---SETUP--- The setup of the Soundcore was simple. Turn it on the first time (comes with enough charge, though it’s recommended that you fully charge it) and it automatically goes into bluetooth search mode. Your device should find it quickly and you can pair it. ---FEATURES--- One of the best features is that it is has an IPX7 rating. What that means is that this speaker is waterproof and can be fully submerged underwater for up to 30 minutes in a depth of 30 meters. I threw mine in a tub full of water and left it there for a good 25 minutes because I forgot about it. I went to take it out and the speaker is just fine. May be linked wirelessly to other speakers with the same feature to create a louder sound. ---PERFORMANCE--- The performance of this speaker is on par with other speakers of similar price. It is loud enough for a small room or to have it by the pool area. During a party, though, one speaker alone might be drowned out by chatter. This speaker has the ability to pair up to multiple speakers of the same brand for a fuller sound, though I wasn’t able to test this as I only have the one. ---EXPECTATIONS--- The product meets my expectations. You’ll find that having a full waterproof bluetooth speaker comes in handy more often that not. This is my third fully waterproof speaker and I always keep one in the shower area, one in the pool area, and one in the kitchen sink area. ---VALUE--- The price for the speaker in terms of value is approachable for its power. If you plan on getting two, you can take advantage of the multi-speaker link system. ---APPROVAL--- I highly recommend this product for people who will keep the speaker near water and close to them. Unless you’re buying multiple, I wouldn’t recommend just 1 for a party. Otherwise, though, it is a pretty good speaker.

This is a compact 360° bluetooth wireless speaker but don’t let that fool you. Sound is amazing for such a small device. The colored lightning ring at the bottom is a feature I have not seen in other products. Very festive and ideal for parties. Some folks have two of these for stereo effect. But not me. Very happy using a single one. 12 hour battery life much appreciated. Can take up to 3.5 hours to reach a full charge tho. Don’t need water resistance but could come in handy someday. Bass Up mode doesn’t seem to work as well as desired. App would only let me view the Owner’s Manual so must be a work in progress. Also no Aux cable included. All in all a good speaker that doesn’t take up a lot of desktop space and can be used on the go. I recommend it.

This is a little speaker that packs a punch! Nice small size but large sound. Cranking it up, it still has great sound. There is a little light show that you can display at the base of the speaker, but personally, I had no need for that and was thankful it was easy to turn that feature off. It easily synced to my iPhone via Bluetooth and I was able to play my playlists. There is an app you can use with this, but I had no need since all the controls were on the speaker and easily accessible. They say it’s waterproof, but I didn’t test that out. Very affordable nice looking speaker with great sound. I would definitely recommend this.

The short review: Great sounds, paired quickly with my iPhone, decent base and battery life impressive. The long review: I know Anker more as a company for cheap cables not for audio. So had some reservations. I was worried for no reason as they sound quality is great for the price. Don't expect this to be BOSE like quality, but it's still good sound. The Anker Flare boasts 360 sound, which plays out the sound in every direction. Perfect for a party situation. In my tests, I couldn't find any dead spots so the 360 sound works as described. I didn't test for waterproof even though it's IPX7 rated (30min underwater) but given the rating, I wouldn't hesitate to use this on battery in a bathroom. The light effects are OK, I'm not a huge fan of light effects but it can be disabled. The light effects are not a reason not to buy as most speakers come with some sort of light effect these days.

