Stays on for workout, unlike Air Pods

I'm used to the old air pods. The newer lines are all thicker and don't stay in my ear as well when working out. Kept falling out after getting sweaty. There are a little strange to get used to because nothing is in your ear, and they sort of feel like they're going to fall out, but they never do. The sound is actually pretty great. This type of earphone seems to be known for not having much base (based on all the reviews I read), but the base is actually better than airpods, as these are designed to compensate for the fact that they aren't touching your ear. Airpods felt bassy only if had them really snug in my ear, which was never the case when I was sweaty and working out - they didn't used to fall out but they still lacked the bass if they were just sort of sitting in my ear. Overall sound quality is great and it gets the job done for working out!!!

The Soundcore AeroFit 2 is basically an open ear wireless headphones that functions just like any true wireless earbuds out there. There’s no cable connecting the left and right earbuds, so it indeed feels like using wireless earbuds. The design, however, is they’re biggest selling point. Open-ear earbuds such as AeroFit 2, are designed to help users maintain situational awareness. These earbuds do not block our ear canal so we can perfectly hear sound from our surroundings. The earbuds sit comfortably on our ears because the top part is hooked on them. No matter how hard I shake them, the earbuds won’t come off. There’s a bit of trade off with the design and I don’t really mind with that. I use the earbuds mainly to listen to podcasts and talking to other people over my phone. The audio quality for these purposes is great. Dialogue and voice from podcast contents sound great and my voice on the other side of the line sound clear as well. As for music, it’s passable although the headphone supports high-res audio codec. I think these earbuds are as good as they can get with an open ear design headphone. I would say one would have to look for a closed ear or in-ear headphones if audio quality for music listening purposes is on the top of the priority. Again, the open ear design is meant primarily to maintain optimum situational awareness so some trade-off in terms of audio quality would be reasonably expected. To maintain optimum audio performance, Soundcore recommends user to perform daily maintenance. It’s quite simple as all that is needed is to wipe the earbuds with dry cloth and using small brush to clean the speaker mesh on the earbuds. However, I don’t remember the need to do daily cleaning with so many of my other earbuds. I believe skipping daily maintenance won’t give harm to the headphones if some maintenances are performed every once in a while. I use my headphones for the entire day, and they don’t appear to get dirty easily after a day of use. The earbuds have IP55 rating, so some water resistance protection is there including from sweats. The headphones are rated for 10 hours of use on a single charge and 42 hours with the charging case. That’s pretty good to last for the day. Lastly, Anker made a really nifty app, the Soundcare. I like the app a lot as it unlocks several other useful features, such as 3D surround effects for movies and games, white noise and even real time dialogue translations for meetings and lectures. I tried the real time dialogue translation and it’s actually pretty good. Overall, I think Anker has time and again proven itself as a good value brand with products that perform well. Pros: Great for maintaining situational awareness Stable fit Great audio for voice and dialogues Apps provide many great features including live AI translation Rated for 10 hours of use on single charge IP 55 water resistance protection Cons: Not that great for music listening even though they support high-res codecs

I appreciate the case and buds’ matte black finish, which repel smudges nicely. The case lays flat in the pocket. The flexible over-ear hooks keep them secure—even during dynamic workouts. They’re IP55 rated, so sweat and rain aren’t a concern. I wore them until the battery died and never felt any discomfort. I even forgot they were there at some point. Battery life is decent: 8 hours on the buds (with LDAC at 60% volume) and the case adds 32 more. The case charges via USB-C and wirelessly (surprisingly), and shows a handy LED indicator. A 10-minute quick charge gives 4 hours of playback. The buds feature Bluetooth 5.4 with multipoint and works flawlessly across devices—no lag, no dropouts. Game Mode is available for minimal lag gaming. Call quality is decent. They pick up some wind, but conversations are still clear. The open design makes calls feel natural, like talking in person. However, the sound is the highlight. The 20mm drivers deliver rich, surprisingly bass-heavy audio with clear treble and slightly recessed mids. LDAC, combined with a HiFi source, elevate the experience even further. The open-ear design provides great channel separation and imaging. One must keep in mind that the open form factor can impact clarity in noisy environments. That means these are best in semi-quiet environments like the office or walking around the neighborhood and hiking. Spoken content like podcasts and audiobooks sound especially good. The Soundcore app adds EQ presets, firmware updates, battery info, and customizable controls. On-bud controls are responsive and intuitive. Bottom line: I’ve tested a lot of open-ear earbuds, and the AeroFit 2 stand out for comfort, sound, and features, which make it an easy recommendation for those looking for open-style buds.

