    OK Headphones.

I had some In Ear headphones that only lasted 1 or 2 months and i got tired of it. I saw a bunch of my friends with this and they said it sounded good so i bought em, and for the price there's nothing wrong with trying them out. I've had them for like 3 months and the sound quality hasn't changed, and i use these for everything, Youtube videos, Anime, and music alike. The only thing that's change, is that the width of the headphones, or how much they spread out when u take them off has widened, but i dont really care about that. You get used to keeping them on your ears even when ur not listening to anything but thats a problem, cause after like 10 minutes it will make your ears feel sore, but moving them around or adjusting them will make that pain go away but it usually comes back right after that. And another thing I dont know if its just me but when i keep these around my neck it feels like its putting pressure against my neck and i dont like that feeling. Over all. The sound isnt AMAZING, But its really good for what you pay for, and Honestly the Apple EarPods sound better in comparison and i've listened to both several times to make an accurate comparison. The cushion is soft, but doesnt change the fact that it gets really sore after a while. But the fit is ok. The Cord is pretty long and im 6 foot 3, i don't know why people say its short....I have to stuff some of it in my pocket so it wont get caught on anything, like handles and stuff. Not a bad thing though. I bought these cause I cant afford Beats Solos, Monster Dna or any of those type of headphones but im saving up to get one of them, and honestly, i would buy Earpods instead just because of the soreness these headphones give my ears. You get used to it but its still not a good feeling. The Earpods sound a little better and give no pain to your ears like the previous models did. I still use these on a daily basis though, for Watching videos and anime as well as music, as i mentioned before. But if you are actually planning on getting headphones because you cant afford more expensive ones now get In ear ones instead but if you want an Over Ear headphones i guess you cant go wrong with these. But if you can afford better ones then go ahead and do that, and i guess i would recommend these to people that cant afford better headphones. It may sound like these are horrible but they really arent, i just wish the Cushion was better and didnt cause ear pain. And another thing these Headphones say Sound Canceling on the category but it DOES NOT do that. If your on the Train you will hear noises like when you're wait, and the train passes by you WILL hear that as clearly as it would sound if you didnt have the headphones on. Same if you were crossing the street on a busy road. My sister called me once and my volume was on high, and i still heard her clearly. So it doesnt really cancel sound at all.

All About The Sony Over-the-Ear Headphones Everyone in this day and age, loves music. Music is a way of life, a way of escape for some people. It can bring you relief after a hard day. We use music as a sound track of our everyday lives. When you live an a city like New York and you take the subway, an MP3 player and a great pair of headphones is your escape. It blocks our all of the craziness of the city when you don’t feel like dealing with it anymore. Every year I go through about 20 headphones, because I never want to spend more than five bucks on them. I finally got tired of always having to buy a new pair of headphones every month, so I gave in and started looking for headphones that are gonna last me for what i like to think is forever and that will block out every other sound or voice I don’t want to hear. I did research going to different websites, looking at reviews on what headphones I could find for a reasonable price. Then I saw everyone, walking around with these Sony Studio headphones mostly in white. I wanted to know what the big deal was about them, so I said let me try them. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed. I paid about $27 for these headphones, twenty for the device itself, and $5.00 for the warranty, plus whatever tax best buy adds. When I opened them and first put them on, they were so comfortable. The ear cushions are soft, so your ears don’t feel like they’re being squished against your head. The headphones themselves are stylish, not too heavy and bulky like the overrated Beats headphones. The sound quality is amazing except for the fact that on certain songs you tend to hear more bass than lyrics, but that’s okay. I absolutely recommend that everyone who wants a great pair of headphones fro a reasonable price to get these ASAP!!. If you love music as much as I do, you will love these. And for girls who think the over the ear headphones are only for boys, you will love these they are made for everyone, and they go with almost every outfit we wear. GET THEM!! AND DON’T THINK TWICE ABOUT IT!

