Anker is leading the way in proving that well made ear buds don't have to cost a fortune. The Soundcore Life Note 3i is a great basic ear bud well equipped with features expected of larger ear buds. In the box is the charging case, ear buds, charging cable, sm/med/lg sized tips, and quick start guide. Setup is a quick plug and play, however to access features and equalizer you have to install the Soundcore app. Once the app is installed pairing was quick with my Android phone. App features include button tap / hold customization, ambient mode, battery status, equalizer with multiple custom save sound profiles using the eight range settings adjustability, and settings where you can update firmware or turn on voice prompts. Traditionally I have low expectations for sound depth and high / low range quality with ear buds, however after adjusting the equalizer settings, I found that the sound was better than many similar design ear buds I've tried. With equalizer settings I was able to improve the sound profile to get a bit more bass without completely losing the high ranges. In ear controls are as expected, the app allows customization for two inputs, a double tap or a long press. Functions that can be assigned are volume +/-, previous / next, play / pause, and voice assistant. The control is a physical button, so there is no issue with tap versus hold. The controls respond as expected and are responsive enough that I can use while running without requiring much thought. The ear bud with med size tip sits snugly, and comfortably, in my ear, such that I can run, do chores, and use the tractor or ATV without them falling out. I also like the ability to use a single ear bud, and adjust the button press options to be effective without having the second ear bud in. Additional features include 9 hour battery, or 36 hours with a fully charged case, hybrid active noise cancelling (ANC), voice assistant, water resistant, and sound customization via the app. The ANC is on par with some of the larger footprint ear buds I have, meaning that ANC is obvious and reduces sound bleed through from ambient noise in crowds / traffic, from machinery, and from the obnoxious background music at the gym. So, lots of great stuff about these ear buds, music quality is solid, ANC that works, lots of options for customization. The only drawback I found is that while the 4 built in microphones pick up my voice well, they also pick up a lot of my background noise during phone calls. I think these may be a challenge for frequent phone calls in a noisy environment. Otherwise I like them so much I keep a pair at the house and one at the gym, they are my new go to favorites.

These are the best earbuds I have ever tried. Earbuds make it easier to listen to music. I wanted earbuds that will stay in my ears, no matter what I am doing. I am very impressed with these, it actually stays on even when I am working out e.g. running, brisk walking, and other exercises all around the gym. It has excellent sound quality & fits nicely around my ears. I was able to put it on for a longer period as compared to others. It does a great job with the calls as well. The audio quality is impressive and noise cancellation works well too. The advanced algorithm recognizes and removes background noises effectively. Not only this, it has a multi-mode cancellation option that eradicates irritating noises while being inside, outside, or on the move. This has a great battery life that provides upto 7 hours of playtime per charge and 35 hours from their portable carry case. The carry box is quite compact and can be easily carried in a regular pocket or a small purse. Overall I loved it and would highly recommend this to everyone.

