when it works). It performs well, the 4k option is great and picture quality is impressive for the price, I like a lot of the digital features like stabilization and background blur etc. After owning the camera for about 6 months, out of the blue the camera started acting up. The camera would not turn off. After pushing the power button, it would turn off for a second or 2 and immediately turn itself back on. The button itself was not stuck or anything, and I have never dropped the camera or got it wet or anything that would warrant the camera to be act up. After a quick google search several other people experienced the same thing, and the result was the board had errors or issues. I’m not sure what causes it, and why it wasn’t acting this way from the time I bought it, but thankfully my camera was still in warranty when this started, I’ve read others have not been as lucky. I was very disappointed in Sony for this issue because I have always trusted Sony as a top quality company.
