I haven’t played Soul Calibur since the first one came out on the Dreamcast. I remember how much fun it was to play this game with my kids back then. Haven’t played too many games since then but when someone bought a PS4 for my 10 year old , I bought this and now we are hooked. So many cool characters and arenas. Great when you have 4 or 5 people taking turns battling each other.

This installment of Soulcalibur is A LOT of fun! I think the developers learned from their mistakes with Soulcalibur V and improved on what worked with the previous entries. As a longtime fan of the Soul series, I can say that this fighter is approachable for both new and veteran players. Add the new features like Reversal Edge and Critical Edge, and there's a lot to learn without feeling overwhelmed. This fighter rewards the player for combos and skill whereas other fighters are all about the 'rock, paper, scissors' formula of mastering a match. The visuals and sounds are stunning as always as you'd expect from a Soulcalibur game. I do wish that there were more fighting stages and added to the 'mood' as we had seen in past games but it's not a deal breaker. The online is solid and I have found that there is hardly any lag when taking on opponents. Of course, you can always have friends/partners play against you with a second controller. If you're looking to tackle the single-player challenges then you won't be disappointed. There's A LOT to do without getting bored. And that's not including the campaign. I do wish that this game encompassed everything but alas, there's a season pass offered that will eventually offer four additional characters and armor (for custom creation characters). At the end of the day, you're getting a fun and gorgeous fighter with Soulcalibur VI.

I got this on sale for about $15 and I've been really enjoying it. There was something about the last couple of games in the series that I just didn't like, but this one really feels more like the original. It's simplistic at its base and offers players lots to learn in regards to combos and such. Honestly, I don't think I would've ever bought this had it not been below $20 and for that price I think it's well worth it if you're just a casual fighting game fan.

Easily the best soul caliber game since part 2! Graphics are amazing, but more importantly the game play is solid. I like the new slow motion clash type system. The story mode has also been improved. If you were ever a SC fan and were hesitant due to some of the lackluster sequels, fear not, they did a good job this time around!

This game is great. I always enjoyed playing Soul Calibur games, and 4 was great but 5 not so much. I'm happy to report that Soul Calibur 6 is a superb game and very much worth your time if you are a previous fan of the serious or are intrigued by the idea of a heavily weapons based fighting game.

I've been very happy with this since I've had it, I feel it's one of the stronger titles in the series. Most of the mechanics are solid, but some of them get spammed a lot online. Other than that I've spent many hours on it so far, and to top it off they included 2B in the season pass.

Wow, this game is awesome. I didn't think it could be any more fun. My favorite before this was SC IV, but when SC V came out I didnt like it too much. This game changed my mind it got so much better and its so much more fun. Really love all the detailed customization it gives.

I personally adore any and all Soul Calibur games, only missing the first two in the series, as well as no longer being able to play the PS2 versions of SCII and SCIII (hoping to get SCII HD Online one day). This game was a nice restart for the series, and I'm glad my girl Talim is back!!

What a game. So far I have came home nightly from work and started right in playing this game. Some friends/I are getting together this weekend and playing it also. I can hardly wait to play this game as we will have 2 set ups going with it. Make sure you don't miss this game.

I've always been a fan of the series, but I've been truly impressed with how beautiful this game has been. It just has this really great look to it. I guess they've made it flashy for competitive play, but that's fine with me because things are really fun to play.

A true return to form. Excellent single player modes, hilarious customization options (that really shouldn't be allowed in ranked matches however), and the same fun combat the series is known for with a few new tricks up its sleeve. Only issue I have with the game is that Tira is DLC despite being available for play in the beta.
