The Anker Aerofit 2 by Soundcore are open-ear headphones designed with soft materials for all-day comfort. These are worn over the ear for a pressure-free fit and feature 4-level adjustable hooks. At 10 grams, they're lightweight and fit 99% of all ear shapes and sizes. Since they tilt downward over the ear, they're also perfect for people who wear glasses. Since the "hook" portion fits over the ear canal, it's about 5mm closer to the ear than most ear buds creating a deeper bass sound. They offer 20mm x 11.5 mm "racetrack" shaped drivers for deep bass and clear mids/treble. Phone calls are easily answered with a double-tap and with 4 built-in microphones, conversations are crystal clear. Although they can be charged with any USBC cable, they can also be charged wirelessly by placing them on your wireless charging pad. A quick 10 minute charge can last up to 4 hours, and a single charge can provide music for up to 10 hours. The case provides additional power and can keep them charged up to 42 hours. The most incredible part about them is the AI Translation of more than 100 languages through the App, almost instantly, with high accuracy. If you've struggled with ear buds that won't stay in your ears, you've got to try these. They're so comfortable, sound great, and stay on your ears!

In the box are the instructions, the headphones, and a USB-C cord (no charging brick included). First Impression - These headphones are good for someone who is transitioning from using over the head—to inner ears. Comfort - The fit of the headphones takes a bit to get used too. Do note if you wear glasses you may have to spend extra time adjusting them so that your glasses and the headphones can fit around your ear. But once you get them on, they will not come off no matter how much you shake your head or move your body. The inner ear part has 3 different angles that you can adjust to fit your level of comfort. Tech - There is a tap feature (Tap the right ear twice to pause, Tap the left ear twice to skip), which I normally don’t like in headphones, but in these it’s nice because it isn’t super sensitive to touch. So you can wear your hair down without having to worry about it skipping or pausing your music. Setup - The set up is super simple, no app required. Just open the headphone case near the device and the Bluetooth notification shows up immediately. Even after you connect, as soon as you open the headphone case it connects to your device simultaneously! Battery Life - These headphones live up to the battery life, straight out of the box they lasted about 6 hours until I had to charge them again. But once I charged them it’s been well over 11 hours and I still haven’t had to charge them yet. The charging case is bigger than your usual size of earbuds case, but it’s still not massive enough to tell a difference. The charging case also lights up as soon as you open it. The mic on these are actually really good. You can take calls through these comfortably. Sound - The sound is really good, loud and clear, has good bass for them to be in/on ears—they’re definitely studio quality. Although they’re not meant to be noise canceling so you will still be able to hear outside noise even if you turn them up all the way. But with that being said, they’re also really good about escaping sounds. If the headphones are sitting in your ears correctly, even when turned up all the way others will not be able to hear anything that you’re listening too. Overall these are a good pair of headphones, the only thing I that I wished they had was noise cancellation! I would recommend these to friends and family and I would purchase again.

Soundcore Aerofit2 are a real surprise in the earbud market. At the price point they are a really breath of fresh air. They are very comfortable with the ear loops to wear all day. They boast 10 hours play time without a charge and I can confirm this is indeed the case. I can wear them all day at work without ever thinking about battery life. The open design of the earbuds is fantastic for listening and interacting with people. They also adjust a bit to fit your ear design since we are all a little different. The case is a wireless charge capable or USB-C as expected and works really well. Can easily get over 24 hrs listening time when combining the initial earbud charge with the case. Sound quality is really good for open design, I also use them for zoom calls and people tell me that I sound nice and clear. The mobile app lets you customize some button taps and see battery life the usual suspects here. They came with the most recent up to date firmware which is appreciated. I'm really blown away with these for the price point, I was not expecting to love them but I really do and they are my main pair that I wear everyday now. If you want an open type of earbud give these a try!

