Everyone in the family loves this Anker Soundcore Select Pro bluetooth speaker. We are fortunate to have a pool, so that is the primary reason why I got this speaker. I wanted to make sure that if the kids splashed water on it, that the speaker would keep playing. I also have Anker headphones, so I knew that this brand wouldn't disappoint and it hasn't! Let me tell you about other highlights of this small, but powerful bluetooth speaker. To begin with, it is very easy to pair up with your bluetooth device. You definitely want to download the Soundcore App to fully enjoy this speaker. Once you download the app you are able to customize the sound and the light show the speakers produce once you get the music cranking! When you start playing music, you will notice the clear sound that is produced by the dual drivers. In the app you can adjust the sound along with the bass. This speaker also posses PartyCast technology which allows you to connect up to 100 speakers if you want. Another added bonus is the lightshow this little guy produces. Again, you can customize the lightshow in the app. The kids love taking it outside at night to enjoy an audiovisual experience with this speaker. A single charge will last you about 16 hours, but you can recharge it very quickly. You know if you are running out of juice because you can check the battery level on the app. Overall, if you are looking for an affordable speaker that produces quality sound and you can easily take outdoors, then I highly recommend this Anker bluetooth speaker.

Anker/Soundcore portable speakers have always offered a ton of value for the price. I have owned several over the years, and this new Select Pro, and it has been as impressive as every other Soundcore speaker I have tried. The overall size is perfect for a garage speaker while working on your car, washing/detailing vehicles, or sitting out having drinks with friends. The IPX7 waterproofing is great for anything outdoors. I was pleasantly surprised that this speaker weighs less than you expect just from looking at it. The carry handle is great for moving it around easily. Sound and performance are as expected from a Soundcore product. Music is clear and punchy, with plenty of bass. The real star of the show, as always, is the Soundcore phone app. Fully adjustable EQ, power save settings, etc. let you customize the sound and features of their speakers quickly and easily. I'm not a huge fan of the canned EQ settings Soundcore offers out of the box, as I prefer much more mid range and treble. But this is easily fixed in the app, and is a pleasure to listen to while relaxing or working around the house. Battery life will easily last you all day, or a couple days as long as you're listening at a reasonable volume. Most claimed battery life numbers are based on ~50% volume, which isn't a problem for me since I never listen to any portable speakers at full volume anyway. I highly recommend this speaker!

What do I like about Anker Soundcore Select Pro Bluetooth Speaker ? It’s like an old school small boombox from back in the day except with modern touches like Bluetooth 5.0, the ability to charge another device, LED light show, companion mobile app, wet proof with IPX-7 protection. The speaker has a handle which is molded into the body of the two speakers which have a bass reflex rubberized material at both ends. You can setup a basic strobe/light show and can control it via the mobile app or on the device via a button. The basic buttons include from left to right; a bass button for enhanced lower end response, a Bluetooth button for pairing, power on/off, light button to cycle through light patterns or turn them off. In addition, a multipurpose button for volume up/down, track back/forward. On the back is a rubber grommet which covers a USB-A plug for charging other devices and USB-C for charging this unit. As for the speaker, it sounds good with surprisingly decent audio quality, with extra bass if you need it. I was surprised on the amount of sound which comes from this fairly compact speaker, with little distortion even at high volume. The battery lasted me near the claimed 16 hours, with mostly moderate volume use over the course of 10 days or so of playback sessions of about 2, 3, 2, 4, 2, 1 and 2 hour duration before needing a recharge. Speaker build seems pretty robust with waterproof protection which allows it to essentially get immersed in water. Although this speaker is meant for outdoor situations, I can see sand being an issue in the traditional looking grill, although I guess you could wash it out if you wanted. Note: I couldn't figure out why this speaker seemed to slide on surfaces until I looked on the bottom which had grippy rubber feet hidden under some protective film which is meant to be removed. Pros: - Form factor, handy compact size easily held with one hand - Sounds good, with a extra bass feature - Charging give/take plugs on the back of the unit - Basic light show Cons: - Black color might get hot outdoors in the sun or at the beach.

