I want to start off with the fact that I used the first version of these on a daily basis for many months which is the main reason that brought me to get these. At this point I have been using them a few weeks and this is my honest opinion.
Now, I will say the pairing process was a bit different, so if you get these for the first time, please read:
1. Download the app first and start the pairing process in the app.
2. KEEP the pods in the charging case and press and hold the button on the bottom of the case until the buds start flashing.
3. Confirm the pairing for the Liberty Air 2 AND Liberty Air 2 (L)
If you try to pair them differently, they will pair as two different headsets and it will not work properly
Other than the initial pairing process (which will only happen once and you will never have to worry about it ever again) these things are amazing.
The case is nice and small and will easily fit into most pockets. The lid claps closed with a magnet and the pods are also held in with magnets, so the likelihood of them falling out is minimal. Battery life is great too, 7 hours plus and additional 21 hours with the case ensures that you will not need to recharge the case all too often. Having USB C on the bottom and wireless charging with the case are massive bonuses that make the case feel modern.
The pods themselves are smooth and light. Do be sure to angle the stems correctly to guarantee proper fit, pointing the stems at a higher angle helped me to get the tips to seal exactly as needed. The box includes plenty of other sizes of your ear canals are sized differently (my ears fit the medium tips just perfectly). Some people may not be into the stem that extends out, but the mainstream public have been wearing Airpods for years so they don't seem to care any more. The fact that these are black and gray help to make them less noticeable and I just like the style (even though I won't see them without looking in a mirror).
The sound quality really stands out. I enjoyed the first version of these pods and I enjoy this version as well. The app further improves the experience by allowing you to tune the sound signature to what you like personally and even allows you full access to the frequency sliders to tune the sound exactly as you see fit. I played my usual tests and played my favorite songs (Including Numetal, 80's rock, Electronic, Kpop, and others) and these pods can really perform. I enjoy the bass and volume quite a bit and feel that tuning is not necessary, but is fully possible for those that need a different signature. Do keep in mind that the app is not fully required for the pods to function, but they do augment the experience. On occasion I would get skips and cutouts on the signal, but that only happens when I put my hand over the earbuds or intentionally block the signal to my audio device (my phone).
So, other than the initial pairing process, these pods are simply perfect for anyone that needs a pair of truly wireless earbuds that have convenient charging, awesome sound, compact size and a great price to boot. $99 is half of what the Airpods with Wireless Charging Case costs and these are infinitely greater than those while offering the same exact features and then some.

Better Than AirPods Pro's

I purchased AirPods Pro's and the Liberty Air 2's. I then returned my APP.
I'll say from the start that there are two things the APP do that the Liberty's don't. And if one or both of these things are important to you, buy those instead.
You cannot jump easily between different devices with the Air's. You will need to unpair and repair to a new device.
There is no Transparency mode here.
Other than that, I can confidently say the Liberty's are better than the APP in just about every other category.
Sound quality wise I prefer the Air's. They simply sound better than the APP. Especially in the bass department. And this is with the signature EQ setting in their app, which they recommend you use.
Both the APP and Air's offer wireless charging, a tiny carrying case (that is matte black or white, and easier to handle than the glossy white APP case), and rock solid bluetooth connections.
AirPods are known for their excellent microphones and the Air's do a great job on that front too with phone calls. In fact it says 'flawless call quality' in big letters right on the front of the box, haha.
Battery life is superior to the APP with 7 hours on a single charge and 28 hours total. APP offer 4.5/24 respectively.
Fit-wise you have 5 silicone tips to choose from (APP only offer 3).
Controls are a mixed bag. On one front I think the APP are better in that they use force sensors on their stems that you squeeze. This is more accurate than the tapping required by the Air's. However you have the option of using volume controls by toggling this setting within the Soundcore app. (And yes the volume controls work well. But you need to hold for 2 seconds each time you want to go up or down a volume level.)
Also the Air's offer a Soundcore app that lets you toggle both controls and EQ.
The Air's do not have Active Noise Cancellation. But let me tell you this, I honestly felt this feature was overrated on the APP. I could still hear outside noises at times that I was surprised were not cancelled out by ANC. If you find the right silicone tips size for your ears, you will already have a lot of noise naturally cancelled out in that regard. That's why I didn't even mention ANC at the start of the review (but did mention Transparency).
Looks-wise, there is a black option! It looks so much better IMO than the white popularized by Apple. (There is still a white option here if you want your stems to look like AirPods haha.) But the black option looks so much sleek IMO and I know so many people wished the APP came in black or dark grey.
Finally, value. The APP cost $250 at retail. The Air's $100. That's 60% cheaper. And they sound better!
Please try these headphones out before you purchase the APP. I was going to keep my APP (even though I didn't like their SQ) and then thankfully I found these.