Interesting twist on headphones - quality sound!

Today we’ll be discussing the Soundercore by Anker Aerofit 2 Open-Ear Headphones! This is my first set of Open-ear headphones, and as I wear them (I’m wearing them right now) I can barely tell they are there! So, they pass the comfort test right away and I even put on my cheater glasses to see how that would work - success! Even as I shake my head around they are stable and secure. I have noticed though that the Bluetooth range isn’t that great as they started to disconnect even just a few rooms away in my house. Other headphones can stay connected through my whole house. The next important thing is sound quality. Tested with voice calls as well as playing music – both provided excellent sound quality for me (the listener) and very good quality for the person on the other end of the phone call. They mentioned some slight echoing but nothing too terrible. There’s a custom equalizer to set your own preferences as well. Battery life seems very good – boasting 11-hour playback and 42-hour with the charging case battery. Good enough for a weekend camping without charging! Of course, they are IPX7 waterproof and sweatproof – something we all expect now-a-days from any quality device. I was curious and interested in one of the standout features of the AeroFit earbuds: their integration with the Soundcore app’s real-time translation tool. While the earbuds themselves don’t perform the translation, they act as a seamless audio interface for the app’s voice translation capabilities. Here's how it works: • Two-Way Voice Translation: You speak into your phone, and the app translates and plays the response through your AeroFit earbuds. It’s especially handy for travelers navigating foreign languages in real time. • Multiple Language Support: The app supports dozens of languages, making it a versatile companion whether you're ordering food in Tokyo or asking for directions in Paris. • Hands-Free Convenience: Because the AeroFit earbuds are open-ear and secure, you can keep them on while interacting with locals—no need to fumble with your phone or remove your earbuds. This feature pairs beautifully with the AeroFit’s open-ear design. You can hear both the translated audio and the ambient environment, which is ideal for street-level interactions, guided tours, or multilingual work settings. It’s not a replacement for full-on interpreter tools, but it’s a clever enhancement for casual, on-the-go translation. Overall – I like these headphones and plan to use them with the Spanish speaking workers I hire on occasion. I don’t think it’s a feature you can use during live voice calls though – maybe that’s a future upgrade!

