So, I bought this little guy for a living room TV but I didn't want to break the bank. In the end, this was perfect! This little guy takes the spot for sounding, in my opinion, better than a $2,000 system at my friends home. This just sounds amazing and it blows your mind because it's so small.
For us, it fits perfect on a slim stone ledge on our fireplace, but the sound as if I have 20 speakers in the room.
I'm impressed!! I get the quality of a $2,000 system for much less!

I wanted something for my outdoor insignia tv with a little better sound quality. It works great and mounted up with a rocket fish mount easy!

We don't watch a lot of TV but when we do I want to be able to hear it. My speakers in my TV went out and were making an awful noise. I went into Best Buy to buy an audio cable so I could hook my Beat Pill Speaker up to my TV and the sales associate recommended that I look at a soundbar. He was very knowledgeable about this kind of stuff and I took his recommendation and bought the soundbar. It was easy to connect to my TV and easy to operate. My husband and my son were very happy with my purchase! A happy husband and a happy son makes for a happy Momma! Thank you, Best Buy!!

This Insignia soundbar is good for the price Best Buy asks for. Pretty good sound for 39 watts and decent enough bass. Every once in a while it will sound somewhat "hollow". The only real downside is I CANNOT get any UNIVERSAL REMOTE CODES to power it ON & OFF, only turn the volume up and down!?

I just needed a sound system for my business computer. The Insignia RMC-SB316 was a good purchase at a good price to fill my needs. My interest was more in hearing things on my computer that came with no speaker system rather than the quality of the sound.

I got this as a gift for my mother this past Christmas (2016). We put it in a small media room she has in her house, underneath a 32" TV. It's easy to setup, increases the volume & bass enough to make a noticeable difference & doesn't take up much space. The Bluetooth feature is easy to connect to and use and gives her the ability to stream music from her phone while she cleans the room. It's definitely not intended for a big media room and audiophiles will know they aren't getting great quality but for a kids game-room or small setup this does the trick.

Needed a cheap soundbar that was fairly loud and that guests could hook up to via Bluetooth at the poolside. This worked great! It was loud enough to hear from patio on other side of pool without compromising sound quality or having a lot of distortion. When testing soundbar inside the house, it's a pretty crisp sound, good highs, not terrible lows. Granted, this isn't a high end Pioneer, Onkyo, Denon, nor a Samsung soundbar, but it does the trick in terms of loudness, clarity, and mobility. Best thing was the price paid. $33 w free shipping as I am elite member.

We've had difficulties hearing our TV at times and were looking to invest in a surround sound system for the living room. Went to Best Buy to look at them and saw this was on sale and decided to give it a try instead of spending hundreds on a surround sound. We were impressed at how powerful this bar was! It blends perfectly in front of our TV and fills the room perfectly! The extra plus to the bar is the Bluetooth feature! I'm more of a music junkie and love the Bluetooth feature! I'll play all my music thru it and just jam away! Couldn't have made a better inexpensive purchase!

I bought one new and one open box online. I would of bought both open box but I was drinking a few cold brews. The new one came first. I opened the box and briefly read the instructions and everything seemed ok, so I ordered the open box (I have bought many open box deals and a few in store display models). I put it together with no problem but there is a minor problem. The wall plates are on the speaker the wrong way and if you change them the sound bar would be upside down. It's not a big problem but I don't want to see any wires. The wires are flush down instead of being flush up. I was going to change the wall plates the right way but I can settle for what I did. Other than the wall plates the sound bar is great for the price and easy to use. It has 3 different inputs and one of them is Bluetooth. I use the sound bars in my bedroom and entertainment room (renovating entertainment room). I bought a Yamaha home entertainment system in the box for my living room. I recommend this sound bar for any room but you probably won't damage your ears/hearing but sounds great.
Unfortunately, I can't upload photo for some reason.

I bought this to help the sound of our flat screen. I have some hearing loss so this adds extra volume to what ever I'm watching. I also have it paired to my cell phone and use it for just a speaker when in the house. Its does not have all the bells and whistles that some sound bars do, but it works great and was a good price.