These are terrific truly wireless headphones. They improve on the previous version in meaningful ways and are probably the best value/quality proposition out there right now in truly wireless headphones. They are equal to or better than more expensive name-brand models in nearly every way.
PROS:
- Very good sound, with a very neutral profile. Bass is not over represented which is probably why some of the other reviews feel it's lacking. It's present and punchy but definitely won't crack your skull or anything; people who like over-emphasized bass will think they sound "thin." The sound isn't particularly bright (aka over-represented treble) either, so some may feel these lack "energy," but they are very clear. Really good sound for the price.
- Probably the best isolation I've experienced in headphones. Obviously it's not ANC, and I haven't tried Sony's new 1000XM3 to compare, but these passively isolate extremely well.
- Excellent battery life. I got 7+ hours on a charge and haven't had to plug the case in yet. Anker's battery claims seem pretty fair so far.
- Stable connection. Pairing isn't as easy as with AirPods, but the connection has been rock solid so far with a good connection ion distance.
- The case is small and better built than the previous model. It now rivals the AirPods for the most convenient case.
NEUTRAL:
- Fit is subjective. I really think they fit great, but others won't like the in-ear design compared to something like AirPods. They also lack the bulky design of some pairs that fit more in the pinna like the Jabra Elite 65t or PowerBeats Pro, so I felt less pressure on my ears with these. I'm generally a fan of the "stalk" design for this reason.
- Design is subjective. They are still light and made of plastic, but they feel better built that the previous version. I think the new matte finish looks great and I like the SoundCore stylized 8th note logo.
CONS:
- They do work in mono mode (other reviews have incorrectly stated they don't); right-only works as you'd expect. Left-only does work but can be trickier and requires some manipulation in bluetooth settings, Sio it's not flawless.
- They have trouble connecting to two devices at once. It works, but I had to go into bluetooth settings and manually disconnect from my phone to listen with my macBook.
- The control scheme hasn't been improved and still lacks volume control and can be finicky.

I've had mine for almost a year and this is my take on it.
Pros:
-Sound quality is good
-Price is good
-wireless charging or charging over USB Type-C
-Long lasting batteries and charging case holds about 24- hours worth of charging which I have never had to drain in a day.
-Comes with multiple eartips for a good fit and seal.
-Comes with good EQ options when you download the software
-Range is good for wireless
Cons:
-no tracking if missing; if you lose this, you are in for a bad time
-no accessories; no silicone cases or slings but i think its more of a 3rd party issue but do note this if you are looking towards buying it and buying accessories
-only comes in one color; I don't mind but you might
-may have connections issues; depending on the version of bluetooth your device is using. I didn't have any on my android device.

These ear buds sound great, decent bass and full range sound. Secure placement for exercise. Love the convenience of charging case in that they are always ready to go with full change. Great battery life. Excellent convenience of wireless charger. Excellent background noise cancelling of microphone...for example when talking on phone with 80 year old father while walking outside at brisk pace, windy day, etc, he comments on the background bird song and has no trouble hearing me. BUT after only couple of months of daily use the left ear bud frequently won’t charge in case...totally unacceptable...could be I got a dud. So far able to limp along with wiping contacts, multiple trials of placing bud in case and hoping for best....this was a 5 star product until this recent problem. Wish Best Buy were open to discuss this with geek squad and/or get replacement because I’d be ordering another set if I knew this was a fluke...

