    Decent budget headphones

Anker used to make fairly good budget headphones so I was excited to try out the Soundcore Space Ones. There are ALOT of reviews out there. I believe Anker was aggressive with the sponsored reviews this time around. This is concerning. Out of the box, there are not any surprises. The formula for headphones these days are the same for all brands these days. Shiny headphones that fold for some portability. The build quality seems decent. The frame is all plastic but seem heftier than you think. Alot of these headphones just put in random metal to increase the weight to trick people into thinking they are higher quality than they actually are. Honestly, only time will tell how durable these actually are. Connectivity is easy. I immediately connected to my phone and played a bunch of songs. I have to say, the sound profile immediately out of the box was just wonky. The mids and trebles just don't hit the spot. It sounded tinny to me. Alot of the reviews say you can customize the EQ but the average person buying budget headphones will not be playing with the EQ settings. Even with playing with the EQ, I could not quite get it to sound the way I wanted. The ANC is decent for the price. I hate that phrase but there really isn't any other way to phrase it. It struggles with cancelling out lower frequency sounds to the point that my wife thought the ANC was not on when I was talking to her. If you raise the volume, then you can drown out most things. All in all, these are decent budget headphones. If you are willing to pay just a tad more, then you can get significant jump in quality with other options. I do think alot of the sponsored influencers were very generous with their reviews.

These are incredibly comfortable headphones, and have a ton of features in the app. The noise cancelling and battery life are both top notch.

THESE ARE DEFINITELY SUPERIOR TO THE STANDARD SBC CODEC OF BLUETOOTH, THANKS TO LDAC SUPPORT FOR HIGH RESOLUTION AUDIO VIA WIRELESS TRANSMISSION AND THE FACT THEY CAN BE USED EITHER WIRELESSLY OR WITH A WIRED CONNECTION! BEST $100 I'VE EVER SPENT - POSSIBLY EVEN BETTER THAN THE BEATS STUDIO PRO (WHICH DON'T SUPPORT HI-RES BLUETOOTH AUDIO, ONLY SBC OR AAC)! :)

    A phenomenal noise cancelling headset

The Soundcore - Space One – Black is a phenomenal noise cancelling headset. The first thing done was to install the soundcore Space One app from Google Play. It is truly a plug-in-play device. Once I pressed and held the power button on for three seconds, it immediately began to pair with my phone through Bluetooth. I tapped soundcore Space One and was connected. An automatic firmware update through the soundcore Space One app was processed. The soundcore Space One app controls all of the great functionality of the headsets sound. With the app I can control ambient sound modes (Noise Cancellation, Normal, Transparency Mode), adjust the EQ settings, apply Sound Effects, set Wind Noise Reduction, enable Easy Chat, check battery level, etc. The ear pads are extremely soft and cushiony. My ears fit inside the ear pads with no tightness or discomfort. They can be adjusted to fit tight or loose, depending on your preference. The soundcore Space One app gives my ears an experience similar to viewing a movie in an IMAX theater. I can differentiate amongst all the different sounds clearly. Included with the Soundcore - Space One – Black headset is a 3.5mm AUX cable for listening to a wired device. The Soundcore - Space One – Black headset is a plus for me.

I have a few other over-ear noise cancelling headphones: TLDR is that these are the cheapest model I've used and they do demonstrate that: but if you want to spend less than $100 on a pair of good over the ear noise cancelling headphones I would pick these. The noise cancelling is adequate, it's not the best I've had but it better than my premium ANCs from 2018. I didn't like the out of the box sound balance, and I did notice that the noise cancelling isn't as effective in the treble ranges so it can be hard to hear that part of your media as well. The overall sound quality was less than either of my other over the ears, and I noticed but being reasonable these are roughly 1/2 the price of any other model I have now and while the others are better, "twice" as good is a very subjective threshold that I don't think my other pairs meet. I do think you need relatively small ears for these to be a choice for you, I found the cups uncomfortable and the driver rubber my ear but my wife who is more petite didn't have any problems. I do want to acknowledge that they weren't very effective for calls, if I was anywhere but my on quiet home it was difficult to hear me and overall the microphone quality was worse than if I was just on my phone, I heard everyone else well though.

These won't blow you away with their sound quality, but for the retail price they are an excellent option for ANC wireless headphones for everyday use for those people who don't feel like spending several hundred dollars on ANC headphones. The overall sound quality is fairly balanced, but these don't get extremely loud. You may find that you have the volume turned up higher than other similar headphones you have used in the past. This is kind of par for the course for Soundcore wireless headphones. The bass capability on these is decent, but they won't be the headphones to pick if you really want bumping bass. The ANC on these headphones is above average in this price range. It won't completely block out the outside noise, but it does a good job of lessening the world around you to a certain degree. These also have an ambient mode that allows you to hear the world around you, which I find I use as much or more than the ANC. The sound quality doesn't change much when the ANC is turned on, which seems to be an issue with some of the lesser priced ANC headphones. These are also co.parible with the Soundcore app.

They sound a lot better than you would expect, especially when compared to the competition. Would definitely buy again if they broke. Bassy enough if you love bass forward sound but can’t afford $400 headphones.

    Good Headphones

Great headphones and noise cancellation, but the sound wasn’t the loudest, but very good for quiet areas or like a library, but on the go or working out, the sound isn’t loud enough for me, and the bass is very light even with the equalizer.

delivers an immersive audio experience that rivals some of the top-tier headphones on the market. Comfort is another area where the Space One shines. Overall, the Soundcore Space One headphones offer an exceptional audio experience that rivals that of much pricier competitors.

I bought these for my husband. We live in a one bedroom condo with a small study. He often works from home and these headphones are perfect for shutting out noise from the kitchen/living room area. Sound is great. Easy to understand directions and reasonably priced!

For the price point this is an OK headphone. I have tried over the ear headphones that have way better active noise canceling then the sound core, however, sound quality is great for a $99 headphone