I have a couple of these soundbars now. One in my bedroom and one in the dining room. They have a good full sound. They are obviously not going to give you the sound of something like a Klipsh but they get loud enough for most rooms and still MUCH better than any built in speakers on your current TV models. If you want something that can also expand to connect a subwoofer, this is a good model for most needs. I kept my eyes open for a few months for the Insignia 10" subwoofer on sale. Found it and it makes a world of a difference to really fill the room with some bass. For the value, it would be difficult to find a better sound bar. If you hold out and save some extra money, you can definitely get better quality sound with some higher end models.

As I get older, I have a harder time hearing certain sounds especially in the higher, treble range. This sound bar was offered at a great price. I read the reviews then orded-- a no brainer. After I set it up, which was super easy, I turned on the sound bar. For the first time in a long time , I was able to hear the TV without having to turn the sound way Up! It has superb sound, especially bass. The only thing I didn't care for was the fabric that covers the front of the sound bar. It's a bit thin so be careful if your picking this up to dust. If your mounting this on the wall this shouldn't be an issue. For the great price point and great sound, with a couple of mounting options--- you can't go wrong. Would I purchase this again? Absolutely!

Overall nice upgrade to speakers on the TV. Needed this in the exercise room, good volume, extended bass to help fill the room and not sound tinny. Relatively medium sized, fits most anywhere. Simple remote and responds quickly to remote commands. This is my second unit as well for another TV area

bought the insignia 39 watt soundbar about a month ago to go with a 48" insignia tv.....for those who want enough sound to rattle the windows next door this is not for you...but the 39 watts this soundbar has is more than enough to compensate for any normal sound issues you may have with a larger tv...no more struggling to hear what is being said on channel X that does not come in as loud as channel Y....good quality sound, easy to get up and running, and well priced....from experience I can tell you that when best buy recommends a sound bar to go with your larger tv, you should save yourself a trip and go ahead and get one....or wait like I did and end up buying one later

"Great sound bar for the in house brand"

I heard some positive feedback from the insignia brand in the past. I Needed to bypass the weak TV speakers on a secondary TV. This is a really nice sounding bar for the sale price of $49.99 A nice looking bar, and would highly recommend for someone looking for a user friendly sound bar. Some nice features , "with simplicity in mind". Nice Stand buy light , when bar is turned off. Easy breezy connection for Bluetooth streaming through the phone. You can't go wrong, Insignia has made its mark in the entry level market. Make sure you only run the optical digital cable to utilize the audio to its highest capability. Audio in TV menu has to be on "PCM" 2 stickers on bar also state this for audio to bypass.

I honestly was always hesitant about sound bars, I'm old school so I am used to giant speakers with giant bass. I figured smaller and cheaper meant worse sound. But I was wrong. These speakers blew my mind. They have bass in them and have a nice loud volume (if you want). I will say though we tried the older style connection and it was terrible sounding compared to the fiber optic!
I never used fiber optic before either because it sounded a bit silly that it could have better sound, again I was wrong. You catch all kinds of details and a more crisp sound. Definitely worth buying a fiber optic cable for this sound bar!

Purchased this soundbar for my grandmother who was beginning to have difficulties hearing her TV's integrated speakers in her living room. I plugged the RCA audio cables directly into the cable box and instantly the sound was both far louder and far clearer than the TV's built in speakers. We had to use the sound bar's own remote for power and volume level to the sound bar. But, an extra remote was a small trade off to make to fix the underlying issue she was having. If you can find this sound bar on sale, it really is a good bargain sound bar.

When it comes to soundbars, I always take reviews with a grain of salt. They're never going to compete with surround sound systems. I look at them as ways to enhance the volume of my tv.
This one does just that. It's loud and has some bass to it. It has an input for a subwoofer if you desire. It's a great value at only $70 and will fill a fairly large room with sound.

Purchased this soundbar and was a bit skeptical but i refused to pay big bucks for one so i went for it and i am glad i did. Worked great right out of the box. The sound is crystal clear and the volume goes loud enough for my taste. Has different settings which you can adjust the sound to depending on what youre listening to (music, movie etc). I use it with my television but i mainly use it to listen to music. Easily connects via bluetooth to any mobile device. Thumbs up
