Fun and funny game. As of 02/20/23 the game does include the code (which still works) for south park stick of truth. Two games for the price of one!

I waited a long time for Fractured But Whole to be released, and it was definitely worth the wait!!! If you love South Park as much as I do, you definitely need to add this game to your PS4 collection!

Being 56 and just starting my gaming "career" a few years ago, this is my first turn-based game. At first I was clueless as to how combat worked. But, Cartman, Kenny, and Butters, have helped me to get through my first few hours of play. Hilariously, at that. The names and moves for weapons, "strap-ons", and power moves are chuckle inducing from the start. I was "warned" by other reviewers that this was not a game for kids. I found out about 10 minutes in that it definitely was NOT. FOR. YOUNGSTERS!
I hide my disc from the grandkids because if their mother found out they heard even 5 minutes of Cartman's potty mouth, I'd be in the doghouse.
All that being said, I'm loving the game, South Park's crude humor, and I'm really enjoying my first attempt at this turn-based combat. Even when I get my butt kicked. Only con is the lack of a manual with my purchased copy. That's the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.
But, hey, the internets are always there to help.
I'd definitely recommend!

I played the first game (stick of truth) when it first came out. It was surprisingly good and very funny. This one is just as good, if not better. It's still super funny and the game play is even better this time around. The only "bad" thing I could say about this game is that it't not very challenging. But given this is much more of a story game, I don't mind that it's not very challenging and their are no hiccups slowing down the story.

more non politically correct fun, and getting the 1st (stick of truth) on PS4 as a download included!
Keep in mind that the code expires 1/31/2018 So if you are thinking of buying the game, buy and redeem the code soon. Im surprised that the game has dropped in price as much as it has since release with all the great reviews it got, it's a great game.

Much like the TV series, this is a game that is tailored to a specific audience. Whilst I am not a big fan of the former (admitted having watched only select few episodes), this game is a blast to play. The team has improved on the first game (SoT) and made the game-play fun. Although the turn based mechanics are not ground breaking, the South Park 'tweaks' on turn based action has brought in certain novelty. Humor continues to be a big plus! Would definitely recommend picking up a copy.
As of today, I have still not completed the game. However, I have already spent 4-5 hours enjoying the game. I will revisit the ratings once I have had a chance to beat the game.

South Park: The Fractured Buy Whole and it’s included prequel, The Stick Of Truth are both fantastic RPGs. The games have the same no-holds-barred sense of humor that we’ve come to expect from the TV show, with little jokes throughout the game that will please any die-hard South Park fan. It is worth noting, however, that since this is a video game and not being aired on public television, it gets away with a lot more. Both games include countless examples of nudity, and it seems like every other sentence contains profanity. Now, this is South Park, and that is only to be expected, but this game definitely earned its M rating.
Combat has changed a lot since The Stick of Truth. While in SoT, combat was turn-based and dealt with choosing abilities for a character a la Final Fantasy, The Fractured But Whole adds a grid-based movement system to the mix. The combat never feels overwhelming or too difficult, but it is always fun.
The story of FBW parodizes today’s superhero movies. The main conflict of the story involves the silent protagonist choosing a superhero class, each of which gives the player unique abilities, and joining the main gang in the superhero franchise Coon and Friends. They end up battling rivaling franchise Freedom Pals for superhero supremacy, but end up uncovering an evil scheme to make every day Christmas Day.
Lots of characters, both big and small, make appearances in this game. Of course, series mainstays Kyle, Stan, Kenny, and Cartman play a big role, but minor characters such as Classi the stripper, the PC Principal, Big Gay Al are also featured. The game even includes a surprisingly large cameo from Morgan Freeman (albeit voiced by Trey Parker).

As with The Stuck of Truth, this game feels magical to control. You really feel like you’re in your own season of the tv show. This game is incredibly funny, assuming you enjoy South Park, and the tactical mechanics are pretty solid too. The game will be fairly easy to those familiar with the genre, but let’s be honest. You come for the jokes first, and those are top notch.

I have played the first game several times and I loved it; this game has a lot of things in common with that game. The town layout is the same, the general gameplay is the same, the graphics aren't even that big an improvement. BUT, I still love it and here's why
The fighting system is fantastic and a huge improvement from the first game. The story line is fantastic and exactly what you'd expect from the creators of the show. And the banter between the characters is superb and well worth it.
While I had hoped that this game would be a great deal different from the first, I'm not terribly disappointed that it isn't. The story line, the characters and the continuation of the series makes it more than worth playing again and again just like I did with the last one.

The game has that signature, vulgar South Park humor, so if you're a fan you'll get what you want. It's pretty immersive, I had a lot of fun exploring the town and finding all the many references to episodes. Hanging out and being buddy-buddy with the kids is surprisingly adorable too.
My first playthrough was 22 hours long, well worth the current $30 price. I might replay it, but was disappointed there was no new game + to enjoy it a second time with all the unlocked costumes and classes. There were also a few glitches, though nothing game-breaking for me.
The DLC is fun but kinda short.

As a casual fan of the franchise, I picked this up for the satirical humor and silly story. I was pleased to find that it is also a solid RPG and a well polished title. I would recommend for fans of the show and newcomers alike.

I've spent around 10 hours in the game thus far, and I feel that this game, unlike many other games that i purchase on/near release day, met the hype that it was given.
This game is funny, fun to play, keeps you interested (aside from the basic fighting experience, there have been added layers and twists). I'd recommend this to fans of south park, as it plays like a really long south park episode. I'd still recommend this to those who don't like south park, but i'd also warn you that it gets extremely raunchy at times, so just be prepared for that.

The humor is great and is a fun game just like the first. The combat, however, is different. It is more tactical grid based like Heroes of Might and Magic. So it may be more difficult to get used to if you are used to and enjoyed the first. It does come with a digital voucher for the first game which expires soon, so if you're interested in that, make sure you purchase this game soon if you haven't already. Overall, highly recommended if you like the show or like the first game.

Seriously, this was one of the funniest and well thought out games I’ve played in a while. I will say the story wasn’t as strong as in the Stick of Truth, it was overall incredible. The combat was an exciting take on the turn base strategy set-up and the unique character combos made things exciting and challenging. This is definitely worth a pick up especially because Stick of Truth is included. Worth the price.

... now has finally a good game to go along. This game comes with the original South Park 1, that I never had played before.
Both are great, but the story of the 1st game is a bit better. As you geth both, it's a great package for only 60 dollars (48 if you have Gamers Club Unlocked).
If you like the show, you'll like this one. If not, avoid because you are a bitter person. = )

I didn't play the first game much, couldn't get into it really. But I have loved playing this. I was a fan of the show in the early years, but probably haven't watched anything in the 12 years or so and still love it. The humor is just fine if you aren't a diehard fan, and have just a passing knowledge of the show. The fights are great(combat is very good) and the story isn't bad at all.