Exceptional value for good sound and capabilities

Verdict: I was never really interested in open earphones, but I have come around recently. At the retail price, the Soundcore AeroFit 2 offers exceptional value for sound and capabilities. If you can get these on sale, even better! These earphones excel in comfort factor (wearing for many hours), situational awareness, and working out. Initial impressions. Thank you for including a quick start guide as soon as the box is opened! The case is someone bulky compared to traditional earbuds, but on part with other open earphones. Sound. Because these earphones are open, they are not as effective at low volume, unless you are using them for the purpose of white noise or background music. At mid and high volume, the sound is actually very good. Using the Soundcore Signature EQ, sound is good across lows, mids, and highs. In general, I do like a bit more bass in my listening, and I feel that I want a bit more with these as well. However, when using Bass Boost, I hear some distortions on most songs, and it’s more bass than I want anyway actually. On the custom EQ, I can get more bass without distortions. As with any open earphones, you can clearly hear external noises so these are not great for loud environments like airports, busy streets, etc. App. The Soundcore app provides great added features to enhance these earphones. The equalizer is capable and will support most people’s listening preferences. Control customization actually allows for the complete reorganization of controls for each side; thank you for that!! I can now match these controls to my other earbuds and headphones for a consistent control experience across my devices. Dual connections can setup a connection to another device. Gaming mode and 3D Surround Sound are cool, but probably not things I will use on these earphones, but nevertheless demonstrate their versatility. AI Translation is VERY COOL! The sequential translation works pretty quickly, allowing for a real conversation. The live translation is very capable, but runs about a full 10 seconds behind to ensure higher fidelity translations. This is a game changer for me for travel and some specific work; I am rethinking how I will use these earphones now to take advantage of this feature. In my testing, the “openness” of the earphones, and hearing the other person speak while I listen to the translation, was not problematic; I was able to still focus on the translation. Live translation worked well 3 out of 4 times, with once instance during which I could not hear the live translation in the earphones. To resolve, I placed the earphones back in the case, force-quit the app, and then relaunched. Running / Exercising. I took these on a five-mile run and they were fantastic. They remained in the whole time without any assistance or adjustments. Sound is great except in loud areas (like a busy street) and in windy areas. The controls work well, even when running, although I think I would prefer a physical button that I could also program for specific situations like running. I have had other touch earphones (not these) work erratically with sweaty fingers or when they get a bit wet from sweat or rain. I would not use these to run or workout in really loud environments (like on a treadmill), unless you specifically need to be aware of your surroundings. Work environment. I am really enjoying wearing these at work. I can answer calls seamlessly from my cell phone. I can hear music or look at work related videos while hearing what is going on around me. I can even have short conversations without pausing sound. For deeper conversation, pausing is very easy through a tap. I can also easily turn on AI Translation to listen to meetings in a different language (happens frequently), and see the live transcript on my phone. Pretty cool! Things I love: - Very comfortable; these can be worn all day without any discomfort - Excellent sound, but most effective in non-noisy environments - Good equalizer, but bass boost may be more than these earphones can handle - Excellent for working out, including running - Great battery life, with 10 hours on a single charge, and up to 42 hours with the case - The app adds significant value with custom touch controls, AI translate, EQ, and more - 18 months warranty! - The touch controls work well; it’s pretty easy to find the touch zone by aiming for your ear hole - Great for hot and sweaty days when traditional earbuds keep sliding out! - Connectivity to two devices (use manual pairing by pressing the button on the back of the case or through the app) - Very happy with voice calls on these earphones - IP-55 rating (sweat, dust, and water resistance) Things I don’t like: - Not great in loud environments or noisy activities (for example, running on a treadmill or walking through an airport) - Bass could be better Overall, the Soundcore AeroFit 2 are exceptional value if you are looking for open earphones. Yes, I have listened to open earphones that sounded better... but at this price point, the AeroFit 2 are really quite compelling for the sound, app capability, and AI translation function that these earphones offer. I most highly recommend these earphones.

The Soundcore AeroFit 2 are some of the nicest open earbuds I own, and they offer features my other pairs don’t. Sound: The quality here is very good and well-balanced. The highs are clear without that tinny edge you sometimes get. The bass is decent, though it doesn’t hold up compared to some of my higher-end earbuds. Fit: This is where the earbuds really stand out! This is the first pair I’ve seen that lets you adjust the direction of the speaker, which has been a big issue with some of my other pairs. The speaker has four adjustment settings that snap into place, so you can aim them exactly where you want. They also have a tighter fit, with a bit of weight at the end, so once hooked in they won’t move. I really like this feature, but they don’t “disappear” the way some of my other open buds do, as in I never quite forget I’m wearing them. App: The app is easy and intuitive, offering button customization, a wide range of presets, and an EQ. The standout feature is dual connect, which you usually only see with higher-end models. This means I can connect to both my phone and computer at the same time, a feature that’s hard to live without once you’ve tried it. Other notes: Battery life is phenomenal. I’ve been using these all week and I’m only down to 60%. The mic is good for phone calls, but it’s a bit hot, so it picks up external noise. This may be the biggest downside since you can’t adjust mic sensitivity in the app, and I often like to walk outside while on the phone. The case is also a bit bigger than I’m used to, but not to a concerning degree. Overall: I really like these. The unique features mean they’ll be part of my regular earbud rotation. I’ll likely designate them for the gym thanks to their incredibly secure fit.

