Shockingly good, for $10; I would buy this if it cost many hundreds. Being closed back, acoustically, the bass is quite accurate, and "hits" right, with weight and depth. Quite forgiving of source (phones and lappys work great) but it also resolves a good amount of detail, if provided a better DAC and AMP. Maybe most importantly, it renders high quality and well recorded music incredibly naturally: note/instrument separation, stereo imaging, staging, timbre, balance - everything sounds *right* - quite an impressive feat for any headphones. Buy 1 for yourself, and be impressed, then buy 10 to give away. Caveats... the build quality *feels* cheap, but the cable and body are hearty, functional, lightweight, and very serviceable. If it breaks in 5 years, I'll just buy another. Also, being on-ear, it leaks a ton of sound into your ear from the environment. Personally, this is something I *wanted* - I already don't enjoy headphones as much as speakers, so further isolating the headphones experience, to me, is worse.

know very little about differences in headphones - I simply wanted an inexpensive selection suitable for listening to meditation recordings. I chose these after viewing the video review posted by a young man (thank you, so much!) who also purchased this Sony brand. These headphones function perfectly for my unsophisticated needs and most importantly, my meditation downloads can be heard very clearly, in stereo. The fit is relatively comfortable and adjustments can easily be made. I was happy to find a tactile display designating the left side, as well as a color marking in red for the right. Very satisfied with my purchase.

These headphones have above average sound quality, are comfortable, adjustable, & the price is right. I bought a wired set & though it was short it was doable for my needs.

My toddler has broken a couple of headphones considered to be “sturdy”. They all seemed to be a little bothersome in one way or another, which meant he’d start pulling them apart. Once I bought him a pair of these, that all stopped. First, he seemed to like the look of them. Secondly, he takes care of them and has learned to adjust them when wearing them. And unlike other basic headphones, these have yet to give out. This is the second pair I’ve bought in this style only because I lost the set I use to have for myself. Glad I didn’t have to shell out a ridiculous amount of money when the quality of these headphones is good as is.

I bought 2 of these of these headphones for my son's school work. he is a 5th grader and the school for some reason requires every kid to have 2 sets of headphones at school all year long. this Sony was the obvious option after a long search for something with OK or better quality & a price tag that wouldn't break the bank. those ZX headphones were on sale and I got them and they didn't disappoint. they are built under Sony's QC, and they sound OK, and they are not extremely loud and won't hurt my 10 yrs old hearing. I am very satisfied with this product.

Good price and good sound quality -- great for my nephew, fit his ears well, not too large like many of the over-the-ear headphones, and better than ear buds that fall out of kids ears. He loves them!

These are the best earphones for the price. Great for game play, listening to music and podcasts. I carry them in my back pack and have had no issues with breaking.

my son uses these for his tablet. he is a teaching masters student and the combination has proven invaluable to his work. price is right, they fold and they sound pretty darn good for the price.

Sounds great keeps out outer sounds, Light weight, Comfortable to sleep while on period

I like to listen to music in a variety of settings (at the gym, mowing the lawn, commuting etc.) I have a set of Audio Technica cans for when I'm at home but I don't like to use them when sweating or taking them to work where they could get left behind by accident. I purchased these for a very affordable price with the idea that if I wore them out in a year or less or lost them, they could be easily replaced. So far I've been satisfied with the sound and fit. They sound good for most music types I listen to. They do the job just fine and are good value for the money I spent.

Love these so much! They are bright and make me very happy. Great comfort too. These headphones are perfect for any dancers out there. They stay put and the audio is top notch.

The headphones produce clear sound and they are very lightweight. Ear cushions are very soft. The only thing they make noise when you turn your head.

I purchased these to use while working out. For the money, you cannot beat these! Sound quality is better than more expensive ones that I have owned. Would definitely buy again.