Anker AeroFit2 Open Ear headphones come with a integrated charging case which stores the heaphones and charges them. The base is wireless charging as well, and the earphones are held in magnetically. The headphones are rated at 2hrs and look like 2 jelly beans connected by a stalk. One part goes behind the ear, and the other sits outside the ear. They are very comfortable, and for someone who is not a fan of in the ear headphones, these feel excellent. Very light, comfortable and stable. They do not feel like they will easily fall off. They sit outside the ear so you can still hear most backgound noise including being called! The sound quality is awesome and has great natural sound. Base is decent, but mids really shine. For those who like vocals, these are perfect. Using the headphone for phone calls is also excellent. I did find in very noisy enviroments, they do not preform like inear earbuds but that is to be expected because they are 'open ear' and sit outside the ear. Battery life is decent, at about 2.5 hrs, which isn't great but acceptable. All in all these are very nicely designed, especially for the cost. They preform excellently and with comfort.

In the past I’ve owned two types of headphones, the traditional over-the-ear models, or the in-ear buds. The over-the-ear models were wonderful, kept great sound inside your head, and often blocked outside sound with noise cancelling. I loved them but of course they were bulky, and inside a protective case they took up much room in a backpack. The in-ear buds, were much smaller, even in their case they took up very little room in a backpack, and the newer models had great bass and noise cancelling. The problem I had was that they were tiring to wear for an extended period, some were better than others, but after a while they all really became uncomfortable. I heard about the Soundcore Aerofit 2 and WOW, this is the best of both worlds. The key word to me is “COMFORT.” You wear these and you totally forget you have them on. They have four position settings to best fit your ears. But of course, if the sound wasn’t good, this wouldn’t mean anything. I was AMAZED. The sound was pure, and the bass was excellent. I couldn’t believe such great sound was delivered without feeling as if I was wearing a pair of headphones. I’d say also that these are the opposite of noise cancelling headphones. You can hear EVERYTHING around you, which is important when jogging or whenever you need to be aware of your surroundings. These might not be the best choice for your next plane trip, but for everyday use, they are ideal. I also want to bring up an Aerofit 2 feature which knocked my socks off. The built-in language translation feature! After setting up in the Soundcore app, I could watch a Spanish language movie and it was as if I was at the United Nations, a female voice translated in my ears in real time! It supports 100 different languages. And there are two settings, one for when you’re just listening to a foreign language recording, as I was, and the other for a two-way conversation translation. All the above features at a very reasonable cost. Compare the price of these to other better known headphone manufacturers.

I really like the Soundcore Aerofit 2 earbuds. I tend to have a preference for full over the ear headphones as a matter of comfort. But it’s not always convenient, comfortable, or desirable to use full over the ear headphones, like when I’m working out or doing yard work. This is when the Soundcore Aerofit 2 earbuds are great. They don’t fit into the ear canal. They hook over the top of your ear and sit just outside of your ear canal. I was initially a bit concerned about how comfortable they would be, but they are actually very comfortable to wear, even for long periods of time. They sit very securely in my ears and don’t ever feel like they are falling out, even when working out. The hooks over the ear do not interfere with my glasses or sunglasses at all. Since the earbuds don’t cover your ear canal, you still have full sound transparency, which is good for situations when you still want or need awareness of what’s going on around you, like at work or at the gym. On top of all that, they sound great too. The earbuds do come with a Soundcore app, but the app is not necessary to connect to a device or use them and you are not required to create a Soundcore account either. The app does allow you to wirelessly update the firmware for the earbuds. The app also allows you to adjust the equalizer settings (I prefer the bass booster setting for music and the Soundcore signature for podcasts). You can also customize the manual controls for the earbuds with the app, such as double tap on the left to advance to the next track or triple tap to go back to the previous track. Additionally, the app gives access to the device manuals. Battery life is good, I haven’t even come close to exhausting the batteries. They come with a nice, palm-sized usb charging case that the earbuds magnetically click into and it fits easily into a pocket. Overall, the Soundcore Aerofit 2 earbuds sound great and are very comfortable to use, especially for working out and doing yard work.