The Soundcore Aerofit 2 are great open ear Bluetooth ear buds. As good as my V20i's are when testing them against the Aerofit 2's on the same device with the same song it is evident that the Aerofit 2's have more detail and clarity. I am amazed how good they sound for being on your ear rather than in your ear. You would think with such small drivers they would need to be in your ear. However, Soundcore has somehow figured out the acoustics of this type of earbuds. I say that because I am able to get good sound throughout the range from low to high. They are also plenty loud even in noisy environments. I can always still hear phone calls, videos or music without any issues. They also are very water resistant which is one of the main reasons I got into this type of earbuds. In the type of work I do I sweat all day when it is hot which is most of the year. Then of course the open ear feature is great for any work environment. The Soundcore Aerofit 2 Bluetooth earbuds are a great choice for anyone that wants good sound with the ability to still hear your surroundings. I have not had any issues with them from sweating on them and I do not believe I will either. If you are looking for some premium open ear ear buds you can't go wrong with these Soundcore Aerofit 2's.

I wear these everyday while WFH. They're my go-to for meetings, audio only things on my PC. I'd take off a half a star if I could for the Con (below): Pros: * Lightweight( I usually forget I'm wearing them) * Adjustable over your ear canal * Very good sound, esp. on Teams/Slack Calls, and audio (I've even been using them for PC gaming/Discord lately and they're not half bad) * Wireless charging case--need I say more? Battery life is surprisingly good, but the option to charge wirelessly and via USB-C is bonus Cons: (where I'd take off .5 of a star): * the touch controls can be SUPER sensitive, for example, if you lay them on the desk, then go to pick them back up(or even adjust them while wearing them), if you're not carful, you'll touch the control part (over the ear), thus changing the volume. I have it set to single touch for volume (left is down, right is up) and two touch for play/pause, no triple tap set up).

I needed COMFORTABLE earbuds to connect to my pc and phone simultaneously. These have much longer battery life than AirPods. It switches from both devices SEAMLESSLY. The bass is great on these. Phone calls are loud and clear. I work from a home office and I can wear these ALL day no problem. No ear fatigue. Worth every penny. I’d buy again and again.