So sorry to learn about this, regarding this issue, please try the followin troubeoshooting steps: - Confirm the charging case has power left (press the button on the case and note if an LED is illuminated). If the case LED does not light up, please charge the case first. Connect the case with the included USB-C cable and plug it into a USB power source to charge it for 2 hours.
- Ensure all charging contact pins on the earbuds and charging case are completely clean and dry of sweat and water. You can also use cleaning alcohol for cleaning the contacts. Use a dry cloth to ensure the parts are clean and dry afterwards before using.
- Please place the earbuds correctly into the charging case. When you put the earbuds back into the case, the first and third lights on the case flash twice to indicate both earbuds are charging normally. Charge the headphones for 1.5 hours until they are fully charged. While charging the LED on the earbuds is breathing. When the devices are full, the LEDs will turn off.
Hint: Searching the following keyword on a search engine will bring you to a short video showing how to clean our earbud contacts on an older model for reference: MkbTerepwUk.

I am absolutely in love with these earbuds! They are truly wireless, have excellent battery life, are VERY comfortable and the quality is just outstanding. I really am blown away by Anker. The more I use them, the more I love them. I have become such a fan of this company as a result. I have a lot of faith in their products and would purchase again in a heartbeat. I look forward to the next earbuds I eventually buy because I can only imagine how great they will be. And you have to mention the savings when compared to Apple AirPods, which I’ve owned previously (2nd gen) and the Anker Liberty Air 2 are honestly better, especially because they come with the silicone buds so they actually create a good seal and secure fit into the ear without that constant feeling of worry that they might fall out like with the AirPods. I can’t say enough good things about the Liberty Air 2. One thing to note, when you first set up the headphones with the Soundcore app, be sure to set the default to “Soundcore Signature”. This will make a HUGE difference in your listening experience. It’s a little tip I came across and made a world of difference, so I wanted to pass that along.

I went through a few different earbuds before I chose these. I find the fit to be great for my smaller ears. Sound quality is great especially after using app to adjust. The pairing was a breeze and they connect effortlessly to my phone just by removing them from the case. The one thing they are missing is they could be a little louder.
I’ve seen reviews complaining about fit in one ear and not the other. Seems to me that if one side fits well it’s not the earbuds that are the issue here. Nor should the ear buds be negatively judged for having to “memorize” how to use the product. How you would not have to memorize how to use any earbud escapes me. You can even customize how those controls work. My calls seem to work just fine as I’m on the phone a lot during work. Again another reviewer mentioned a drop out occurred during a 45 min zoom call. Is this the ear buds fault? or the myriad of other reasons a zoom call could drop out. Just like it occasionally does on my laptop, kids chrome book, and a desktop computer. With earbuds being a product you can’t try before you buy these reviews are more important. Blaming the earbuds for a persons different sized ears or having to learn how to use the product seems like consumer problems rather than a earbud problem. I paid $79 on a price match and they are a great value at that price.

Still using these to this day. I love these earbuds. I hope they don't die on me because I can't seem to find them new anymore. The audio is great, the mics are great, but the best thing about them is the battery life. I usually put one ear bud in my ear at work and if kept at a reasonable volume it will last most if not all day. I love that feature as well, you really can use only one earbud at a time if you want. They both work for calls, so it doesn't matter which one you use. Wireless charging on the case is a nice touch, but charges noticeably slower than usb.
Oh, and the range on these is insane. I often leave my phone in my office and can travel to the other side of our warehouse without it cutting out. I've never had any other BT device with such a long range.

To be upfront, these were not on my radar when purchasing wireless earbuds. The ability to make calls while traveling and in noisy environments and being able to hear my caller and my caller not hearing my background is more important to me than having perfect sound.
My first pick was the new Jabra Elite 75t. These earbuds sounded great for music, but the mics picked up and amplified background noise so my caller would hear everything around me. On one conference call, the group asked if a co-worked sitting a couple desks behind me was on our call....Returned after 1 day and exchanged for the Anker-SoundCore Liberty Air 2.
After purchasing, I made a call and walked around a busy store, constantly asking the person on the other end of the call what they heard, and their response was.....nothing. So, I went to a louder store, still they did not hear anything. So far, so good. The next morning, I made a call from a very loud data center. The only response from the person I was calling was they said I sounded like I was yelling - if you have ever been in a data center, you know they are loud and you need to talk loud to hear yourself. The person I was talking to did not hear the background noise. Fantastic - I found a winner!
These are not perfect, but are very good. Here are my thoughts:
Pros:
Fantastic sound isolating microphone - blocks almost all background noise
Great battery life
USB-C AND wireless charging
reasonably priced
very good passive noise cancelling
either bud can be used independently for listening to music and taking calls
fairly good app with preset listening styles as well as HearID for custom settings.
Cons:
would be better if case locked shut. the earbuds are held securely, but the case opens very easy
T-shaped buds - not a fan of the style, but functionality over style (I am hoping the next generation of the Liberty Pro 2 is smaller and I will definitely try them as I like that style better)
fit in ears - this is subjective as everyone's ears are different and am still trying to find the right tips for the correct fit
no hear-through - with the passive noise cancelling working so well, a hear-through function would be a great addition for when you want to hear what is going on around you or talking to someone
customizable buttons on earbuds are sensitive - still getting used to that
Bottom Line: These are not perfect, which I have not found the "perfect" earbuds, but these give 200-400 earbuds solid competition for a lot less money. I would easily recommend these to anybody looking for a set of wireless earbuds