Anker Soundcore Select Pro is a compact, waterproof portable Bluetooth speaker. It comes with a handle and the lightweight design helps with easy carrying on hikes or beach days. The speaker is charged via a USB C cable that is included with the unit. You pair your phone via Bluetooth and use the Soundcore App to change the sound settings. The speaker incorporates LEDs that syncs with the music and lights up the atmosphere. Being IPX-7 rated, this speaker is fully waterproof and you don't have to worry about it getting wet. The power, lights, volume controls can also be done using the physical buttons at the top of the speaker. The advertised battery life is 16 hours. I was able to use it for couple of hours every day of the week and haven't recharged it yet. Another useful feature is that you can use this speaker to charger your phone through the USB A port. This speaker can be paired with upto 100 speakers for large parties, but the downside is they are not in stereo mode. Although not a dealbreaker, I wish it had NFC for quick pairing. Overall, if you are looking for a portable rugged speaker in this price range for indoor as well as outdoor use, consider this one.

This speaker has a lot of performance! I use this in the basement while I run on the treadmill and as my peloton speaker.

Good speakers to listening music , be happy my kids happy too

This speaker has blown my mind, I have not heard of this brand so I was excited to try them out and I was not dissapointed. The speaker has an amazing sound. Its a fun speaker for any party because of the changing lights it has. Most important feature is that its waterproof!! For me thats a plus! You can customize your speaker with the App in which you need to create an account, not really needed unless you want to customize the sound and change the rhythm of the changing lights . Its so easy to pair up via Bluetooth. It comes at a size of 12''x6'' pretty good size for a speaker to carry around anywhere and it also comes with a handle. At its highest volumen it sounds great and I have other speakers that when they are at its highest volumen them just sound super cheap, but not this one. I recommend this speaker to a friend , its definitely worth the price and it has soo much to offer!!

This thing has a rumble to it. I used to be a big fan of JBL portable Bluetooth speakers until I got my hands on my first Soundcore speaker which was the Flare. I was impressed with the quality of the sound coming out of the small cone speaker. After that, I went to the Flare 2 which managed to sound even much better and louder too. One of my favorites speakers from Soundcore was the Motion Plus. The sound coming out of that speaker was amazing. Even though the Motion Plus has a much more clearer sharp sound the Select Pro makes up for the bass it’s able to reproduce. What I’m most impressed with the Select Pro is how nice the bass hits. It hits more like a subwoofer punch with that low-end rumble. For the size of a boombox, it’s impressive how loud it can get without the bass suffering much. It sounds great out of the box with the default signature equalizer. I definitely recommend messing with the equalizer to bring out if you find the default setting to be a little bit too warm for your taste. I ended up adjusting the equalizer to have a much brighter sound without it being harsh. Overall it’s a good quality sound that it reproduces with clear trebles and vocals accompanied by that deep punchy bass that has a small rumble to it. One way to put it there’s more detail to the bass that I haven’t heard from a portable speaker. It will definitely have a large room bumping if you put it by a wall so the sound can bounce off it. The first day I got my hands on it, I ended up using it for a good 6hrs trying out so many different genres of music. Battery life is very solid I would estimate my usage around 60% volume with custom equalizer and for the most part with the lights on. Each day I used it for right around 5-6 hrs for it wasn’t until around the 3rd day after an hour of using it the battery started to show it was low. I would estimate around 9 to 10hrs of usage. You might even be able to get this number higher by shutting off the lights. The battery is solid and should be sufficient for an entire event or party. The IPX7 rating means that the Soundcore Select Pro is waterproof when submerged in water at a depth of one meter, for 30 minutes. So if it falls on the pool or lake no worries it’s fully buoyant. You also have the ability to charge your phone if needed. Charging is done via a USB C cable. For me using my 25watt charger from my Note 20 Ultra phone it took around 2-3 hrs for it to fully charged. Another thing you can sync up the sound and lights up to 100 of these. I’m sure a couple of these would sound pretty crazy good. Overall I don’t think there’s another speaker around this price range that can top what the Sound Select Pro offers. Good battery life, excellent protection from water, and a sound that will leave you impressed. For the second version, I hope Soundcore adds the tweeters from the motion plus to make the sound even so much better. Speaker was nice and loud for the size. However, after only 2 days of owning and using, unless plugged up, it would shut off only seconds after turning on. We tried to reset bluetooth, turn speaker on and off a few times, everything we could think of but nothing worked. Was pretty disappointed.
