The sound quality is exceptional; hard to believe these were only $10! I was disappointed that there was no foam or cushion on the top, but this was quickly resolved with a short piece of foam insulation I had lying around. Very immersive sound; you can easily get lost in the audio world of your choice! Unless you have extremely discriminating ears, these headphones should work for most applications.

I have used Sony headphones for over 30 years. These I purchased primarily to listen to my Yamaha keyboard. They are larger enough and light enough for long practice sessions. The cable is good for me at about 39 inches. If I moved around a lot that would be too short. This is a 73 key keyboard. The highs are clean and clear and the lows are solid and full.