I'm just going to jump into it, This Soundcore was not a good experience with me at all. While yes I like the design and the nice colored LEDs it comes at a big price in which I don't think they are worth the sales price. The Soundcore speakers are nicely designed. They also feel nice in the hand to hold from the material they use. When they work they 360 sound spreads around evenly. The Bass is strong and you can even increase the tone but in my opinion, it's still not strong enough. The good news here is that the speakers are waterproof according to the packaging, I wasn't able to get this far to test due to the issues I had with the speakers. The Color LEDs are pretty and give the speakers personality. there is an app you can change certain settings of the speaker colors for iOS and Android. The Soundcore flare has an AUX port on the back next to the charging port which I am thankful for in this day in age of Bluetooth. Now on to my problems. Charging the speaker and using it at the same time causes the speaker some issues in the speaker itself. Static sound starts off low letting you forget the issue but it gets LOUDER over time. Even worst if you have the color LEDs on you will hear an annoying buzzing sound kick up to unbearable levels. This isn't an issue for people who just want this speaker to take on the go and only charge it when it's not in use. It seems to work fine only when not charging and playing. After having this issue I no longer use the speaker and put them back in the box. I like the Soundcore speaker but there are too many other BT speaker manufactures today that can get this basic concept right and Anker cannot. many others that are worth your money even on sale.

Plain and Simple...this speaker is an AMAZING value. This is my second favorite bluetooth speaker I have ever owned. That being said, my favorite bluetooth speaker isn't as portable and currently sells for $599 so any comparison between the two wouldn't be fair. As soon as I received this speaker I plugged it in to charge and have been using it pretty heavily the last few days. The battery is still on its initial charge, which is huge for a bluetooth speaker. If the battery doesn't last, it loses a lot of it's usefulness. I am several hours in and have no signs of the battery giving up yet. The design and appearance of this speaker is very simple, which is a nice touch. I'm not a huge fan of "Look at me!" aesthetics, and appreciate the adult appearance of this speaker. The power and bluetooth connection buttons are on the back, along with sound controls on the top. The buttons have a soft feel, which feels like quality. The most important quality of a speaker is the sound. This speaker delivers! Unlike other speakers I use, this speaker doesn't belong in a corner. Put it in the middle of the room! It's not quite true 360* sound, but it is darn close and will fill any room with music with a quality sound and will lift any gathering into a party. This speaker also has the ability to pair with another Soundcore Speaker and create a stereo. I only have one, but I am looking into getting another to elevate this listening experience. I have noticed the speaker struggling a little bit with heavy bass when turned up, but not bad. Again, for the price point, this speaker greatly exceeds my expectations. I would definitely recommend this speaker for any one or any occasion short of a concert. I cant wait for summer so I can put this out by the pool and party!

I already purchased one of these speakers in black color, so I know what they can do. The speaker has incredible sound quality, and really is 100% waterproof - I know because I dropped mine into the pool. After fishing it out and shaking the water off, it was absolutely fine. I don't really use the light function a lot, but the bass up function works very well. The battery life is amazing, and I recently found out you can pair two of them together (conveniently stated in the instruction manual, but of course I ignored it). I was going to wait until they went on sale to buy another one, but I couldn't help myself and had to jump on it when I saw that they're now selling it in my favorite color blue! I'm going to update this review with my experience of the two speakers paired together once I get the blue one, but even just having one, I am blown away for the quality of this speaker vs the price. In my opinion they could sell this for $100 easy, so grab one while you can!

The Bluetooth connectivity is awful. Only two stars because it’s great poolside when it worked for weeks

I purchased this Anker Flare due to its high rating on TechRadar. However, it did not pair with my phone, my computer, my friend's phone, or my other friend's phone. Thus I had to return it.

Impressive sound and really nice to look at. This speaker can bump out some serious sound and I'm loving every second of it. This unit has the accompanying LED lightshow at the base which is a very nice look whether it's day time or in a dark room. Anker went the extra mile with this speaker to make it look sweet and offer a good value for the quality. The speaker is encased in an Amazon Echo like cloth textured speaker for the 360 degree speaker. The speaker paired really quickly and easily to my iPhone device. The bluetooth has great range and remained connected from a good 25 feet away. This speaker also has buttons on top that are easy to press and navigate. Control the LED lights on/off, volume and skip function. I feel like this is a great speak that can fit in many different situations. I think this speaker would be nice in a living room, office, kitchen, dorm room, or bonus room. The speaker is compact and really fits into any room easily and will look good. Will definitely not be a distraction, but will be a very nice addition to the landscape. Enjoy this device, and I'll be sure to suggest this to anyone else as it's a great value.