Overall good value for the money. Sound is overall pretty good. Doesn't have super deep bass or anything, but hopefully that's not why you're buying these. Battery life is excellent and the call quality is great as long as you don't wonder too far away from your connected device. I like that it has wireless charging and the case is very compact and portable. My only negatives would be they don't get super loud (loud enough for me, but I've had plenty of other earbuds in the past that get much louder) and I'm struggling to find an earbud tip size I like. The small seem to be a touch too small, and the medium seem a touch too big. The mediums are not that comfortable, however, if I'm not careful, the small ones have a tendency to want to come loose. Overall though, I feel that these are great truly wireless earbuds for the money!

I picked these up at Best Buy before the actual release date according to Soundcore's website. Figured I would give them a try.
Sound:
The sound was pleasantly surprising. Better than I expected for $100.00. These have pretty good Bass, Mids and Treble. Overall sound is pretty balanced and you can pick from many presets or go through the Hear ID tuning. The Hear ID sound tuned for me is very similar to the soundcore signature sound. Maybe just the way I hear....Having aptX is a bonus!
Calls:
The mics on these work really well and all feedback I've gotten from callers say I sound loud and clear. Also, you can use both or 1 at a time. Whichever you prefer. Left and Right both work independently.
Battery:
Battery life on these has been outstanding. I've listened for 6 hours and still had a bit if battery to go. (20% or so.) They also have a fast charge feature, charge for 10 minutes for 2 hours listening time.
Charging:
USB C and Wireless! Live that these have both.
Connection:
I have had zero connections problems with these and have gone about 40 feet away. Having Bluetooth 5 and aptX is a great combination.
Other notes:
Other reviews, some of these negative reviews I think are meant for the 1st generation which Best Buy still sells. They do work independently even though one reviewer says they do not.
Overall, these have all the features and pretty good sound. For 100 you can't go wrong. The only thing I feel they're missing is ambient sound. I do wish they had that feature but then the price would probably be a bit higher.

This is actually my fourth set of BT ear buds. I have two from Samsung and this is the second from Anker/Soundcore. I decided to get these as I was really impressed with my Life Note ear buds I use with my work laptop.
Quick list of features: four mics (two on each bud), excellent fit that won't fall out of your ears, long battery life, wireless charging for the case, great sound for both music and phone calls.
My main requirement was using these for phone calls and online meetings. With the imminent demise of the BT phone headset the next best option is ear buds or headphones. Since Samsung has pretty much deleted the headphone jack, BT wireless is really the best option. While the upper end Samsung Buds Live are nice, they are not the most comfortable for long periods of time. At least not for me. Not to mention who wants one to fall out and cost almost 200 to replace them. While cost was not the main concern, it is real.
How are they for my main use? Amazing! Most people do not realize I'm using BT. Crisp, clear sound as I needed. Literally six sets of rubber tips come in the box so you will find a comfortable and secure fit. Battery life is very good. While I don't test that I usually only have to charge them once a week. Wireless charging is not flawless but works well enough for me.
What don't I like? Installing a controller app for one thing. As if I don't have enough mostly useless apps on my phone. Some may find the fine-tuning controls a plus but I just want to use them, not tweak them. For those of use blessed with bigger hands it can be a bit cumbersome trying to get them out of the case. Not hard but there is very little room for removing or replacing them in the case.
Overall, these are now my new daily drivers. I love the sound and features of my Samsung sets but fit and comfort win out with these. And sound for music is pretty much comparable to me. So they make an excellent choice. Well worth considering at least.