For 20 dollars you can't go wrong with these headphones. I have a very nice pair of earbuds that I've been using for a few years, but lately they've become irritating - perhaps because of how often/long I use them? Who knows. I purchased these to alleviate that inner ear discomfort and I couldn't be happier. While these are definitely not the most comfortable headphones around, they are far more comfortable for me than earbuds. The sound quality is excellent for this price point, and about what you would expect for on-ear headphones. They are, thankfully, far better than the similarly priced headset/mics you see commonly used for skype or other voip applications. They are actually perfect or movie watching. Keep in mind though that these headphones do not cover the entire ear so sound is going to leak in and out so be discreet. I wouldn't recommend these headphones for serious gaming, but they're a perfect travel companion for a tablet or laptop. The build quality feels very flimsy. These are made of a very flexible plastic, and the fabric on the ear cups feel very thin. I will not be at all surprised to see some bare spots appear on the fabric, nor would I be surprised to see the headband break at some point. I'm pretty finicky about taking care of my gadgets, but I strongly suspect one good drop or some act of randomness will take these out of commission. Oddly the rubber (maybe silicone) cables and L-shaped jack feel very durable, moreso than the rest of the set. I'm actually considering coating the whole thing in sugru to toughen it up a bit. Anyway, if you want something that's cheap and good for day to day use, these are perfect. For the price you don't have to worry too much about damage as another set is waiting on the shelf for you.

"SONY" Headphones, whether stereo or otherwise, especially within this general price range, simply cannot and do not provide much more than giving the feel of listening to audio via headphones and of a somewhat private listening experience. The fact that the quality of audio gives an entertainment experience which is, in a word, unimpressive, should really not be surprising at all. I personally knew from a similar level of headphones, when in more youthful and naïve days, and these served a primary purpose of an initial learning experience. Actually, though some of these are slightly better than others, not offering near a wide-spectrum of audio, but in more of a way that one can usually hear sound that's considerably clearer and less raspy or distorted, as compared to another of this same price range. These are, also, not constructed to be durable, and probably won't withstand any quite average abuse. Even so, I strongly hesitate to say that you get what you pay for, since there is such a confusing selection of pricey, so-called high-end models from which to choose, and most of those are not necessarily as fantastic as claimed, in return for their expensive cost. This type of low-end model of headphone still has its purposes. For example, I'll purchase them for youngsters, much as how I came to know them, as an initial introduction to headphones, and many youngsters may find them enjoyable for a while, anyhow. Further, even now, I am willing to use these for the privacy aspect, and they can be sufficient for some computer audio or other very basic audio, not music but good for that such as the spoken word.

I went to my local WalMart first to get a pair of headphones but of coarse they were out of stock so I headed to Best Buy knowing they wouldn't be out of stock and they would have a wider selection. When I got to the headphones section at Best Buy these babys were sitting on a middle rack. When I saw them I had to have them. And they price is excellent. They are the best headphones out there for $20. The sound quality is excellent and had pretty good base. As far as comfort goes they are pretty comfortable but can become slightly uncomfortable after listening for a long time. But a 5-10 break from using them usually takes care of that. They are excellent when it comes to being sturdy and durable. They seem like they would break easily but they haven't broke yet and I've had them for about 4 days now. I know thats not long enough to tell but I swear I have a headphone curse or something and I always break mine...but not this time. They also look very stylish. I bought the white ones because they look better but they kind of look similar to the Beats by Dre. Overall an excellent pair of headphones.

These are some of the best sub-$50 headphones you will find in a sound-quality-and-comfort-to-price-paid ratio. First off, the comfort. Though I have a slightly larger head, they still fit comfortably and are neither loose nor tight. However, they don't fit quite as squarely on my ears as I would like, but very few headphones do. This lets in a tiny bit more ambient noise than some much higher-priced headphones. Second, the sound quality. Are these going to take on high-end headphones, like the Beats by Dr. Dre series? Of course not! But the sound reproduction is better than many sub-$50 headphones I've tried. The highs could be a little better, but the mids are covered fairly well, and the bass response is much better than I expected. Is it going to thump your ears off? Not a chance. But at least it's very noticeable. They are neither noise-canceling or noise-isolating, so they don't do a great job at blocking out background noise. But again, they're better than many others. For the money, these are great headphones. If you're a pure audiophile, drop $250 on the high-end headphones - don't waste your time with these. But if you want some good, every day sound at home or work, these will fit the bill nicely.