Soundcore’s Life Note 3i challenges the idea that you must spend a high price to achieve great headphone performance. The noise reduction is a bit above average, and the sound quality is mostly similar to more costly competitors. The full featured App adds a collection of sound enhancements that contribute more value. There is nothing about the Life Note 3i earbuds pushing me to run to the high priced earbud choices. SETUP: I had to make a few attempts to connect to bluetooth, but that sorted itself out without me doing anything special. I’m listening to music within minutes. Button presses on either right or left ear bud shell calls up Noise Cancellation or cancels it, and enable phone answering or call end. I’m in control of the music without using the App, but it is worth downloading. Bluetooth connectivity doesn’t require the Soundcore App to be loaded or open, but the App won’t find the earbuds until the connection is made. Soundcore App: It is within the App that you can create a collection of customized sound curves using a multi band (?? adjustment points) equalizer. The changes you make can be as subtle or exaggerated as you desire, and saved under names you assign. Soundcore has its own collection of modifications, also saved under names that hint at the types of music they might enhance. I consider this sound contouring tool as a way to correct recordings that don’t sound balanced. So, for example, my older 60s/70s recording lack a modern bass emphasis. I created an “oldies bass” contour and saved it under that name. The App provides a noise cancellation circuit which can be selected by button presses on the earbud shell or within the App. I have my two at home tests. Our laundry room lets me test for medium frequency loud fan motor whooshing and the drum beat of the washer. The Life Note 3i does a great job eliminating the lower bass and thrumming sounds. The whooshing was modified with the lower frequencies removed but mostly still there, if a bit quieter. Sitting in my main TV listening area with the TV playing loudly illustrates how effective these earbuds are at stripping away voices in a busy environment. That loud TV, limited by the noise cancellation of the Life Notes, now seems to be playing in a distant room. Decent performance but not as good as the category leaders. That said, it will still be very helpful on plane rides. Other stuff: These are very light weight, and stay comfortable in the ears for lengthy listening sessions. The charging case is quite small. They sadly lack mag-safe charging. SUMMARY: I love headphone Apps that offer any amount of sound equalization. The Life Note 3i goes well beyond any other headphones on the score. I always prefer a few more ear cushions but the included set was adequate. A good fit contributes to the effectiveness of the sound cancellation circuit which won’t challenge the industry leaders, but still gets the job done. And most importantly, sound accuracy was great, and music of all types sounded natural. These are a great earbud that everyone in our house will reach for.

    Great Earbuds!

These earbuds are awesome! I've tried out a few other brands before (Altec Lansing, Apple, Skull Candy) and Soundcore is by far the best I've tried. They're super affordable and have great battery life and sound quality. There's probably better sounding earbuds out there, but for the price, these earbuds are outstanding. I've had soundcore headphones and earbuds, at least 4 different products and every one has been great. I'm on my second pair of Soundcore life note 3i because I lost one of my first pair. I haven't had any problems with either pair and the earbud that I still have from my first pair still works great.I haven't tried any soundcore brand speakers, but I definitely recommend soundcore brand headphones and earbuds, they're great! Not to mention, super comfortable!

I recently had the pleasure of testing out the Soundcore - Anker Life Note 3i wireless earbuds, and I must say, they exceeded my expectations in every way. These sleek and stylish earbuds offer a remarkable audio experience and an array of convenient features that make them stand out from the competition. First and foremost, the sound quality delivered by the Life Note 3i earbuds is exceptional. The audio is crisp, clear, and well-balanced, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in your favorite music, podcasts, or movies. Whether it’s the thumping bass or the delicate highs, these earbuds deliver an impressive range that will please even the most discerning audiophiles. The fit and comfort of the Life Note 3i earbuds are also worth mentioning. With their ergonomic design and multiple ear tip options, they provide a snug and secure fit for hours of use without any discomfort. Whether you’re working out or going about your daily activities, these earbuds stay firmly in place, ensuring a hassle-free experience. Anker has taken convenience to the next level with the Life Note 3i’s touch controls. With a simple tap or swipe on the earbuds, you can play, pause, skip tracks, adjust the volume, and even answer calls without reaching for your phone. The touch controls are intuitive and responsive, making it effortless to navigate through your music or manage your calls on the go. Battery life is always a concern with wireless earbuds, but the Life Note 3i puts those worries to rest. With up to 7 hours of playtime on a single charge and an additional 28 hours provided by the compact charging case, you can enjoy your music throughout the day without constantly searching for a power source. The fast charging feature is also a game-changer, giving you up to 1.5 hours of playtime with just a 10-minute charge. Moreover, the Life Note 3i earbuds boast impressive Bluetooth connectivity. I experienced a seamless pairing process with my devices, and the connection remained stable even when moving around in a crowded area. The Bluetooth 5.2 technology ensures a strong and reliable connection, allowing you to enjoy uninterrupted audio without any lag or disruptions. Lastly, the durability and build quality of the Life Note 3i earbuds are commendable. They are sweat and water-resistant, making them suitable for workouts and outdoor activities. The charging case is compact and well-built, providing adequate protection for the earbuds while also being easy to carry in your pocket or bag. In conclusion, the Soundcore - Anker Life Note 3i wireless earbuds have truly impressed me with their outstanding sound quality, comfortable fit, convenient touch controls, long battery life, reliable connectivity, and durable build. Whether you’re a music enthusiast, a frequent traveler, or someone who simply enjoys the freedom of wireless audio, these earbuds are an excellent choice. Anker has once again delivered a top-notch product that lives up to its reputation. I highly recommend the Life Note 3i earbuds to anyone in search of a remarkable wireless audio experience.