The Good • Super lightweight and easy to forget you’re even wearing them, which makes them great for long listening sessions or workouts. • The open-ear design with adjustable ear hooks feels really comfortable, and they stay secure without pressing down on your ears. • Battery life is solid — you can get through a workday or a couple of gym sessions without worrying about charging. • Call quality is surprisingly clear, both on your end and for whoever’s listening, even in busier environments. • Price point is reasonable compared to other open-ear options, making them approachable if you’re curious about this style. The Bad • Sound quality leaves something to be desired — bass is a bit weak and overall detail isn’t super crisp. • Volume can feel lower than expected, especially in noisy settings. This probably has more to do with the fit: since the speakers don’t always sit in the “sweet spot” against your ear, you lose some clarity and punch. • Not the best choice if you want immersive music quality; these lean more toward casual use and convenience. Overall For the price, the AeroFit 2 headphones get the job done. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and reliable for calls or casual listening. They aren’t meant to blow you away with booming bass or rich, immersive sound, but they make up for that with comfort, practicality, and long battery life. If you’re looking for an affordable set of open-ear headphones that can handle daily use without fuss, these are a solid option. Just know that if audio quality is your top priority, there are definitely better sounding alternatives worth considering. 4 stars.

I have tried many earbuds over the years and have found there are pros and cons to each set depending on what you are using them for. I got these for exercising because despite claims from other manufacturers, they would come out or dislodge as soon as I started to sweat. I have tested these for a week now and these things will not fall off! I’m still playing with them to get the best fit. They do come with some rubber sleeves you can put on the piece that goes behind your ear but I found I didn’t like the feel. The app is very easy to use and makes it really easy to switch between sound modes. The app works as I expected. The sound is where it gets a little tricky. If you have listened to ear buds that seal in your canal, or over the ear headphones, the sound is very clear with good lows and highs. These earbuds sit over your ear, not in it. Due to that design you can’t expect that super deep bass or crisp highs. On the other hand, they do have the best sound of all of the others I have tried however, I got these for exercise, not spectacular sound. Overall, I think they are built well, don’t fall off, hold a very long charge, easy app, and decent sound. I deducted one star for the price being a bit high in my opinion.

If you're looking for a an earbud set for the gym or while hiking, seriously consider the Anker Soundcore AeroFit 2 Open Earphones. These earbuds park in your ear but do not go intside, so you are still aware of ourside noises (trucks, busses, etc.). They do not provide a solid inside the ear contact like most noise cancelling ones do. With that caveat, don't expect great audio. Instead you will hear solid midrange sound. Pairing this earbuds was a simple task: just open the case and go to your phone's Bluetooth connection and await for pairing in a a few seconds. It's that simple! These earbuds provide 11 hours of continuous use with battery life at 32 hours. Like other earbuds, they offer several play/pause options just by pressing on the earbud itself. While most in-your-ear buds offer several adapters to seal the buds to your ear, instead these over-the-ear buds offer a flexible bar on the bud itself. With this earbud, you can adjust the contact with your outer ear for best sound by physically bending the bar. As noted earlier, expect great midlevel sound due to the design of these earbuds. For the price of these earbuds, you definitely will not be disappointed.

TLDR Summary: The Soundcore - by Anker AeroFit 2 Open-Ear Headphones are very comfortable, sound great, provide better-than-most sound quality on phone calls. Add in solid app support & customization, a good mid-range price point and Anker reputation- go for it!! Context: I'm not an audiophile, but I've had the chance to try and review several different headphones and have some pretty strong and well-developed feelings for what I prefer and what I recommend. I almost exclusively use headphones only when I'm active and moving around- whether that be running, biking, hiking or just cleaning the house. As such, at this point I pretty much only recommend headphones with an over-the-ear-hook; I have yet to find a pair of earbuds that will stay in during activity to my satisfaction. Additionally, for outdoor activities, the open-ear design is great as one can still hear traffic, dogs, approaching bikers... whatever it is that one might want to hear. Pros: - all day comfort; I wore these on a 6 hour run/hike in the mountains with friends. They were on my head the whole time- sometimes listening to music, sometimes just sitting there as I chatted with others. I barely knew they were there. The adjustability also allows the flexibility of making them a little "looser" or "tighter" depending on your environment & needs - phone call quality: I test all headphones with phone calls & the results really are all over the place. Sometimes I'm told I sound like I'm in a well, other times I can barely hear who I'm talking to and/or wind noises really disrupt the discussion- none of that with the Soundcore - by Anker AeroFit 2 Open-Ear Headphones- they sound great and others reported no issues hearing me - for an open-ear design, the bass and overall sound quality is very good. There's no studio quality listening happening, but I think most open-ear headphone purchasers understand that. The accompanying SoundCore app also allows nice customization of the EQ settings as well as controls (which I enjoyed/used way more than I thought I would!)