So I've been wearing these headphones for a little bit, and they're not bad. I like how the ear cups swivel so you can rest them flat over your chest when you're not listening to music. I had a previous pair from iFrogz that is best described as a padded choker--not very comfortable. Sound quality is meh--you're not getting ~AMAZING~ bass for $20 ($15 until Sunday!) but it's decent enough for most people. Lightweight plastic construction is a concern for me, which is why I paid the extra $5 for the protection plan. Think of it as getting a new pair of headphones for $5 when these (inevitably) break within the next two years. Then again, I've never had a pair of headphones for more than a year. Obviously, no noise cancellation, but there's ample padding around the ear to help with background noise. Also, and THIS IS EASILY MISSED: if you enjoy bobbing your head while listening to music or move around in general--you WILL hear your clothes/limbs/bag straps rub the cable through the ear cups. Whether or not this makes a big difference for you is up to, well, you. Overall, not a bad buy, especially since they're on sale this week. Go into the store, say you saw the price online. They'll match it.

I am pretty loyal when it comes to Sony headphones. Most of the pairs I have owned withstand daily use. I own a pair of Studio Monitor Pro for work that still have a few good years left in em. But I never really had headphones for just listening to music, and using with my Ipod or computer. These are actually good. Nice, rich sound quality if you just want to listen to your tunes. I don't quite recommend them for studio work though. I would be afraid that these might blow out quickly. (If you are the type to crank it up to 14) The design was also a cool feature. White! and it's not a cheap, novelty item that sounds like garbage. They are comfortable too. And is compatible with my glasses. Overall, if you are looking for something that looks cool and sounds cool, these cans are it.

I needed an inexpensive headphone for traveling that would allow me to wear my air pressure ear plugs at the same time. It didn't need to be noise cancelling when I bought them, but now I'm rethinking that decision. It also didn't need to blow me away in the sound department, but at least have some punch and clarity. For a sub-$20 headphone, I must say it's pretty good. For traveling purposes I wish it would fold up to a more compact size or come with a case, but that may be too much to ask for with a price this low. It isn't the most comfortable headphone, but I don't wear it for long periods anyway. There are so many headphones on the market; try them all out if possible to see if it meets your needs. This one met my specific needs and I am content. I swear there are some inexpensive headphones out there that sound much better than those "cool and trendy-rapper endorsed" headphones that cost $300.

I've been swearing by this line of headphones for years now ever since they were recommended by my radio production instructor back in the day. They're probably not the greatest studio headphones you could get but they do the job well and for way less cash. They are comfortable and the sound quality is great. They don't cancel out all noise but for a casual user it's more than enough. These days I use them with my ipod and laptop and I still do a little music editing here and there but nothing beyond basic. There was a change between this model and the old one I had originally; the cord is a little thinner and a lot shorter now but this would only be a gripe of mine if I still did studio work. I could see it not being long enough now to allow you to move around while still wearing and get to different parts of the sound board or other equipment. This is not an issue for me these days though so I'm good.

This is my second pair of these, first set finally gave out after about 5 years (those were the black version and had the longer cord). Overall for the money these are tough to beat. I own a set a Bose that I use at home and use the Sony ones when I travel for work. Granted the Bose beats them hands down in EVERY area, but for a cheap set of headphones you can't really do any better than these. Fairly confortable, sound quality is really good...especially for an over-the-ear headphone. Highly reccomend these. Only complaint is the shortened cord length verses the previous model and would MUCH rather have had them in black but none available like that if they exist in the local BB when I went to purchase these...was going out of town the next morning and no time to what or look elsewhere. Color was not a deal breaker for me.

    Great Headphones For The Price

I wanted to buy over ear headphones because I was tired of earbuds blowing out on me or the wires breaking. I saw these and liked the price. The simple design and mat black finish with red accent on the right side goes great with my personal style. The manufacturing feels durable and comfortable. Sound quality is good. I have two situations I wouldn't recommend these. One, if you are often in a noisy environment outside noise will wash out whatever you are playing through them. Secondly, if you in a quiet environment and turn your volume up too far people around you will likely hear your music spilling out. Of course this is an issue with allot of over ear headphones. In closing, buy them or not. What do I care?

First off, I'm no audio pro and I'm guessing a pro would go for something higher end anyway. What I was looking for was a set of headphones that (a) weren't ear buds to go into my ear, (b) were sturdy enough to withstand commutes and travel on subways, planes, shoved in bags, and (c) decent enough sound quality for me to hear music and audio for video files on subways. I should add (d) weren't black. These Sony headphones satisfy all those marks. I use it every day, can hear my music/video files just fine in stations and on trains (well, Union Square in NYC is a bit overpowering but it's a notoriously loud station), and it's handled rough travel and treatment too. The only debit is the fit isn't completely snug over the ears, so I think you do sometimes get a bit of bleed-in of outside sound. But for the price, if you're looking for durability and solid dependability, these headphones do the trick.