Review of Soundcore AeroFit 2 Adjustable Open Ear Headphones. The AeroFit 2 at glance has nice sound enough for the type headset it is. From the usage for couple of days for running activities and calls, it did provide clear sound and conversation. In detail,: 1. Battery: 10 Hrs on Single Charge / 42 Hrs with Charging Case / Fast Charging 10 Min - 4Hrs (according to the specifications) 2. Hi-Res Audio 3. 20mm x 11,5mm Drivers with Bass Turbo 4. IP 55 5. Wireless Charging (Case) 6. Clear Calls with 4 Mic & AI Enhancement In the box: 1. The headphones 2. Charging Case 3. USB-A to USB-C Cable Setting up First it requires downloading its app and the usual process of any app, requiring account, then connect via bluetooth connectivity. This order is needed if want to use the features available via App like Sound Effects, personalize Controls of how many time tap and what functions., translations to name probably most used features. Otherwise, it can be connected without the App first, and start using as is with default setting. Fit & Feel Placing on the ear is simple as sliding between ear and the head, and can easily adjusted. It feels quite light and unless if paying attention to it, during the movement or activity doesn’t feel it is there. In the case of using it during running, it felt secure as per usage on two runnings of 1hr 20min and second run more than 2 hours. It didn’t shake or move around. The only factor might affected its perception I was waring sunglasses, but wihout it still was consistent. Sound Listening the music while in a silent environment feels nice, up and down of the beat and centered then evolving sense of the rhythm. And totally can be detached from the noise or even somebody talking. However the experience is not the same while running on the street. If a truck and cars pass by, the music hearing get mixed up to the noise form the street. And using it while running in the windy day, can feel the win passing through the listening making the music or podcast becoming second layer. Now, the experience of using it during running activity differs between the first run and second run. During the first run, at minute 25 or so, the sound only became available on the left side ear and the right side totally lost sound, and at some point could hear but as if broken radio transmission. On the second test of running more than 2 hours, it was totally opposite. It remained consistent without loosing any connectivity or loss of sound in either side. Controls It controls are on the hardware pers and from the App. From the hardware side, it is by tapping the assigned and very specific area. Hence require some memorization and get used to time to it. These functions are dynamic as can be changed from the App. For instance, with one tap on left side, assign to increase volume. Control from the App, allow to assign different functions based on number of taps. Up to 3 taps + Long Press for each side, then a separate assignment for the call specific but limit to double tap and Long press. Then form the same App can set different Sound Effects, but this is limited to 3D Surround Sound, Default, and Custom EQ for which can have multiple combinations and labeled. App In part is described for Controls. But it includes separate menu for Translation in three types available at this time of review: Rea-Time Transition, Face to Face Translation, Contextual Learning. Each are self explanatory, but for Contextual Learning consist of preset of translated words based on selected languages and type of situations or categories. These are Daily Greetings, Hotel, Shopping, Restaurant, Business. These preset transited words can be heard as being selected. Then the app offer options for discovery of type sound for situations for ease of sleeping, deep learning and so on. Battery Aside of the default specification, as reference, having 100% charged, after running 2 hours with continues listening, then 30 min of video call, both side of heads had left 70%. What I wish it were better: 1. Once the headsets are placed in the charging case, can’t tell what is the level of charging. As result, it needs to be taken out, place on the ear and grab the phone and check the status. Would be nice to know the battery level without all these steps. 2. If there is sound or connectivity issue during activity, mostly during physical or sport, it first to stop what I am doing to figure out why. For instance during running as per the test, removing one of piece and placing back didn’t work, nor tap it, then forced to take out the phone and start figuring out. The process totally interrupts the main purpose and force to shift the attention and creating frustration. Even, its usage of “AI”, didn’t result as if it is doing some level correction in the case. 3. Crash of the application. In certain usage, the app just disappears from the screen after selecting a menu. 4. Sound Isolation: mostly during the usage on the street, it doesn’t isolate totally. Although this might result from the type of headset is and possibly depends on point of preference for surrounding sound, would be good to have option to select it. 5. Charging cable is USB-A to USB-C. Would have preferred USB-C to USB-C. In short, for its category of price and being open ear headset, it deliver good sound quality that is above average, but it the controls and application that support its experience, then loosing the connectivity during the activity at lease during the short time of usage, make it non perfect but still recommendable.

I was skeptical about the sound quality but for me, everyday wear, I really like these. Buying earbuds have always been an issue for me as I have small ears. I found a JBL I love but after a couple of hours my ears are sore. I wanted to try these open ear and I'm not disappointed. The ear peice sits on the ear and has NOT moved. Sometimes I can't tell I have them on. Also, recently took them on vacation and while walking the streets every morning, I could hear my surroundings as well as having a good quality sound. I did purchase them on sale but I would definitely buy again full price. I had 1 time i had to reset, took 3 seconds, because my left bud wouldn't turn on. It took a total of 1 minute to get it back working while sitting at the airport.