The sound quality is better than my AirPods Pro. I also have the extra bass Sony, which has been my preference, and they are comparable in terms of sound as well. Bass is quite good for EDM folks. Does not seem to fall out easily at all so good with exercising.
I deducted one star is because apparently this pair of earphones is known to have prevalent bluetooth issues. Specifically, they are supposed to disconnect from your device once inside the case, but mine does not. I had to reset it, so far it works, but lots of people reportedly have the issue all over again, so will see. Otherwise, for the price, definitely better than AirPods Pro for me.

I bought these after breaking the case to my Jabra Elite 65t. These were about $80 cheaper, and sound nearly as well. I think the bass response may be a bit better than the Jabra. The customized sound is awesome, as well. What made me buy these over another pair of Jabra's, which I loved, was the ability to wear either ear independently. That was at the top of my list for a new pair, and these work wonderfully. The charge last for a long time as well. I've owned them close to a month, and have only charged twice. I use them all day at work, for reference. Over all, I am extremely pleased with the battery life, sound quality, value, and comfort. I would highly recommend them. The only thing I miss from the Jabra is the call announcements.

As with any earbuds, fit and comfort will depend on each individual user. However, I find these earbuds very comfortable and they remain in my ear. They are very light. I've owned them for about 6 weeks, and only charged the case once. Battery life is excellent. As mentioned by some other reviews, these earbuds aren't very loud. However, because of the noise-isolating design, I don't think they need to be very loud to enjoy music. One nit-picky negative, the touch controls can be a bit finicky. They are customized though. Overall, for the price they are excellent.

Good alternative to AirPods Pro but not quite completely there. They’re definitely more bassy than the AirPods Pro but don’t offer anc or pass through. They’re good for the price and last very long between charges. I could get a few days of use before having to charge the case back up. They’re like black AirPods if you’re into that. Pairing them was a huge pain. Had to look it up in a YouTube video. You can pair them independently or as a pair but affects their function if you take one or the other out. Something to keep in mind. This is why I ultimately got AirPods Pro.

After a few days of using these I am 100% sold. These are my first "true wireless" ear buds and I am thrilled by these. If you do not need the status symbol of Apple (or other "high" profile buds), or need more features than this brings, Anker is the way to go.
Sound quality is great (comparable to my Bose system in my truck)
Fitment is great (they give you a ton of different ear canal options)
Battery life is phenomenal (for my normal work day of coding, taking them off and going to meetings, and taking meetings on my phone)
They just work. If you don't need more than "just working" you won't get any better at the price point.

I think Earbud reviews are one of the hardest things to go by. There is such a wide range of reviews it is hard to know what to go with. When I was reading reviews, I would see a few good ones confirming the things I hoped/wanted, but then a bad one would highlight my fears and start me back over. I decided to do this review to at least help the average and give my perspective.
- I have had these for 2 weeks now and have used them at work, gym, and around the house. The gym is my main use and I go pretty hard in the gym (not trying to sound BROish just facts for review)
- I previously owned the Soundcore Liberty air 1’s but the left one kept disconnecting. I paid around $80 for the first pair. Although they started messing up, I 100% got my $80 worth in the 16-18 months I used them
- After 2 weeks of use I am VERY happy with the Liberty 2’s. I feel like the sound is way better than the 1’s with added bass. I use a Samsung s10 and setup and connectivity were easy and have had no problems so far.
- They come with 5-6 different size tips to help them fit in you ear. The ones that came on it worked for me, but I have options.
- I think the touch controls on the 2’s is far better than the 1’s
Haven’t done much with the app but you can customize some sound setting on there.
- I have made probably 20 phone calls with them and have asked the person if I sound fine and always get a “yes”
- Random – At first, I was thrown off by the case not being white and instead the color of a stone. After 2 weeks though the case has grown on me and I really like it.
- For $100 I think they are perfect for what I need. I’m not saying they are perfect for everyone one, but for the price I think they are spot on. I don’t think a pair of $200+ ones would have been 2 times as good.
- Hope this helps someone (earbuds are hard to buy based on reviews) I generally feel if I could get a full year’s use ($8.33/mth) that’s worth it and if they last longer it’s a bonus.