(When you charge the case with the earbuds inside, both the earbuds and the case are charged.) I’m a huge fan of “over-the ear” earbuds as opposed to earbuds that are inserted into my ears. First of all, these over-the-ear earbuds are simply much more comfortable. And secondly, over the years I’ve lost several earbuds that were inserted into my ears while I was on my daily beach walks. Those inserted earbuds that I lost simply fell out of my ear(s) without me even realizing it. And, once I discovered that I was missing an earbud, in most cases, it was probably too late to find it since I didn’t know when/where it fell out, and even if I did, it would be next to impossible to find since it was most likely buried somewhere in the beach sand. To get started, you’ll want to connect the earbuds via Bluetooth to your phone and any other devices that you might want to use them with. My initial attempt to connect them via Bluetooth resulted in only one of the two earbuds getting connected. Several attempts to connect the other earbud failed, and I was concerned that I had a defective earbud. However, I decided to disconnect the one earbud that was connected via Bluetooth and then try to connect the pair again, and this time I was successful in getting both earbuds connected. I think it’s important to point out that there is no way to set these earbuds up to connect via Bluetooth; they’re simply ready to connect all the time. While that’s a nice feature, it’s also a bit confusing for those of us who are used to having to take some kind of action to prepare various devices for connecting via Bluetooth. In the end, making and receiving phone calls, and playing music with the earbuds inserted, resulted in clear phone conversations and pleasant music sounds. And these over-the-ear earbuds are comfortable enough that you could probably wear them all day and perhaps even forget that you’re wearing them. These earbuds are a great option for anyone that is looking for a wireless experience but has problems having the earbuds inside their ears. Our of the box they feel like premium models and well built. Setup was super easy and just what you would have expected from a nice pair of Bluetooth earbuds. It can connect to both my phone and my computer easily. The sound is clear and the volume is nice and loud despite the earbuds sitting outside the ear and there doesn’t seem to be any decrease in its ability to give a surround sound effect. I also love that they have wireless charging. The earbuds sit comfortably behind the ear and stay fairly firmly where they are. They aren’t quite as steady as in-ear versions so they stayed in fine when walking or running, but I did have a slight issues with them staying in place when lifting weights and laying down and getting back up from a bench. The only real issue I have with these earbuds is that the buttons are a bit overly sensitive and the design are made such that you really can’t put them in or take them out without hitting the buttons. That’s not really a problem as you are getting set up or when you’re done, but if you take them out temporarily to do something you can accidentally mess up whatever you were listening to. Overall I really like these and they are a great option for earbuds that don’t go inside the ear.

While open ear buds like these are fairly new in the mobile audio market, I have really grown to prefer them. Most modern earbuds have silicone or foam tips that act as earplugs to seal the sound in. While the sound quality is usually impressive, this style of "ear plug" buds can cause discomfort after long sessions. Some people, such as myself, usually start feeling pain after about 30 minutes. These open ear buds have been a game changer for me while at work, at the grocery store, and just in general with day-to-day use. They sit just outside your ear, with nothing actually pushing into your ear canal, so they remain light and comfortable, even when used all day. The sound quality is better than you expect, though open buds will not sound as good as over the ear headphones, or even some ear-plug type buds. They do not isolate your ears or block ambient sound around you, but they allow you to listen to music and take calls while being able to still hear your surroundings, have a conversation, hear the volume of your own voice, etc. I highly recommend anyone that struggles with typical earbuds to give open buds like these a chance.