If you are tired of spending $100+ on earbuds and want a more budget friendly pair of earbuds then these are it. They are comfortable, coming with two to three different silicone earpeices for a comfortable fit depending on how big your ears are. I've had these in for over 3-4 hours at a time ans still have comfort. They have an interactive app where you can mess with EQ setting to the get perfect sound you are looking for. Along with having a noise cancellation option. Which can be turned on or off using the app. The microphone quality is also clear for phone calls. They come with a rechargable case which holds a charge for an outstandingly long time. I barely ever have to charge the case. For the price point I am overwhelmingly pleased with the performance of this product and will more then likely not purchase a different brand if these where to break or get losed.

These truly are noise cancelling. The sound quality is grear both through the headphones and to the person you call. They are lightweight and fit well. The charging case is really convenient. Ive gotten about 8 hours of continuous usage on phone calls before having to charge them. Price point is great for the quality.

These are my first pencil style buds and I couldn’t be happier. The sound is good, the bass hits pretty good, right under from being great. The ANC is good but not great, but the music does muffle any excess noise that pass through ANC. I really like these and have became a fan of Soundcore after being blown away by the price and product output performance.

Noise cancellation is pretty weak and seems to barely reduce background noise, but it does do a little. I think the buttons to control the earbuds may take a while to really become used to or to use effectively. I’ve been controlling the earbuds via the app/link to my iPhone. And, the left one falls from my ear a lot; the right one occasionally, so maybe this style isn’t right for me. Guess I’ll try a sport model next time which has behind the ear clamp, and a different brand for improved noise cancellation. Battery life is great as is the portable charger/case.

I bought these to use in case I get a call when biking outdoors. Call quality is excellent. Love the fact that I can use just one so I can hear everything around me as much as possible. They are very lightweight so you barely feel them in your ear yet they feel like they won't fall out easily. I had some Best Buy reward dollars saved up so these ended up costing me about 25 bucks. Perfect!

I’ve waited several months to review these earbuds, but they’re hands down the best I’ve ever owned. I work in construction and they’re great on a job site to reduce machine noise without blocking out my awareness entirely. The transparency mode is great for office days so I can hear colleagues speak to me when I’m approached from behind and without pausing music. The dual connection feature works great, even with my older laptop, and the control customization options in the soundcore app are really useful. I primarily use the widget to switch between normal/transparency/noise cancellation modes but the earbuds themselves can be programmed to switch. The battery life is phenomenal. Calls are clear and I’ve never had complaints as far as outgoing quality. Lastly, and most importantly, the music quality is crystal clear with just the right bass balance.