They are so many headphones today that it's hard to chose one, but Sony's ZX-Series over ear headphones are a great sounding pair for a very reasonable price. While not an audiophile level headphone, they have a broad range of sound reproduction that is perfect for a wide range of music taste (easy, rock, and rap/hiphop listening) as well as having a live, exciting sound for all gamers. Their are easily adjustable for young kids and adults. Comfortable for longer game playing, studies, or back seat TV/DVD viewing use. While not wildly decorated, they do come is a few colors to help give them a young look. Colors are good if you have a couple of kids to help keep the sharing down to using their own pair without writhing names on them with a sharpie. Last, they are very affordable. If you see them on sale, get two as they make great gifts for the holiday season.

For the budget conscious, a great option

There is actually a bass response, however minimal. It's not as bad as people who complain about the ambient noise and lack of bass frequency response purport it is... what do they expect out of a $20 pair of headphones? They should just buy $200 Bose then, if they can afford it and they think overpriced products are worth purchasing. I like how these are easily slightly transportable by collapsing the loudspeakers. Kind of a short cord, however. If your budget is anything below $100, I would spring for $99 Sennheiser headphones like these: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Sennheiser+-+Closed+Over-the-Ear+Professional+Headphones+-+Gray/6421561.p?id=1077626749728&skuId=6421561 But for general listening, this is a great option for the budget-conscience. The only thing I can't attest to is longevity. I may edit my review if this pair ever breaks. They seem to be strong, though.

This is the first pair of headphones I have purchased, so, I'm sure there will be plenty of people out there saying Beats or whatever are better. They're probably right, but, as a college student, I can't be dropping cash like that for headphones. I was recommended these and I can honestly say that I am extremely happy. The sound quality is better than I expected and seems to work well for what I listen to. I have not experienced any discomfort while wearing them, which is saying something, because my head is enormous. Lastly, on a personal note, I also appreciate the simple design. I don't like to draw attention. These are cut-and-dry headphones. No neon colors or in-your-face logos. I'd recommend these to anyone who wants a decent pair of headphones without a hefty price tag. So far, I have not been disappointed in any way.

We bought these for four kids ages eight to twelve. All four sets immediately came out of their boxes and were put to use. When I finally was able to wrestle a pair away from one of the kids, I found them comfortable and the sound quality was much better than I expected for $20. I liked that they adjust down small enough to fit an eight year old, but I can wear them comfortably too. I also like that the earpieces turn so that they can lay flat inside a backpack. I can't speak for the long term durability since we have only had them for two days but the fact that they have survived even this long is a plus! Bottom line - if you are tired of the incessant music coming from your kid's 3DS or Touch buy these, you won't regret it.

After my headphones that I had for a year decided to break on me, I was on the search for a new pair. Although I wanted the Beats by Dre I couldn't justify spending $200 on something that I would only use at the gym. I don't like SkullCandy headphones and I wasn't going to pay $100 for some Sols. So these were my final decision and only at $16 plus tax. They have decants sound. It's not as rich as the Beats, but I only use them for working out so I doesn't really matter. They also fold flat for perfect storage behind my car seats when not in use. They are also comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. All in all, I'd say these are your best bet if you're looking for good sound but are not willing to pay more than $50 on it.

I have had these for a while now and I must say that I really have been enjoying them. These are my first over-the-ear headphones and the sound quality is a lot better than I expected. They look very cool and manage to stay on my head very well after adjusting it for a few minutes. The cord is also a great length and hasn't tangled on me yet which is great. Smudge marks aren't very visible either which is a plus. However, the one thing I can say about it is that the volume isn't as great as I originally expected. It seems like my cheap ear buds are actually louder. In addition, they will also hurt your ears after a while(but that is expected I guess..).

I was looking for a decent pair of headphones to use at work. -It's quiet at work, so I didn't need noise cancellation. -It's quiet at work, so I didn't plan on blaring my music or pumping the bass. I went to the store and tried them on and was pleased with how they felt. The following week or so I began disliking them more and more. I wear glasses and they were kind of tight on my head. The part over the head has no padding and can cause discomfort depending on where you place it on your head. Overall, I was pleased with the sound for the price, and would recommend it to people who would use it for time spans under and hour.
