Good for the price. Decent sound isolation. Very comfortable and you can stream music as well. Biggest issue is that battery does not make it past 7 hours and not the 10 advertised.

Limited battery life, don't block snoring

I bought these because my wife snores and was hoping they would block that out.. They don't. Now it just sounds like she's snoring in the middle of a creek. In addition to that, the battery life is not great. I charge them daily and play the creek noise at night. They are set for 8.5 hours of sound. They routinely shut down in the middle of the night and Intend to wake up when the creek noise stops. They are a great attempt, but still need work. Perhaps better battery life and better sound blocking. I haven't decided if I am going to return them or not.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I would like to present our deepest apologies for all the inconvenience.

To fix the issues you mentioned, we kindly ask you to try the following tips:

      - Choose the ear tips and ear wings that fit your ears the best, we recommend that you start with size M ear tips and ear wings.
      - Please try to turn off the Smart Volume Control and alarm. Setting an alarm will take up 20% more battery so the playtime will be reduced to 80% of the original.
      - Note that the different volume has a different effect on the battery life.

Great Sleep Earbuds / Poor longevity

TLDR: great sleep earbuds that died after 21 months. I loved these earbuds. They enabled me to sleep next to my spouse with sleep apnea without considering suffocating her with a pillow. However, the right earbud stopped connecting after 21 months & tech support could not help me. Support offered the online troubleshooter which I'd previously tried (twice) & when that didn't work looked at my purchase date to determine if they could be replaced under warranty. The earbuds were out of warranty, so they offered me a discount code to order a new pair. The discount code would have made purchase through Soundcore a few dollars cheaper than the sale price at Bestbuy, but I'd have to wait several days for shipping. I opted to buy a new pair at Bestbuy for a few bucks more.

Super comfortable when I sleep. I've had these now for a little over a month. As a side sleeper, these have been a lifesaver. They stay in pretty well. And I hardly noticed they're there. As a matter of fact, just this morning I got up and didn't realize they were still in my ears. Lol. They're super comfortable and super effective. And the sound is really nice too

Maybe an iPhone with an app could do the same thing. The sounds are realistic, volume does not get very loud. Haven't tried music yet. Best Buy put them on sale for 50.00 off the price I paid.

To fix the volume issue, we kindly ask you to try the following tips:

      1. When using them in sleep mode, the volume of the white noise just can be adjusted via the soundcore app.
      2. When using them in music mode, you need to turn on volume synchronization via the settings on your mobile phone.

Bought these to replace the discontinued Bose Sleepbuds. They get the job done but are a cheap version of the Bose. Charging cord is short. Pretty comfortable in ear while sleeping on my side. On sleep mode charge lasts about 8-9 hours. I like the ability to tap the bud to activate sleep or music mode while in my ear. If you’re looking for a white nosie ear bud to sleep, these will work to mask noise. Still like the Bose better.

I had the bose sleep 2 but ended up returning them for these after several days of testing. I'd strongly recommend Soundcore sleep a10 over bose. Love being able to listen to the calm or headspace app with these. Will recognize when you're asleep and transition over to sleep mode. Blocks more noise for me too.

So, been looking at these for a long time but did not buy because already had the other very pricey sleepbuds 2. I was looking for sleepbuds that could also stream my music for sleep These were on sale so got them and I LOVE them. After I fully charged case, a new firmware update installed that fixed all the issues mentioned in reviews that kept me from buying... Volume is great, bluetooth distance is phenomenal and i can stream my music You DO NOT have to be connected to your phone/tablet to use the souncore sounds (theres's many to choose from) for sleep. You can connect to phone to use for your own music books podcasts sound You can easily switch from streaming to the sleep music/noise you have loaded on the earbuds from the app by double tapping bud you can change settings for double tap on each earbud --change tracks, pause etc, switch back and forth between your bluetooth or the sleepbuds fit is super comfortable even for side sleep Voume after the automatic firmware update is now louder than my samsung pro and plus and live earbuds Comes with many varied tips to get a great sound blocking fit. WATCH the video on soundcore website it is worth watching to achieve the best sound blocking to get your best sleep EVER

I got these becuase I was having trouble sleeping next to my partner who snores. Since I got these I dont wake up to my ears being assaulted by his monstrous snoring anymore and we both get to sleep through the night in peace. My only complaint is I wish the battery lasted longer as they will die sooner than I plan to wake up.

I had such high hopes for these. Maybe too high. After doing research among various sleep buds, like Bose, QuietOn, etc, I chose these as the were on sale and were the only brand that listed a noise reduction rating. These buds were by no means bad, but I ended up returning them. What I liked: These buds were tiny and light, just what I would expect from earbuds made for sleeping. The sounds were pretty decent, although I didn't use them often, as I prefer silence to white noise. The earbuds did a good job of passively reducing noise. I have a heat pump that can get quite loud at night and will wake me up turning off and on. Even without sound, these did a good job of silencing the noise. Being able to play my own music or podcasts through the earbuds was a plus. Overall, these earbuds could be exceptional. Here comes the but. What I didn't like: I am a side sleeper and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get these things comfortable for a whole nights sleep. I tried so many combinations for tips and wings to see if I could find the sweet spot. I even went and bought a softer pillow to reduce the pressure that would get put on my ear. No matter what I tried, I would end up waking up a few times during the night due to ear soreness. My left ear handled the buds better, but my right ear would get very, very uncomfortable. The one night I actually got a decent night's sleep was only because I was exhausted from waking up so many times the night before. And, while the sleep tracking was nice, I don't feel it was exactly the most accurate as laying still could trigger light sleep even when I was still awake. Final thoughts: For some people, I'm sure these will be perfect. I wish they were for me as I am tired of buying single use foam ear plugs to block noise. Unfortunately, after several nights of use I decided I just couldn't get them to work for me. I am giving them three stars for features and being as advertised, but they won't work for everyone's ears.