Comfortable and competent little wireless earbuds

I've been very happy with these earbuds after using them on and off over several days of generic work-from-home computer audio. The earpieces are super comfy and *seem* reasonably secure (I've used over a dozen different Bluetooth headsets over the years, but this is my first pair of truly wireless earbuds), though I didn't attempt to push my luck by testing this with vigorous activity (e.g. lively exercise, head-banging). I also didn't bother attempting to change out the default medium tips for the small or large since they felt fine as-is. Bluetooth (un)pairing is *super* easy and painless, and is as simple and convenient as just opening and closing the charging case. Sound quality seems great across a handful of full-length albums of such wildly different genres as 21st century recordings of traditional Celtic folk and early '70s German electronica, though I had to pause it frequently over the course of the days, so I didn't have the opportunity to get a "true" "audiophile" experience (to the extent that's feasible with Amazon Music). There's also a peculiar aspect (which I assume to be related to power-saving functionality) whereby audio first starting to play from dead quiet seems to have a latency for some reason. This likely won't be a major concern for most people, but it was highly noticeable to me with respect to desktop messaging application notifications: with no other audio playing to keep them "active," my typical notification sounds were truncated such that the first 4/5 or so got clipped off unless more than one came in a fairly short span of something like 5-10 seconds. I therefore suspect that some sounds shorter than a certain critical length (evidently only a very little shorter than my own) likely wouldn't actually play at all under these circumstances. Make of this what you will; as I said, I doubt it will be a problem for most users. The noise-cancelling works well enough for my taste, but I'm working in a *relatively* quiet home office environment with only 2 other people around who rarely make more noise than watching a sporting event on TV at a typical volume or using a bathroom 10 yards away. It softens ambient noise pleasantly, but not quite as effectively as, e.g., the Bose Quiet Comfort over-the-ear product line. If this feature is a key factor in your decision (e.g. for use on a plane, train, bus, etc.), I would suggest looking elsewhere. Though I put them back in the charging case when not in use (which I *suspect* has its own battery that keeps them charged between uses?), I haven't had to recharge the whole affair once the whole time I've had them. I wish I could comment intelligently on this, but I genuinely don't know as I haven't been able to probe the limits of their battery. Aside from the *ever-so-slightly* weak noise cancelling functionality (which isn't a major concern for me, personally) and the odd audio latency issue, my only significant criticism is that the user interface is more than a touch "fiddly" due to comprising literally only one button per side, and is thus overtly and unnecessarily non-intuitive. Whoever decided it was a good idea to have a single button to tap once for volume up or down (depending on whether you touch L or R) and twice for play/pause or next track (again depending on which side) - and I specifically had to look those up in order to write this - clearly had no regard to the usage patterns of end-users. All-in-all, I'd say they're a nice little set of wireless earbuds that can cover a good range of possible needs - so long as you're aware of the couple of specific limitations I encountered.

I get a new pair of headphones about once every year or so thanks to the Geek Squad protection plan. I started doing this several years ago. I started with J-Lab earbuds, had those for a couple of years then switched to the first SoundCore Liberty earbuds and loved them compared to the J-labs. My last pair were the Liberty 2 Pro. They sounded great, and served me well for 1.5yrs. It was time to replace them so I figured I’d get the new Liberty 4s but when I saw that they had a heart rate tracker and silly features like that. I figured I was just paying more for features I didn’t need since I already have a fitness tracker. So I decided to step down to the Life Note 3i. They don’t feel as premium as the Liberty series, but they fit my ears better, and sound great. I really like them and I’m glad I got them with a little bit of money left over on my store credit.

Had issue with my headset for gaming so, was getting tired of the band and weight on my head and ears, so decided to give earbuds a second try, first time I attempted. I got infected with swimmers ear some how, probably from not drying my ears after showers and keep moister inside my ear for bacteria to build which was never and issue with headphones. Not to mention noise cancelation was not good back then for me, or was not right compare to headphones. So finally found these, and they are not bad, the bass is decently good, quality is not bad at all though did have to buy a 5.1 Bluetooth adapter with an antenna for lesser interference. Sometimes it's not the product itself but the Bluetooth hardware you have because not only did the adapter help my earbuds but other devices too by range frequency and strength. Sound: 4.2/5 Quality: 4.4/5 Bass: 4.8/5 Battery life: 4.5/5 Battery life is okay, it gets me through almost half a day or session of gaming on my computer until I have to recharge them for another 30mins or an hour to finish off my day if I'm busy video editing or gaming, etc.