I try just about every ear bud that comes out, regardless or brand so this non-induction but non-cuff and this Anker Aero Fit 2 open-ear headphones totally piqued my curiosity. Some highlights and lowlights before the review … Good: Slim Charging Case Positing of the buds in the case USB-C Battery Life Indicators Sound App Bad: Hit the buttons while putting them on Meh: Ear soreness (outside not in) TV connectivity issues Lack of wireless charging Some of the controls (hold) Accessories (cover/cable) In general, there wasn’t much “Bad” with these - there was one thing - but more like some things I wasn’t a huge fan of. Initial impressions are a smooth flat-bottomed case that has a close comparison in thickness to the Apple AirPods cases over time (in pics). Taking them out of the case was easy and popping them back in is simple and they are aligned properly for how you’d take them out of your ears. My wife said - “ha, those look like fallopian tubes” - and after I thought about it - she was correct! There is a USB-C cable and some stem covers - but I wasn’t able to use the covers as they got stuffed with air and I had trouble removing them - so I just put them back in the box. As always, I let things charge before I start using them and the light dot indicator does a good job at telling me what the charge is and when it’s done. A downside to these is that there isn’t wireless charging but USB-C is a close second. Pairing was simple as it was ready to go. Some tones vs voice prompts is a nice change - the direction of the tones let you know what’s happening vs some muffled voice prompts. Included in the packaging is a quick start guide, but it doesn’t have a QR code to get an app, so I rolled the dice, installed the Soundcore App & it was recognized right away and I started setting the actions on the buds to be the way that I like them (right forward / vol up, left back / vol down). To change the volume, the amount of time I have to hold the button for and how much it goes up / down isn’t good so I don’t think I’ll be using that. When popping them on, I was hitting the ‘button’ on each earbud and while a simple touch is fine when they’re on me, but hitting interacting with the earbuds before they’re fully on is a small but noticeable downside of these. The sound is pretty good and with some of the effects tuning, allow for a more customized sound. I found myself wanting to use the EQ more than other buds - I’m not sure that the “signature” sound is good for all types of music as it sounds a bit muddy. One night I decided to watch some TV with them on and my experience was pretty decent - at first. I could pause the streaming service like other earbuds but after a while, the sound started to glitch and to recover was cycling the Bluetooth connection. I am always paired to a Nest Hub Max via Bluetooth so the glitching is unusual and leads me to think it’s an earbud specific glitch. After a few hours and when I went to remove the earbuds, I found some ear soreness only on my left side where the earbud meets the Antihelical fold (I had to Google image it). All in all, I’ll call these a 4.5 star set of headphones from Anker, but I’ll round down due to those few minor points - but still recommended!

I wear these headphones almost everywhere I go. I use them for work, and I'm able to connect it to my phone and laptop for Teams calls. The sound quality is great, and the ability to hear around me is a great feature. They charge quickly in the case. Only gripe I have, and it's a very minor one, is that I wish the cable provided was a bit longer. Battery has yet to run out on me, even after all day use. Highly recommended

These open ear Soundcore are fantastic and not only is the fit comfortable, you can hear pretty good without it havingto be fitted into your ear as earbuds do. And the bonus is the Translation feature which works better than mamy other's that I tried which were more expensive. This pair is my second purchase from the brand which I am completely satisfied with.

Really happy with the Soundcore Open EarFit! The sound is surprisingly good for open-ear buds, and they feel comfortable even after wearing them for a while. Great quality at a price that doesn’t break the bank — definitely worth it.

Great headphones. Can wear them at work and still pay attention to my surroundings. I workout with them and never have an issue.

This product has amazing sound quality for open ear earbuds from an amateur point of view. My only gripe is that the user interface is reduced to just play/pause when you have only one bud in. Otherwise, I am greatly satisfied with this product! I use it mainly for casual listening and background noise while working.

Great sound and comfortable to wear. None of the in the ear models would stay without hurting. These do exactly what I wanted.

The sound is great; especially for not going directly into ear. Volume is appropriate. I did turn volume up and person sitting next to me did say that they could hear it which is the only offputting thing on these headphones

Comfortable, forget I am wearing them. Fit over the ear so sounds aren't muffled like those worn in ear. Sound quality is good for me and the person on the phone. Bought an additional set for husband.