Soundcore Sleep A10 vs. Bose Sleepbud II

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I have been using the Bose Sleepbuds II for a couple of years and LOVED them, but the battery will no longer last through the night, which is frustrating. (and they are no longer available to buy). So I finally decided to give these Soundcore's a try, and am pleasantly surprised. I could not find a review that gave me a good comparison, so figured I would provide one for those of you that may be interested. Earbud Fit/Comfort: They are a little smaller than that Bose. I was somewhat concerned about the little wings and fit, but they stay in all night, and are equally comfortable. (maybe even a bit lighter and more comfortable) Case: The case is pretty light, and feels a little cheap compared to the Bose. (and is a bit smaller). But it works just fine, so no functional issues. And it being smaller and lighter is nice for travel. App: Some reviews on the app are not great. It is generally fine once you figure it out. Adjusting the Alarm is not intuitive, but everything else is ok. Not significantly better or worse from Bose. Sounds: This is my biggest compliant. I liked the "tranquilities" which are the synth sounds which Bose had a number of them to select from. All the Soundcore ones are way to "busy" or active for sleeping. There is really no good option that is just a low and slow sound pattern. They do have a lot of other options with waves, wind, birds, white noise, etc. Other than that, the quality of the sounds is good. Like the Bose, you load the sound onto the buds from the app, but you can only load 1 at a time. (takes about a min to load the sound). Music: Yep, you can listen to music, podcast, etc which is pretty nice. It does drain the battery more quickly, so you cant really listen to music all night. (unless you only sleep 4 hours) Controls: You can double tap the buds to start and stop the music or sound, and you can do the same to stop the alarm which is really nice. (Bose does not offer that). And you can also switch between music or sleep mode with a double tap as well. (more on that next) Music / Sleep Mode: there are 2 modes, music and sleep. Sleep mode will last you a solid 8 hours, Music is much shorter. There is also a mode that starts with music then flips to the sleep mode when it senses your asleep. I was skeptical, but this is actually pretty nice. I can put on some light spa type music, fall asleep, then when I wake up, it is on white noise. Alarm: Alarm works...well like an alarm. You only get one sound option, unlike the Bose. Setting the alarm is simple, but adjusting a time is strange. I just remove it and set a new one if I need to change the alarm time. Like I mentioned previously, you can turn off the alarm by double tapping one earbud, which is very nice. (dont get that with Bose) All in all, this is a great product. We will see how long the batteries last, but I have high hopes. If you are a former Bose user, you will be good with these. If they could upgrade some of the sound options, that would make it a slam dunk.

I went from Bose sleepbud 2’s to these after the sleepbuds stopped working. I wasn’t nearly as happy with these as the Bose. Battery life is much shorter, and volume/ noise masking is inferior to the Bose (which are discontinued). I was able to find some refurbished Bose, and returned to them. This product has been relegated to emergency backup role

Nice sleep buds, once you find the right ear tip/wing combo, it stays in ears throughout most nights, noise isolation is decent, based on the type of music I chose, I can dampen out the outside sounds, the battery usually lass about 6 hours. This is definitely the most ideal sleep bud implementation over all period. Other manufacturers should take notes from Anker on this one. Overall satisfied with the product

Small enough for sleep comfort. I was used to the Bose Sleepbuds, these are equally as comfortable. The battery life will get you through a 9 hour sleep. I'm glad I made the purchase. I wish they had a noise cancelling feature but the white noise is sufficient for a good night's rest.

Overall pretty amazing product. The only reason it’s a 4 instead of 5 is it can be improved with active noise canceling. My partner is. Or sleeping through my snores and disturbances in the night. The app offers her soothing sounds and wakes up happier. More like a 4.25 tbh

There are more positives than negatives with these earbuds. Positives: 1) They are very easy to program to your liking and very easy to get them going at night. 2) There are many choices as to the length of time you want them to work at night. The default is for them to be on for 2 hours. I have mine set for 8.5 hours 3) There are lots of sounds available to choose from and you can also determine what volume you want them to play at. 4) The holder also serves as a charger, which will provide up to 40 hours of operating time for your earbuds. Now for the negatives: 1) According to the ad, they are designed for sleeping, yet they default to music listening (while awake). It seems to me that they should default to sleep mode. 2) Once you are asleep, they turn themselves off. If you get up at night, they are supposed to sense you're awake again and turn themselves back on, but they don't always do this. 3) Again, according to the ad, they are designed to be comfortable for side sleepers, yet I don't find them very comfortable when sleeping on my side. I have tried all of the combinations of "ear wigs" and "ear buds" provided with these, but none of them are very comfortable. They are tolerable and they do fulfill their function of masking outside noises, so I'll keep them because I haven't found any others that are reasonably priced. I hesitated between a 4 or 3 star rating for the reasons shown above. Since I've decided to keep them, I gave them 4 stars.

The sound is good on these earbuds and there are many selections for sounds for relaxing, music and noise reduction. Unless the noise is very quiet they will not help, they are more for distraction I would say. Even the smallest buds are too big and they are uncomfortable if you lie on your side.
