This is actually my first Soulcaliber and this actually has alot to offer. The customization the learning curve for for the combat, and the voice acting. Its amazing. The story isnt the best but if you only came to have epic sword fights trust me you got the right game.

Tons of characters plus create a character for online play, arcade mode, and the excellent story mode. Varied levels and changing conditions make this game an excellent buy. Plus the season pass adds more characters and customizing options for your created characters.

The libra of souls rpg part is kind of boring and grindy but the main story mode is fun because you get to see the history of the characters. I have been playing this series since 1996 and I am very pleased with what they offer here except for the rpg part. The combat is pretty and entertaining as well as playing online.

I've been a fan of Soul Calibur for a long time and each game gets better and better. Beautiful graphics, great characters and plenty customization features. If you don't like the default set of characters then feel free to make your own. Theirs plenty to do in this game and enough new features to keep you involved.

This is the first SC that I've played since SC2 on PS2. Taki plays very similar except some added moves. I have to say that this game is still fun and has some modern updates. Gameplay mechanics is still the same, easier than SFV and DBZ. Good community still so you won't have a hard time finding a match online.

I almost didn't get around to playing on the first day because it was so much fun making custom people! There are skeletons, elves, figma androids, and plenty of other choices to start off with before you turn it into something completely different. Eventually I got around to starting story mode and I was surprised they adopted a visual novel-style delivery system for the corny but charming story, which was a welcome addition since it means there's a lot of concept art to be unlocked. There's also a story mode specifically for your OC character. As far as the merit as a fighting game goes? This keeps with the series' strong point of using a weapon-based combat system to maintain play-style variety between characters. Ivy, Voldo, Mitsurugi, and Astaroth all control VERY differently so each time you pick someone up it's a whole new ball game. There's a very low skill floor and a mid-high skill ceiling so you can play online without being too intimidated.

Soulcalibur 6 is a return to greatness for a series absent for 5 years. So much to do between solo, online matches and the single player campaigns. Highly recommended for fighting fans and especially soulcalibur fans, this is the best entry since 2 IMO

Soul Calibur VI is an amazing weapon based fighting game. I haven't had this much fun with Soul Calibur since IV like 10 years ago. Its easy to learn but hard to master, its a good time for anyone wanting to get into fighting games

Hi remember when i played SC2 and was astounded by the fighting graphics/gameplay. When SC3 came along a lot of the controls were changed and move sets had decreased/became difficult. Im glad i had purchased SC6 because it reminds me of SC2.

The game is great! Came perfect but the game itself is good except the story. The story was so horrible and I know, usually stories from this developer aren’t always the best and that’s not what you get them for but it’s 2018. Pictures as representation of the characters? Lol but the game is good! Fun!

I am a more casual fighting game fan, and I have always enjoyed the SoulCalibur games. This one is a definite improvement over the last one - it feels like a more fleshed-out game. Tons of content if you play more single player like I do.

Pretty fun game. All of the characters are unlocked besides one which you’ll have to finish the main story to get. Also not including DLC Libra of Souls will take you a good 12 hours and and the other 3-4 hours. On Libra of Souls you have to make your own character.

Picked this game up during the sales. So far the new content seems interesting but I'm not too happy with the paywall compared to previous editions. I am happy for a create a character campaign mode back again. It was my favorite part of SC3. Overall a good game for a fan of the series

SoulCalibur VI is undoubtedly one of the finest fighting games of this generation, and one worth exploring even if you can’t get into the broader fighting genre. With rich and complex campaign modes and robust gameplay, SoulCalibur VI is a game I will return to for years to come

SoulCalibur VI is an addictive and satisfying fighter, and more importantly the strongest the series has been in years. You owe it to yourself to play SOULCALIBUR VI if you have even the slightest interest in fighting games.

Excellent 3D tournament fighter with a fun fighting system that's easy enough to pick up and okay casually, but had enough depth for players looking for a challenge. Character creator is the best yet, with tons of options.

I purchased this game at an incredible sale price $19.99 plus a free action figure with purchase. The graphics are amazing on my PS4 Pro. Soul Caliber has hours of fun fighting action, not so much a kids game...

As a longtime fan of the series, this new installment absolutely exceeded my expectations. The story modes are a lot of fun and the actual gameplay is deep and intuitive. If you were a fan of the previous games or fighting games in general, this is highly recommended.
